choke hold death of the homeless man on the subway reflects a new and frightening direction which justice has taken
in this country!
I don't know... the guy does seem a bit high strung (Penny), but then I never saw such things as what I read from the court transcript. He's also a 24 year old former Marine.
I ride the subway every day. I see crazies every day. Sometimes they flash women. Sometimes they stretch out on the benches, pass out, and then p*ss themselves. A few times I had the crazies threatening me, but nothing happened after I ignored them.
Never in my life did I hear a person say the things Jordan Neely allegedly said before Penny put him in a chokehold.
According to The NY Times reporting, this is what he said, as he lunged at a mother with a stroller:
"I don't have food, I don't have a drink, I'm fed up. I don't mind going to jail and getting life in prison. I'm ready to die."You see what I mean? You are also from the City, Lyzko, so you know that's a little more intense than normal. What would you do, if a guy was yelling that and lunging at people?
I'm sure he was a very troubled fella, and this is all very tragic - but come on - be real.
