@Crow
LMAO Russia would be destroyed by attacking NATO. Putin has said so publicly. Better get some updated information.

Crow

You believe?

PolAmKrakow

@Crow
I believe, and Putin believes. If you don't thats on you. He wont attack NATO or he would have gone after Estonia or Lithuania first. Much easier wins in theory than Ukraine. In the end he is like every short man with a Napoleon complex.

Tacitus

after your very civilized military had visited them.

And now your "very civilized military" is doing the same in Ukraine. Good job. Russia will end up like Germany in 1945. Perhaps not destroyed, but morally and economically bankrupt. Look forward to trying to convince others that Russia has changed and deeply regrets what its' done. Because that is the kind of role Russians can look forward to in the future.

@Tacitus
Germany was essentially an outcast for sixty to seventy years after WW2. Right or wrong, thats what it was. Russia will be much worse because Germany did not have the kind of sanctions that Russia has now. Russia will, by expert calculations, return to pre 1990 economic conditions before the one year anniversary of the invasion. That is without being invaded, and just being cut off. Pretty stark conditions for what was once thought of as the second most powerful military in the world who can not beat an army of largely untrained Ukraine soldiers. Its funny really. All the tough talk, really just a paper tiger.

Tacitus

outcast for sixty to seventy years

Well, more like 12-27 years but still. Living it down in pop culture is still a work in progress. Guess we have to be kind of "thankful" to the Russians. Now they can enjoy being cast as the villains im war movies.

All the tough talk, really just a paper tiger.

In hindsight all those Russian propaganda videos fantasizing of conquering the Baltic states and possibly Poland look rather ridiculous.

PolAmKrakow

@Tacitus
Not sure where you are from, but from a growing up in the US perspective, Germany was under suspicion by most citizens until the 90's at least.

@PolAmKrakow
Russia has allways been a paper tiger unless her sovereignty was threatened. Then the massive mobilisation turned the tide, it's what Putin is hoping for to happen via mass media etc.

As long as NATO sticks to support and defence of Ukraine and not offensive operations. Putin is toast, question is who will replace him

has been waning since April.

Or more likely, it was on such a large scale before.

Fortunately, the heavy weapons provided to Ukraine do they can defend themselves from the illegal and unprovoked invasion are now coming into use and inflicting further damage to r*SSia's failed invasion force.

Some good news (yet more of it) today. Explosions in occupied Crimea and many orcs taken out of action.

He wont attack NATO or he would have gone after Estonia or Lithuania first.

NATO attacked Russia. You don`t understand Russian tactics? Its not the matter of question would Russia retaliate. Its when. Its the question of moment.

And its not just Russia who is after NATO. Most of humanity is.

PolAmKrakow
19 Aug 2022  #1241

@Crow
LMAO why wait? Lets just let the bombs fly. Russia is a country of pussies lead by a pussy. Most of humanity? You mean like the starving donkey riders that the US has given aid to for decades? What ever. No one in US is worried about Russia or its broke buddies.

jon357

NATO attacked Russia

They didn't.

r*SSia attacked Ukraine.

Russia who is after NATO.

They're losing against Ukraine.

Crow
19 Aug 2022  #1243

They didn't.

r*SSia attacked Ukraine.

Its irrelevant.

NATO committed hostile actions against Russia even before Ukraine and then using Ukraine as excuse to continue. Meaning, NATO attacked Russia.

They're losing against Ukraine.

You live in a fairy tale.

Crow

@PolAmKrakow

I merely stating the fact. NATO attacked Russia. Maiden was EU and NATO attack on Ukraine, and since then we all knew one day Russia would tell us more then just Crimea. Now this happening. But NATO escalate. Now we know, judging by history of Russia`s reaction, that Russia wait for moment to retaliate and escalate things even more.

And look what NATO doing on Balkan. Support formation of Greater Albania and yesterday German army arrived in Bosnia. Local Serbs didn`t call Germans but Germans came.

See? There would be reaction to all what NATO doing. Reaction will always come.

PolAmKrakow

@Crow
Get our of the past. NATO didn't attack Russia. Russia is a paranoid country. If they attack NATO, Russia will cease to exist. Its that simple. Anyone thinking otherwise has not listened to Putin admit Russia can not beat NATO. Really man, all the living in the past BS is old and meaningless.

