These religious writings represent the pinnacle of our achievement as a species in the field of literature. Every single thing written since is informed by these "writings". You are illiterate if not able to understand these references. The references bear enormous wisdom, of a 1,000 generations.

The Genesis story does not defecate on women. It's ultimately Adam (the man) who gets the blame. He's the greater problem.

Actually, it's a recurring motive/problem with men - blaming women for tempting them as if they had no mind of their own, no willpower. In this way they shed all the responsibility on women - it's especially visible in Islam/Muslim countries and the way women are made to dress there.

I don't know of it's true that many men use it for such, but it really doesn't matter. What matters is what it teaches. And, what it teaches is the ultimate responsibility lied with Adam. Because he shirked that responsibility, things went bad. It was Adam's self-serving disobedience, not Eve's, that caused the fall.

Our modern problem, is too many women want to be Adam and too many men are happy to oblige.

Since only very recently. And even nowadays they have to give up their careers in order to take care of their kids, because their husbands are not willing to do that.
So, we can talk when women will have the same opportunities as men for thousands of years :)

Adam's problem was that he didn't defend Eve's actions. He put a blame on her instead of manning up (pun intended) and admitting they both sinned. Perhaps if he did that, God would forgive them.

Of course it matters. It influences the way men think about women and how they treat them. It's similar with Jews and blaming them for "killing Jesus".

No, I'm simply stating a basic biological fact. You mentioned biology as if that justified everything, so I explained it to you that biologically a woman is needed to a baby only until the end of breastfeeding and nowadays with baby formulas available a woman isn't biologically necessary even during that period.

His problem was disobeying God. Once he did that, regardless of his reason, he broke off communion with God. He introduced disorder to the human condition that was created for a perfectly ordered relationship with God. Once, he did that a natural separation occurred as perfect order cannot contain disorder within it, ergo the Genesis depiction of God banishing and closing off the Garden to Adam and Eve.

Even if he pleaded to God for forgiveness right away, the perfectly ordered relationship was damaged, as man experienced separation from the sharing in the life of God. His act of forgiveness would be imperfect. The only way that separation could be bridged was by God Himself. Hence, the need for The God-Man, Jesus Christ, the perfect atonement of sin.

That was the crucial problem indeed. But he had the right to excuses because before Eve was created it's possible that satan tried to tempt him but he managed to escape him; we don't know it in all details.

I think we do know the details-at least the meaningful details; Scripture is the word of God, afterall.

But, even, if Adam was attempted before Eve's creation, the essential cause of the Fall remains Adam's disobedience. Disobeying God's will is the definition of sin.

What would've happened to Adam if he refused to eat the fruit Eve gave him; would only Eve be punished?
