75 Years of Israel and the War

@Bratwurst Boy

Might as well.

The whole world is burning.

What's another few weeks?

....yeah...cool headed, civilized negotiations didn't work.

That's why the US didn't negotiate with Japan. Instead, the US inflicted unbearable pain for generations to remember and consider in planning future attacks on the US.

Israel can do the same. Inflict enough pain on good Gazans to make them eager to out or kill the bad ones.

Since Hamas is like weeds, you have to poison the soil. Just pulling them one by one won't work. They will grow back. That's my metaphor for the day.

1) Push Hamas militants back into Gaza. Secure the areas where there were infiltrations.

If Israel can push them, Israel can kill them. Then push them.

Bobko, you are too soft...It won't work here just as it is not working in Ukraine.

If Israel can push them, Israel can kill them. Then push them.

Look... You see what's happening in Ukraine. I think it's fair to say it ain't pretty.

The Ukrainians and the collective West did not do very well in estimating Russian resilience, persistence, strength. As a Russian I would be remiss not to note the same qualities in Hamas.

As I told Grunnie, not everything can be counted in dollars and cents.

Don't worry, after a while the weeds will grow again first, even more than before.

Novichok
21 Nov 2023  #1295

The weeds didn't grow back in Japan and Germany. I wish they did in Germany to keep Germany exclusively for the Germans but that's another chapter...

I think it's fair to say it ain't pretty.

As I said so many times before, if you want to inflict pain do it quickly. I am having a really hard time believing that Russia could not just install a friendly top and avoid the bloodshed.

Polonium 210 or a precision cruise missile could fairly easily take care of Mr. Z and his closest two guys. That's what the US does so well - and to my heartfelt enjoyment - with ISIS.

I am sure that Russia knows where Z is before he does.

Israel has no choice. It must do to Hamas what Hamas swore to do to Israel - annihilate it.

The brutality of the 10/7 war crime by Hamas was meant to provoke Israel into action. They achieved their objective. Unfortunately for Hamas, they underestimated the ferocity of Israel's response.

On the other hand, they were amply rewarded by the response from Western "presstitutes" and "students" - woke leftist morons in constant search for the next cause no matter what it is. As long as they can scream and feel relevant nothing matters.

. As long as they can scream and feel relevant nothing matters.

They would stone to death the blue haired woke freaks or use them as cannon fodder. Send an airplane of them over there to delegate a ceasefire! LOL

So the truce is agreed. Four day pause in fighting, women and children to be released. For every ten additional hostages released, a further day will be added to the truce.

So the truce is agreed.

It's a step in the right direction, however of course all hostages should be released before Israel lets up.

Bratwurst Boy

The terrorists have over 40 children and young adults abducted....lets see how many of them have survived!

Novichok
22 Nov 2023  #1301

And when the last hostage is released, what's next? Just waiting for the next 10/7? Or continuing cleanup till the last Hamas is caught?
The problem, as I said, there is no such thing as the last Hamas. Only the fear of pure hell like the one Gaza is now can break the cycle. It did in Japan. They even stopped serving mushrooms.

The US got a truce in Korea and a century later I am still paying for it. In Germany, my dear friends Soviets along with the Americans taught Germans to respect power so much that today they are afraid of unarmed Muslim teen girls. So it can be done...

Luckily, Israelis are not weak slime like Western Euros so there is still hope Israel will be around for a little longer.

It's a step in the right direction,

No, it's not. It's an invitation to the next 10/7, genius...

The single best outcome for Israel would be all the hostages found executed by the Hamas. Maybe then the slimy BBC would stop calling them "militants" for a day or two.

.lets see how many of them have survived!

That concern topping the list is how you lose wars.
Winning the hearts and minds of sobbing women in the US always leads to military disasters. If women were in charge in 1945, those two nukes would still be collecting dust somewhere. You know...there are babies over there...and mommies...boo hoo...

jon357
22 Nov 2023  #1303

.lets see how many of them have survived!

Certainly some will not have survived.

And certainly more hostages will die a human shields so often do.

Bratwurst Boy
22 Nov 2023  #1304

Or continuing cleanup till the last Hamas is caught?

That!

This truce is just temporary...with abit luck the IDF finds the released terrorists quickly again too...:)

Certainly some will not have survived.

I fear those who are not let free for this truce are already dead...

Interesting view here from an Israeli man Yehuda Beinin, whose daughter and son-in-law are among the hostages taken from the Kibbutz:

"To be very frank, I'm not very happy with the messaging of the government of Israel," he said.

He criticized Mr Netanyahu for prioritising the war against Hamas over the freeing of hostages.

"I believe a master of messaging like Netanyahu knows the significance of the order. The freeing of the hostages is not actually his first order of priority. He wants to win this war. His war serves his purposes to a lot of ends," Mr Beinin said.

"We cannot judge Hamas by our Western standards of liberal democracy. They don't believe in that. They never have and they never will.

