Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

Velund

unlike Russia's violation of INF and OST.

And that "violation" is of same level of validity as poisoning of Litvinenko and Skripals. I.e. "highly likely and do not even ask for proofs".

"George Soros @georgesoros
Brave Ukrainians are now on the frontline and risking their lives in an onslaught that reminds me of the siege of Budapest in 1944 and the siege of Sarajevo in 1993.

5:00 PM · Feb 26, 2022"

That is, Soros considers the Ukrainian nationalists to be the continuation of the fanatical local fascists and crack German troops who occupied Hungary in March 1944 after the collapse of its pro-Hitler puppet government.

Well. We will treat them the same way our grandfathers treated the Hungarians during the war - they were not taken prisoner alive because they surpassed all the allied Nazi armies in atrocities against civilians.

It is a good morning when I read over night text messages from friends around the world and one of them is from Kiev. Taking part in a night hunt for Russian agents my friend of many years participated in capturing three of these special Russian mongoloids. More meat sent to slaughter by Kremlin gestapo.

You trolls would do a lot better to stick to actual facts that can be argued and not all the BS you are creating. Then again, you don't have many facts, just complaints about what NATO or the US did to other countries to try to justify your position. Meanwhile, Ukraine people keep stacking up those Russian bodies to send back to the motherland.

All Russ-Asian criminals who commit or contribute to genocide in Ukraine today will be one day caught and tried before Hague Tribunal. It is only a matter of time. Just like it happened to Balkan war criminals from all sides. Beware, you savage horde!

I actually posted that yesterday but it got lost in the maelstrom here.

His name is Oleg Anisimov. He's a very brave man.

Likely a dead man soon. Brave indeed. Not like trolls who invade this forum with propaganda. Clearly not making a difference here either, I have to wonder why they continue.

So we have our answer from the markets - the ruble gas crashed despite all Russia's sovereign wealth

You don't need to leave your basement to queue at an ATM with the rest of the suckers. I'm sure it will recover in 5 or 6 years

Why isn't Putin at the front like Zelynsky ? We know he is fit and strong - all that horse riding, helicopter flying and hockey.

Yes, the same as when he was 50, 60 and now 70. Plus all the tons of botox. He will be 80 and they will still conduct this propaganda. He will be 90 and he will take part in an international judo competition. Oh, no... wait, he was suspended by IJF...

Can you tell me what Putin wants?

In a few phrases if you wish - Ukraine has to be the match to ignite the fire of a great war in Europe, in which the rivals, competitors and debts of the Anglo-Saxon world were to be burned. First the Russians and South Russians were to destroy each other, then the Germans and other "NATO partners" were to join in. And when all were lying in ruins - the Anglo-Saxons would reassert their dominance.

Only it will be ******* work out... "Sacral victim" of Ukraine will cost too much for AUKUS.

How does your family feel right now Velund ? Their savings disintegrating, having to hide dollars under the bed again. Troops hungry and cold stuck without petrol and sitting ducks for modern missiles, They must be frustrated with the British and Australians for starting this terrible war.

It is really only a week since Vlad was on TV saying "in this part of the world we are on charge". ?

Velund
28 Feb 2022  #2417

How does your family feel right now Velund ?

Well enough. We have no USD in any form for a few years (well, I kept uncirculated $1 and $2 bills in collection), some savings is in Bitcoin on a cold wallet (I managed to double it during a last surge), some in Euro, some in physical gold (investment coins). And we will support our military for much longer than you expect. More likely "fifth column" will be purged and will go to taiga to work on a fresh air with a log saw.

And don't think that westerners will go away unpunished with all that "sanctions from hell". West is much more vulnerable than Russia.

No he has his Bitcoin - I was always skeptical about it but luckily in Moscow you can use it in any shop to buy diapers and potatoes. He won't have to queue in the streets with those losers who have their savings in good'ole Rubels

@PolAmKrakow
I think you'll sing very different song by September, if not earlier.

