Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 2

Velund

Ukraine has the right to make that decision for themselves. It's not your right to make that choice on their behalf.

I am half-Ukrainian myself, and I have many relatives in Ukraine, so the attempt to say that it is not my business is doomed to fail. ;) Especially when Jew, sucking dicks of Banderists from Galicia, and funded from the other side of the pond will try to tell the people of eastern Ukraine how to live their lives and what language to speak.

And I reserve the right to review any Ukrainian decisions. If necessary, through the 1G42 artillery scope.

knew exactly where

No, I don't. Within the context of your post, it was probably aimed at Germany, but since that would be factually wrong, I wanted a clarification.

What I don't understand....what happens in Germany IS important to the war in Ukraine...it is important for Ukraine, for Russia, even for the aftermath, if we want it to be so or not...the world wouldn't watch what Scholz says and does if it would be totally irrelevant.

That war doesn't happen on an island!

Jew, sucking dicks

What an appalling thing to say.

Germany

germany?

" German police confiscated a giant Ukrainian flag"

" "Ukrainian flags were confiscated yesterday. Today Putin's supporters happily wave the Russian flag at the Soviet War Memorial in Treptower Park," Evers wrote"

This thread is however about russia's invasion of Ukraine. Not the excuses made by shamed third parties.People can decide for themselves on the basis of well reported information.

People don't need to discuss ANYTHING on a forum like this, Jon!

Who made you the admin?

GefreiterKania
10 May 2022  #1506

Putin's supporters happily wave the Russian flag

... as well as Soviet flags, which is a disgrace and no different than waving a swastika flag. Luckily in Poland displaying symbols of both nazism and communism is equally illegal and forbidden. There should be no differentiation between rightist fascism (nazism) and leftist fascism (communism) - they are all fascist scum and should be treated accordingly.

Do you have an Ukrainian citizenship?

Please, no adjectives.

Russia is an authoritarian state. Ukraine is very much a fledgling democracy

I appreciate the fact that you tried to answer - as opposed to some idiot who can't comprehend simple English.
I specifically asked for no adjectives as those are personal, subjective, and impossible to define.

There are about 20 'true' democracies in the world. Most countries in the EU are broadly democratic.

Again, adjectives. What is "true" or "broadly"? How do you tell a true democracy from fledgling democracy? Because they have elections or the 1st Amendment?

jon357
10 May 2022  #1509

as well as Soviet flags, which is a disgrace

I thought they were banned there. Evidently they don't want to hurt the orcs' feelings, or harm future arms, vehicles and technology exports to them.

There should be no differentiation

Sadly, money talks. Erst kommt das Fressen, dann kommt die Moral

Not the excuses made by shamed third parties.

If you make unfounded or unfair accusations, you have to count on rebuttals. This was yet another one. The ban was aimed at the Russian flags, but was only within the law if all flags were banned, since the Russian flags are not illegal.

GefreiterKania

I thought they were banned there.

Apparently they aren't...

...either that or the police aren't doing their job.

Excuses, excuses.

I prefer the Polish approach. A Special Paint Operation...

Meanwhile, Lavrov has turned up in Algeria. Certainly to persuade/pressure them in some way not to increase hydrocarbon sales to Europe.

That's complete nonsense. If you don't hold a Ukrainian passport, if you don't live in Ukraine, don't work in Ukraine, don't pay taxes in Ukraine, don't vote in Ukraine, then it's not your business to say how they should run their country.

@Tacitus, BB

Are Soviet flags legal in Germany?

amiga500

Especially when Jew, sucking dicks of Banderists from Galicia,

Why are most of the russian oligarchs jewish, and the ultra othrodox have closer relations with putin than the current PM of Israel? So you seem to be jealous the jews are giving someone else a bj at the same time? cucked!

try to tell the people of eastern Ukraine how to live their lives and what language to speak.

Funny how the people in eastern ukraine, even the people that started the insurgency in 2014 like strelkov hate russia right now, because the people in the donbass were living worse than ukraine or russian people, they were just being exploited. Kamil explains it nicely, how russia refused to put in any money and the only jobs were joining the militia to create an artificial conflict. twitter.com/kamilkazani/status/1504103672019513345

Rgarding the russian language here is a russian speaking ukranian explaining way more inteligently than you, how russian language came to ukraine (hint through colonisation). Ukraine as a new nation state has a right to set it's language as being used in government and in schools. Are there official Kazakh and Uzbek language schools for the in moscow and russia for the millions of immigrants there? So don't be a Fing hypocrite!

Again, adjectives. What is "true" or "broadly"?

True democracy is not my choice of adjective. It's a term from political science.

Because they have elections or the 1st Amendment?

Please stop using specifically American terminology. It's worse than subjective adjectives because such terms have no meaning outside the USA. There are about six criteria by which a country is judged to be democratic and if a country lags in any of those areas it is considered to be not a 'true' democracy and will come under some other heading. The USA is classified as a 'flawed democracy' for example.

Yup....like GDR flags....forbidden are Nazi-flags!

@GefreiterKania

Sadly yes. Probably because banning the flag of the entity which lost 20 millions lifes due to German aggression would look rather bad. Personally I would prefer it to ban the SU flag and the GDR, but well.

Excuses

Corrections, not excuses. If you were arguing in good faith this would not be necessary.

GefreiterKania
10 May 2022  #1520

Yup...

Sadly yes.

Thank you for the answer. It is a bit shocking for a Pole - here both communism and nazism are considered criminal ideologies and all their symbols are equally forbidden (if we were to count the victims, then communists would probably "surpass" the nazis in sheer numbers all over the world).

Bratwurst Boy

Personally I would prefer it to ban the SU flag and the GDR, but well.

....maybe they don't want to put the GDR and the USSR on the same level like the Third Reich!

here both communism and nazism are considered criminal ideologies and all their symbols are equally forbidden

....maybe because Poland was a victim to both....whereas Germany was a perpetrator?

It is a bit shocking for a Pole -

Understandable, but you have a different history with the SU. You were its' victims, we culprits foremost.

have no meaning outside the USA.

It has a well-known meaning and stands for the freedom to speak without fear of criminal prosecution. You can add extrajudicial government violence to it.

Does Ukraine meet this condition? It's a simple yes or no. No adjectives, please.

put (...) USSR on the same level like the Third Reich

It should be. USSR authorities are guilty, among other crimes, of genocide on Ukrainians... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor ... and Poles... jstor.org/stable/27920673 .

You were its' victims, we culprits foremost.

Hmm... you've got a point there (although German women of all ages, who lived in 1945, would probably disagree).

jon357
10 May 2022  #1529

New word of the year.

I saw that one last night and laughed. Blyad is a word I often hear at home. Ever hour at least.

Corrections

No, excuses. As you were told, Ukrainian flags were removed, orc flags were seen in cemeteries. As a commentator from the media there said yesterday, it is very poor optics right now.

On a more positive note, here's a lovely film with music showing orcs running around like ants while home-made Ukrainian drones drop their cargo on them.

It has a well-known meaning

But it's an American term, and the American model of freedom of speech as defined in the American constitution is specfic to America and does not exist in that form, with the same wording,in all democracies, yet some of those countries are more democratic than the USA. However, there's always too much yapping about America so let's move on.

Does Ukraine meet this condition?

Does Russia?
