Yeah I wish our voting system was set up so that if you don't pay income taxes, you don't get to vote... Seems obvious - shareholders decide what goes on in a corporation... if you don't have shares your voice doesn't matter. But alas, we live in a so called democracy.

The left argues that demographically Trump is most popular with low educated white males that are either unemployed or low income. This could be ascertained by his recent wins in the rust belt states since a lot of manufacturing jobs have left those areas. They're basically saying, that most Trump supporters are uneducated people. However, the majority of the US is uneducated though so there's uneducated people in both camps. Some estimates say as many as 70% of Americans don't have a college (4 year) degree and only 40% have an associate's degree or higher. This is why Trump appeals to the 'Silent Majority,' As someone who is a 1st year MBA student and has a bachelor's in international business, I like his policies when it comes to economics. Some of them may be a bit unrealistic like making Mexico pay for a wall (this could work but only by perhaps starting a trade war which would be detrimental to the US). However, NAFTA, immigration, amnesty, high taxes for corporations, capital gains, and incomes - these aren't things that are helping us out...

Unfortunately, our system is set up the opposite where someone who leeches off the system has as much say as one who provides 100's of jobs. There's a lot more leeches than job creators.

And no, socialism doesn't work. It's great for the poor low skilled classes who blame others for their misfortunes but not for those who actually have a shred of ambition and want to achieve something in this lifetime. I grew up dirt poor and I didn't get to where I am through welfare, section 8, and handouts. I am sick of my whiny a$$ generation complaining about everything, that they can't get jobs, student loans are too high and demanding free stuff from the government.

Socialism works in countries like Sweden and Finland because they're paying half their income in taxes. Yes, income. People are supported by one another's income.
