I prefer painting till this day. I enjoy drawing with pencils too, but at liceum plastyczne we would do almost nothing but draw with pencils at our group's "drawing and painting" classes and we all just got sick and tired of it lol At one point one of our most talented classmates got so frustrated with this that one day he came with paints and just started painting without the teacher's permission :) After that our teacher finally allowed us to paint, but we only painted with acrylics (I hated them, because, unlike oils, they were drying so fast lol). Thank God I was in a group with "painting and gilding" specialization or I wouldn't have learned to paint with different techniques at that school lol

After I've graduated I did grow to like drawing with pencils more - I was drawing portraits as gifts and commissions and I got to draw them the way I wanted :)
