If a "democratic" government can ignore "the views of ordinary people

You missed my point too,no surprises there......
The people of Europe have had enough and are rising up and voting with their feet.
The problem is that all the established parties are too scared to face up to their concerns and so the people are turning to extreme parties, mainly to the right, but sometimes to the left, that are,or appear to be listening to them.

I blame the mainstream parties for their complacency.

We turned to the "extreme" right Trump and what has changed? Nothing. The scum is still coming and the word is out there that the US is a bunch of powerless pussies. Instead, we are entertained by a world-class bimbo show.

Im glad you see what i mean by that. I call it being 'cucked.' Theyre too worried about pc and virtue signaling and coddling third world migrants than listening to citizens complaints and demands to stop bringing them in and 'enriching' our culture. We dont need any more witch doctors and mud hut engineers to 'enrich' our european countries

Milo the people who are dissatisfied are within their rights to vote for new parties. In almost every country there is some alternative party - problem is that the people who run these are normally inexpeierenced in politics and economics and like the sound of their own voices too much. It's easier for them to complain about stuff than to fix things. The mainstream parties, even if they are crap themselves, realize this and know that in 3-4 years the voters will see through that.

Here in Poland a few years ago we had both Leppers party and the Liga Rodzin on the fringes of govt and however bad PiS are nobody wants to go back to having those kind of people running ministries.

You also overestimate the disssatisfaction - immigration is a big issue but not the only one and lots of voters know that on the economy or public services or defense they need to go with an experienced party.

Immigration is THE biggest issue right now in Europe and if effects everything - security, culture, crime, economics, government finances, demographics, public services, defense, property values, etc. The whole question that SD posed was does the country want to have a welfare state for citizens or give that money to third world migrants.

To you - in fact it is an obsession. But you are just one voter and you dont live work bring up kids or pay taxes here (excluding your few hundred zloty real estate tax)

I think you could ask every one in my street what they were worried about and it would be education, health, infrastructure- all problems that existed before migration

Dude, shut the f.... up with your obsession will you. there is nothing else that you talk about! It is up to gov of each Europe country to deal with this issue and herein is no brainier if a country is ruled by progressives/commies they are taking in all they can before their own constituency is gonna lynch them. If they are somewhat woke they don't do it or do it with caution.

Poland has a different issue - they are not taking all those illegal Africans and the Middle east people but that PiS gov opened the gate to a mass immigration not only form neighboring countries but from Pakistan, Indian and Philippines.

What make it damn insane that offer to those immigrants retainment plans (in Poland it is a pretty f up system) some marge benefits that Polish people have and on the top of it a one that made me real mad.

To the point I'm wholeheartedly against that stupid PiS gov that offering to Ukrainians (I suppose to other as well) 500plus ( a benefits given to those people who decide to have a second child or more) which was supposed to improve demographic in Poland and in my understanding (and gov propaganda) was an offer to the citizens of Poland. They offer it to some immigrants even without polish passport straight from the boat as they say.

WTF? They PiS and Morawiecki are dangerous churls!

What a better smoke screen to divide and conquer with.
You really don't think the world leaders involved didn't know what the consequences would be to allow millions of immigrants to crash the E.U. all at one time.

This was very well orchestrated to create a smoke screen of what is actually going on behind the curtains.
This was no coincidence.
Nobody could be so stupid.
Once Britain figured it out they said good-bye Germany.
(Germany's elite's secret war to dominate the West)

Indeed. Just one of the 3/4 of polish citizens who reject.middle east and african migration. Couldnt be more proud of my fellow poles for not allowing the country to become like france germany or sweden.

This was no coincidence.

Of course not. Like farage once said first it was we need workers then it was our population is agjng but ultimately its the left that wants to replace native europeans with third world migrants. Diversity always means less white people.

Diversity always means less white people.

In the meantime, Japan is happily 99.9999% Japanese. And guess what, they know how to pick apples and tomatoes, make beds in their hotels, and drive taxis.

Holy s***! They must be sent to Europe or the US to unlearn all of those skills to finally get it through their Japanese heads that they really and desperately need foreign scum refugees and migrants.

Even the koreans recently demonstrated with signs saying dont be like Europe when their government wanted to take in a bunch of muslims. Asians are smart people. They realize there are no tangible benefits to making your society less homogenous and that it only divides the society and imports 3rd world tyoe problems as the migrants replicate the way they lived in their home country only difference is now they have no incentive to work giving them more free time ro rape and pillage.

I will repeat the question I asked a moment ago.
Why do all the smart posts come from the US and Australia and all the stupid crap from Western Europe and Poland?
Is it because Europe invented all those very unpleasant -isms? Is it because Europe - specifically the UK and Germany - would be the best place to set up Orwell's experiments and be sure they would be successful? Is number 1984 Europe's favorite? Is there a reason why in this risk-free forum I have yet to see a post from Europe that says, I hate those m-fers, meaning the poster's ruling elites? I feels almost eerie.

Japan is happily 99.9999% Japanese.

I really like the japanese culture...but I have my doubts about their innate happiness. Their suicide quota is abysmal high...and even higher in South Korea, another still very much homogenous country....