I was always skeptical about it

It is nearly free for me de-facto. I bought a bunch of video cards that mine ethereum, I play with it on exchange and finally convert to Bitcoin and store on a cold wallet. Selling some for fiat just to pay electricity bills (dirt cheap compared to EU). Video cards already paid off for itself (yes, I already repayed credit selling crypto produced by my farms), so everything they produce (over $1.2k/mo now, with not the best rates, was over $2.5k on a peak) I can depend of.

In any case, if it will crash, I can get something more selling used cards, especially if there will be sanctions and problems with high-tech electronics. ;)

No, they won't!

Germany especially will pay a high price for those sanctions....but it should make you think that Germans are ready to accept that....that a broad majority still stands behind them, fully knowing that times are getting rough!

But contrary to Russia, we will come out of that better...stronger....more unified...

I don't sing, and I have been playing the currency game for decades. You and your Russian cronies know nothing about finance or macro economics. Your economy will be a stinking toilet bowl that can not be flushed before June.

You don't even know how to feed and equip your army or your people. this is nothing new, it is your total history repeating itself over and over. Your country is nothing but one disaster after another. Yes, you are right to feel that the west doesn't respect Russia, because we don't. We don't want you at the table with us physically or or in spirit. This is not just me or the US, this is the majority of the planet. Sure its a racist position essentially, but we do not care. Want respect? Earn it. Want a seat at the table? Be civilized and maybe you will eventually be invited. Until then, stay alone in Russia, don't come out. Since it is so great an all, the oligarchs shouldn't ever want to leave for the EU, GB or US again.

Germany should have known better what the Rusiians might be up to and should have shaped its energy policy accordingly. Is Germany going to return to the use of nuclear power to partially make up for the likely loss of gas supplies from Russia.

Crossing the Warsaw West station in the morning today, I walked through a crowd of Ukranian refugees in the station hall, most of them being mothers with children.

The Ukrainians put up fierce resistance - and now claim to have slowed down the Russian troops. The pro-Russian separatists in Donetsk are already halting further mobilization....

Hey, guy. I trade on cryptocurrencies market. Do you think I will be in panic after 20% surge, that is most likely will not last long?

Much more important how much bread, meat/chicken and other critical products cost now. And I do not see anything that attract attention. Most critical products on supermarket shelves is from Russia and will not be affected in a short term by almost any growth of foreign currencies.

Let's see what will be later, without any export from Ukraine (if there will be too much guerilla, there will be wild grass on the fields this year instead of wheat) and with limitations of russian wheat exports (we have to feed allies and ukrainians first, then sell excess on open market). Let's see where you will buy fertilizers for domestic agriculture, without russian natural gas (figure out how much gas used for production of a ton of ammonium nitrate). Market of potassium and phosphorus salts also will give you surprises.

Good question for the future....I have a question for you:

Imagine Putin "wins" and the russian flag flies over Kiev and the whole Ukraine....where do you see Russia in about 5 years after that? Especially concerning it's relationship with Europe and the whole West?

Economy? Trade? Politics?

What do you think will happen after such a victory?

The Ukrainians put up fierce resistance

A Ukrainian friend monitoring reports on the ground (in Russian and Ukrainian) says that Russian soldiers are approaching civilians and asking for food, fuel and asking what they should do now.... there's probably some exaggeration there but it does fit with a lot of what has been seen. These aren't well-trained or special forces they're conscripts being abused by their own government. The way the Russian state throws away the lives of its young men is disgraceful (and one reason more countries don't want to emulate Russia).

I think Putin's problem was that he believed his own hype (and made sure no one around would challenge or contradict him) so he sent the army totally under-supplied and with no clear plan beyond being greeted as saviors and heroes... which maybe wasn't such a great plan....

Kyiv was supposed to fall (according to Putin stans) within a couple of days and it hasn't yet. A true hero city!

@Velund
And that is what Russia and Russian people do not understand. In the end, we do not care how much things cost as long as you wither away and die as a nation. OPEC thought they could crush the US with oil in the 70's. It didn't happen. The US and its allies produce everything and more. Of course you are not aware of crop rotation programs in the US and how some farms are paid not to plant. There is so much available farm land that Russian wheat purchases were more like a charity. The EU will get gas from other sources and will delay some Green projects. No problem. You are one, we are many.
