Rich, what you do is basically taking a brief period of history and generalize it as a permanent fact. Nobody denies that the West has been the centre of scientific innovation for the last centuries, but as others have pointes out, the rise of China and other countries will soon diversify the picture. Which is not a bad thing, imagine how much humanity will advance once billions of additional people will be able to research.

No doubt the Arabs felt superior over the Europeans between 800-1300. Indeed, the Europeans felt inferior to them. Yet anyone assumed that this was the natural dtate of things was gravely mistaken. The same rings true of those who believe that people will always be superior to others.

It is very brief if we are talking about historical trends. Nobody denies that the West has been the heart of scientific progress for the last 2 or 3 centuries, but this will change to some degree in the next few decades. China is catching up rapidly in particular. And again, there were times when the Europeans were vastly behind other civilizations. Would you like it if we took the state of affairs in the Middle Ages as a benchmark for the "White Race".

This is entirely possible, although I suspect that it will take India a bit longer to catch up than China. Considering their economic growth and population size, it is simply common sense, that if they can continue with their progress, they will catch up and possibly surpass the West. It might take one or two generations, but the 21th century will no doubt become an Asian century.

Which is yet another reason why the EU is so important to the tiny European countries. Only if we stay united, we can prevail.

You are a bit out of touch Johnny - Chinese minimum wage is more than 300 dollars a month - in Poland its about 600 dollars. To get workers who know what they are doing you have to pay much more than that.

Chinese living standards will take some time to catch up with the west but we are talking a few decades rather than a few centuries

Of course Nike is a private business in a free country And it's up to them how they spend their shareholders money. If you don't like it nobody is forcing you to buy their product.

You tried to make an historic argument in why the White people are superior to others, while I pointed out that this a fallacy born out of a very selective interpretation of history and present. It is a fact that the West has only been superior to the rest of the world for a couple of centuries, a short time in historical terms. It would be foolish to addume that this will be a permanent state of affair.

I mean it is not like White people, or homogenous entity to begin with. Russia for example was always seen as backwards and primitive by anyone East of the Vistula. Indeed monarchs like Peter and Catharina build their legacy by trying to catch up to Europe. And even then, Russia lagged behind until well into the 20th century (and coincidently, is once again falling behind under Putin with so many of its' scientists using Europe).

If Whites were indeed superior, it should have manifested itself way sooner, besides how exactly do Japanese and Koreans fit into your ideology?
