He's not. He often says things that demonstrate genuine ignorance. He's not especially well read or well informed. His general knowledge is poor to say the least and he's clearly not accustomed to engaging in genuine discussion. This suggests a deficiency in his basic education. He uses extreme ignorance and stupidity as a cover for being averagely ignorant and stupid :) Oh, and did I mention he's clearly lazy about educating himself which also doesn't tally with being an intellectual giant.