Tacitus

was under suspicion by most citizens

Perhaps by some citizens, but Germany itself was no longer a pariah in the West by the late 1950s and fully acknowledged when it joined the UN in the 1970s. It takes longer for resentments to heal, as evidenced by the attitude of some Polish politicians today. Russia will have to deal with that too, even if it does end up trying to make amends.

And look what NATO doing on Balkan.

NATO is there because Serbia stirred up tensions when Kosovo decided to assert its' sovereign rights to demand its' own papers from its' citizens. Nothing will happen unless Serbia tries to destroy the peace in the Balkans once again. The fact that a genocidal Russia is your only ally in this should clue you on which side of history you are on.

There would be reaction to all what NATO did.

Crow, don't you know that NATO is nice, cuddly, and peaceful while Russia is evil and that you, by disturbing this fantasy, make PF Russia haters feel bad?

jon357
19 Aug 2022  #1248

Its irrelevant

It isn't. They invaded twice

You live in a fairy tale

Putler and his demented apologists do.

In the real world, r*SSia is exhausted, broke and desperate.

PF Russia haters

Have you noticed you barely hear a word about Ukraine on the tv anymore. The only thing Ive heard lately was Mitch Mcconnel saying we need to send more money. I have a novel idea! How about the Eurps/NATO pay for once. Its their backyard and they just sit and wait for the USA to handle everything.

When that nuclear power plant blows up, perhaps you will finally do sth. Although, It will probably be too late by then.

Who is more feckless....Biden or NATO?

Novichok

How about the Eurps/NATO pay for once.

I second the motion. It's your war, a-holes. Deal with it and fu*ck off. Simple.

PolAmKrakow

@Joker
Plenty of Ukraine on the news in Poland. Plenty about dead Russians too. The US can walk away any time. Ukraine will fall, and we will be less than a year or two from WW3 in Europe. If you think that wont effect the US then you know nothing about world economy.

Novichok
19 Aug 2022  #1252

The US and the EU, with their superior GNP, technology, manpower, social media, propaganda, and love of democracy can't defeat a bunch of "Mongols". That's beyond funny. It's actually sad. But I have an idea. They should ask the Taliban for military assistance.

Tacitus
19 Aug 2022  #1253

The USA has the prime opportunity of doing something good in Ukraine after 20 years of mostly screwing up the word. And to their credit, they are using this opportunity. This is your chance of redemption after Iraq!

can't defeat a bunch of "Mongols

It is more difficult to defeat someone if you are not directly fighting him. That being said, the West has already inflicted a great strategic defeat on Russia in Ukraine.

mostly screwin

Fortunately a European country, obviously the UK, is taking the lead on this issue.

defeat on Russia in Ukraine.

...and the tremors coming from Moscow is Putin shaking in his boots.

The USA has the prime opportunity of doing something good in Ukraine

We respectfully yield to wise Europe and, specifically, Germany. You guys were so close to Moscow so you know the way - even without google maps.

Tacitus
19 Aug 2022  #1256

obviously the UK, is taking the lead on this issue.

That is the UKs' chance on redemption for Iraq and forsaking Ukraine in 2014/2015 as well.

Putin shaking in his boots.

He sure is, considering that he is spending most of his time in secret bunkers and imposed draconian laws in Russia on "Wehrkraftzersetzung". If a leader does that, chances are that is losing and he knows it.

PolAmKrakow
19 Aug 2022  #1257

@Tacitus
Hitler, Saddam, Gaddafi, and all the other great dictators and mass murderers only went into hiding when they knew it was close to being over. Even then, they all ended up dead. Putin will be dead soon enough. Someone will take the POS out or he will simply die. He wont get Ukraine though, and Russia will never realize its potential until he and all those like him have eaten a full serving of lead.

Novichok
19 Aug 2022  #1258

considering that he is spending most of his time in secret bunkers

Why does the US president need The Beast and an army of agents 24/7? To bring him tea and cookies?
How about a convertible? Especially on a sunny day in Texas.

Tacitus
19 Aug 2022  #1259

Every leader needs body guards. Even the pope has the Swiss Guards. Few of them however stay in bunkers the whole time, none of which are democratically elected. Zelensky was targeted by Russian Special Units yet visited the front lines. While Putin has likely not been West of the Ural during this conflict.

Novichok

Few of them however stay in bunkers the whole time,

Again. let me remind you that your rear end is not a very reliable source of information about Putin and his locations.