Rich Mazur
12 Sep 2018  #644

It is because they work themselves to death, not because they are deprived of the joys of rubbing elbows with foreign Muslim garbage.

12 Sep 2018  #645

It is because they work themselves to death,

Yeah....working myself to death or being ravaged by some muslim garbage....wow, what a choice!

Rich Mazur
12 Sep 2018  #646

Why did you use the word "choice"? You brought up their high suicide rates as if to imply that being homogeneous was the cause. Which, of course, it is not. Their work habits are. No room for "choice" here.

Bratwurst Boy
12 Sep 2018  #647

You brought up their high suicide rates as if to imply that being homogeneous was the cause.

I was tickled by your choice of the word "happiness", that's all. I have a vested interest in Japan, even tried to learn their language and what not...I'm fascinated by that country and people, but "happiness" wouldn't spring first to mind.

But....weren't you rather implying that their happiness stems from being 99,9 percent pure?

Their people kill themselves off in much higher quotas than Europeans get killed by muslims...no joke. The most suicidal are the young men btw.

Rich Mazur
12 Sep 2018  #648

I am glad we have this one straitened out.
You are right about their suicide rates. My best guess, beside working too hard, is that they take things too seriously. Here, it's OK to say, "I fu***** up". In fact, that is a very endearing trait to be able to publicly confess to a screw up. Where I worked, nobody would dare say anything nasty to a confessor. Only, how do we fix it. That is why, after all these years, I am still in love with the American culture and customs.

Bratwurst Boy
12 Sep 2018  #649

Yeah...Japan is still an extremely strict society (no mixing, heh:). All Samurai...you screwed up, you get the sword out of the drawer. No other apology would suffice.

I'm not sure how I would hold up there...maybe that's why the fascination....

Dirk diggler

Thats because suicide is more acceptable in their culture

Just read...

No NGO rescue boats currently in central Mediterranean, agencies warn

theguardian.com/world/2018/sep/12/migrant-rescue-ships-mediterranean

Exclusive: The sea has had no migrant rescue boats since 26 August

Interesting...maybe that's the turn around for good. Now if only this news makes it to Africa...there is nobody coming for your expensive seat in a frail dingy. When it sinks, you will drown. Don't go there!

Rich Mazur
12 Sep 2018  #652

The only thing better than that would be navy ships sinking them. That news would spread faster than Ebola - a perfect disease for the stupid.

Paying lotsa bucks on human traffickers for your own suicide is bad enough...

Dirk diggler
12 Sep 2018  #654

@Rich Mazur

Ive beem advocating that since 2015, but naturally i was called 'mean.' Bulgaria use to have a program where the government paid 80 euro for every migrant a citizen caught and handed over for deportation. I totally would've made that a full time job if it didnt end. Get a few buddies together, ride around on dirt bikes and atvs in the great outdoors, get paid for protecting europe from a third world invasion. What could be better?

Rich Mazur
13 Sep 2018  #655

What could be better?

Shooting them on the spot.

Dirk diggler
13 Sep 2018  #656

Yeah but then you wouldn't get paid.... you gotta bring them in alive so the Bulgarian cops can interrogate them with batons and throw them back over the border at night

Rich Mazur

Well, my ideas are perfect only up to 10 pm. Later, you know, at 76...

EC proposes advancing forward to 2020 a 10,000-strong Frontex reinforcement

efe.com/efe/english/world/ec-proposes-advancing-forward-to-2020-a-10-000-strong-frontex-reinforcement/50000262-3675306

They get more ships and aircrafts, they are allowed to wear arms, stop refugees from entering and to send illegals back...

EU Migrations commissioner Avramopoulos even admitted that Europe wouldn't suffer the problems today if they had done that earlier.

taz.de/Europaeische-Union-ruestet-Frontex-auf/!5533549

Of course the building of a real EU border security (some call it cheekily "fortress Europe") will cost lotsa more money and will need more personal, but somehow I have the feeling the whole of Europe, also Visegrad, will be on board this time together.

PS: Frontex has it's headquarter in Warsaw! :)

You don't need expensive border security, just as the US does not need that wall. Deny them benefits, add draconian penalties and they will not only not come, but they will leave. Terrorists are another matter. They are unstoppable since many are already in.

Bratwurst Boy
14 Sep 2018  #660

You don't need expensive border security, just as the US does not need that wall.

Did you see the scenes from Ceuta? An enormous wall, with spikes on it, heavily guarded and still they are coming through.

People that desperate don't count on benefits first, most of them know exactly well that they don't have a chance legally, that's why they are hanging around the wall waiting for their moment, as the South Americans do at the mexican-US border. They don't want our benefits in the first place, they are living a dream...they want only a foot in and vanish in the land of "milk and honey", believing to find a way to earn some bucks...illegally of course...even these few bucks can secure the survival of whole families back home.

It's a dream which will end in a nightmare for most of them, we know that, most who did the trek already know that. But what keeps this dream alive are the few reports of people who "made it" somehow, even if it's exaggerated or plain lies...it's a dream!

Dreams aren't rational!

So you can't expect these people to act rational...so you will need a strict and powerful border security if you really want these people from streaming in. Arguments or benefits are not the source, desperation is, a dream is.
