Dislike of Germans? None at all, no bad feelings whatsoever about individual Germans, not that Germany or anywhere other than Poland is especially relevant to this thread.

The important thing is Poland's growing role as a military power. Something that has huge possibilities for the future and is one of the factors that underpins Poland's emergence from decades (or centuries) on the sidelines to take its place as a major power.

He has to prove to himself and others that he is now part of Polish society. Typical immigrant, they are always eager to show their loyalty and overdo it. Thankfully, most younger Poles and Brits have a much more realistic and positive attitude.