"By the same token, I want to make it very clear there are also elements in the Israeli political spectrum that are basically cut from the same cloth as Hamas."

"We have a situation here where if we want to move forward with a comprehensive peace and begin a process of reconciliation between Palestinians and Israelis, we need to remove these radical elements from the negotiating table. They have no place there," he added.

....we need to remove these radical elements from the negotiating table. They have no place there," he added.

Interesting wording!

Did he say with whom he would like to negotiate? When "these radical elements" are removed from the table? Just "Palestinians" won't work....

Also interesting:

Survey shows substantial support for renewal of Jewish settlement in Gaza after war

timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/survey-shows-substantial-support-for-renewal-of-jewish-settlement-in-gaza-after-war/

In that article is also mentioned that after polls und surveys Benny Gantz would probably win a next election...

...Minister Benny Gantz says in a primetime press conference that the IDF operation in Gaza "is widening, and it will end only when we can guarantee security and bring the boys and girls home."

"It will take as long as it takes. We are determined in this fight," he says.

timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/gantz-says-everything-war-cabinet-is-doing-is-aimed-at-bringing-hostages-home/

It seems the leading politicians in the gov and in the opposition are quite unified concerning the war in Gaza....and they have a majority of the Israelis behind them.

I wonder what is meant with "these radical elements"....

Exactly the ones you're thinking about.

It would be nice to hear that from the Arabs, wouldn't it....

All 400 million of them?

Agreed, however even the most moderate people have to tread a delicate path. And when they do stick their heads above the parapet, they're drowned out by oil money.

Interesting view here from an Israeli man Yehuda Beinin,

Always safely playing a news agency...Quoting others, never yourself...

Interesting wording!

...but not from PF weasels. Always safely quoting others...

...we need to remove these radical elements from the negotiating table.

How do you "remove" somebody from the negotiating table? Drag them alive or dead or just ask them to leave the room?

Why do Euros always make me sick? Hey, Barney, are you there or did you give up taking a stand on anything?

Let's see...Are you against Hamas decapitating Jewish infants?

Miloslaw
22 Nov 2023  #1314

Let's make one thing very clear.
Hamas,Hezbollah,Iran,Russia,China and North Korea do not play by the same rules as most of the rest of the world.
Only the USA,Ukraine and Israel totally understand this and fight them on their own terms.

Novichok
23 Nov 2023  #1315

I have to hand it to women ... always first where extreme stupidity is a condition of admission. Here is one more of these geniuses...

Susan Sarandon seen in New York City after being dumped by talent agents for saying frightened Jews are 'getting a taste of how it feels' to be Muslim in America amid Israel Hamas war

Sarandon was dumped by UTA, her agents since 2014, over the remarks
Sarandon had been speaking at a pro-Palestine march on November 17

Sometimes stupidity comes from a lack of knowledge. When the agency is run by a Jewish CEO, her stupidity is beyond understanding and repair.

As I said, as long as they feel edgy and relevant, what they scream about doesn't really matter...That's how female brains operate.

Why do Euros always make me sick?

The man is Israeli.

Always safely quoting others...

No dear. It's an example of listening to the opinions of those who matter - those directly involved and suffering in this war. That's the only way forward.

Just "Palestinians" won't work....

Fatah I would imagine.

Novichok
23 Nov 2023  #1317

No dear. It's an example of listening to the opinions of those who matter

OK, so you listened. That's nice. But why did you post them here? Playing a teacher? How about posting their opinions and yours? Too scary?

Also, why not on a forum in Poland? How about British or German?

The man is Israeli.

Israelis make me proud. Euros like Barney and Tacitus make me sick.

Novichok
23 Nov 2023  #1318

Hey, Atch, what in your opinion Israel should have done starting on 10/8?

How about you, Barney?

Atch
23 Nov 2023  #1319

How about posting their opinions and yours? Too scary?

You really are all kinds of an idiot - have you taken part yet in the lively discussions about this very topic on the Irish forum politics.ie ?? My guess is 'no'.

Here's an opinion for you. It's my belief that Israel allowed this to happen. They were tipped off by Egypt, only days before, that Hamas was planning something and they deliberately did nothing. They did nothing because the ensuing carnage gave Israel the excuse it wanted to unleash a full scale war and wipe Palestinians off the face of the earth, which has been their agenda for a long time. Believe me, the Israeli administration are extremists, as much as any terrorists. Such people think nothing of the sacrifice of a few thousand Israeli lives for the greater good.

Novichok

Here's an opinion for you. It's my belief that Israel allowed this to happen.

You have no evidence - just a belief. Did the US deliberately let 9/11 happen?

Back to my question...what in your opinion should Israel have done starting on 10/8?

BTW, your logic sucks. If Israel knew it was coming because Egypt warned thee, Hamas knew that Israelis knew and that they would use the attack as a pretext to hit Gaza back.

So would Hamas attack Israelis? To commit suicide?
