Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 3

Miloslaw
31 Aug 2022  #1921

Can you people even imagine what could happen if nazi Ukraine attacked Poland?

My God man!
What planet do you live on?
Oh yeah, planet Serbia.......
The Nazis are in Russia and not in Ukraine.
And neither countries are capable of annihilating Poland.
Grow up!

Grow up!

No, you grow up and quit bullying Crow.
Did you guys see this yet.
Looks like Russia is getting desperate.
Russia has forced a "mass conscription" of 1,200 civilians to defend its occupation of Crimea, according to Ukraine's Defense Ministry.
So, 1,200 conscripts will serve and die under the blows of Ukrainian troops and at the hands of 'partisans' for a conscript's salary, which is about 5,000 rubles, about $82 U.S.

Anyone else heard about this ?

Quoting CNN. Or is it NBC? Anyway...

Ukrainian officials in the eastern Zaporozhye Region are being investigated for allegedly stealing massive amounts of humanitarian aid sent to them. They are accused of looting hundreds of freight cars' worth of goods.

Raids at offices and addresses associated with the suspected embezzlers were reported on Tuesday. Agents of the SBU, Ukraine's successor to the KGB, and the anti-corruption agency NABU conducted the operations, according to a statement by the agencies.

I am so shocked...

....self-inflicted

To be fair... the European countries who from the outset were prepared to sanction Russia and arm Ukraine, were in a minority until the United States strong armed the rest into towing the company line (Eastern Europe, mostly, was gung ho from the get go).

If not for US pressure, France and Germany would likely have been able to shut up the Poles and micro-Balts. It seems the French and Germans were much more clear-eyed about what the potential consequences could look like, and were wary of implementing the type of sanctions that were eventually put in place anyway. So saying that "it's their problem, and they should pay for solving it", is a little disingenuous. America made it "their problem", while they actually went to great lengths to keep it "Ukraine's problem".

Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia - on the other hand - deserve every ounce of difficulties they are encountering with coal, gas, oil, metals. They made the most noise, and acted very self righteously.

That's the cost of having a European project, nit picking in such situations only downgrades their influence and credibility by trying to stay out of european issues

Germany and France were never going to quiet Poland, they are holding up Poland's recovery funds. Poland has no interest in making deals with Germany over this issue and WW2 reparations. While you may understand things in Russia, you definitely do not have a clear picture of things in the EU or Poland.

This is why I am here, in the end. To learn.

But also... recovery funds is not the only way Germany and France can get leverage over Poland. Was it not the promise of Leopard tanks that gave Poland the confidence to transfer the 200 T-72s? What about the defense of Polish skies, is this done exclusively by America?

I doubt that.

The Nazis are in Russia and not in Ukraine.

This is something so obvious it's amazing it even needs to be said.

Francogermania and its satellites do need watching. Another two german public officials have been arrested as possible r*SSian assets. Fortunately the UK, Poland, the US, the Baltics and others will always stand firm. Good news that Kazakhstan etc seem to be turning against r*SSia.

@Bobko
Poland has so many military contracts now that any threat from Germany on leopard tanks would be replaced with another order of Abrams. Poland has become much more powerful within the EU because of this war. They hold veto power on everything as equally as any other member and they will use it to their advantage. They have the US in their corner and ultimately, right or wrong, the US is the straw that stirs the drink. The EU knows this, France and Germany know this. While both are sympathetic to Russia, if not actually on the take from Putin, they are not going to sway Poland with anything while PiS is ruling. That could change if the opposition gains control, but its not likely.

Imagine if the US suddenly raised tariffs on BMW, Mercedes, French wine and what ever else the EU exports to the US market. Biden would sign an executive order faster than he could change his adult diapers if France and Germany get too pushy with Poland.

As for defending Polish skies, I see US planes on a regular basis and lets be honest, Russia is not about to attack Poland. No one is really worried about that right now. Before Ukraine, sure it was possible, but now, not a chance. A bomb to Warsaw maybe, but a real fight? No way.

A nuke could be possible, but not likely. And a regular war? Not going to happen.

What is self righteous about sticking up for your neighbor when they are invaded by drunk rapists ?

Poland and the proud Baltic states made the most fuss because we know what it's like to live under Russians - horrible material conditions, no freedom, corruption, lack of opportunity for our kids and of course awful sludgey food

The excellence of the Russian army on display once again. With a three missile launch from Belgorod, one missile blew up in the air, another did a low ark abd blew up in a Belgorod neighborhood, and the third, well it completely missed its mark in Kherson. In other exciting Russian military news, three new generals were announce in red square this morning. Curly, Larry, and Moe.

Stop picking on Germany!

Germany will export significantly more armaments in 2022

Because of the war, Germany has so far exported significantly more armaments. Much of the arms went to Ukraine. But also to other EU and NATO countries.

zeit.de/wirtschaft/2022-08/ruestungsgueter-waffen-deutschland-export-ukraine-krieg

Germany has had significantly more this year so far Armaments exported than last year. By August 24, the added up Value of the approved exports to 5.1 billion euros, as announced by the Federal Ministry of Economics. In 2021 it was around 2.9 at the same time Billion euro.

Focus of these exports were arms deliveries to Ukraine to fight against the to defend Russian attack....

How can it be that Germany has one of the most prolific, successful and flourishing arms industry whereas the condition of our own Bundeswehr is nothing else but dreadful???

It's like developing, producing and selling Maybach cars, earning gazillions, but at home driving a Trabi....

Why can't russia make windows that aren't death traps?

Another prominent person just fell out of one.... like.... what are the odds?

twitter.com/nexta_tv/status/1565248941737877505

added: apparently he had criticized the invasion... why are windows so dangerous for people who criticize the government in russia

It is a puzzlement!

See the Russians are fleeing now from Belgorod - not sure if they are aware that their own missiles are exploding.

Also see Gauleiter Aksenov of Crimea has evacuated his own family. Russian morale is collapsing quicker than I expected.

I think what is important in PolAm communities is to raise money for weapons and drones for our friends and neighbors in Ukraine - turn off that computer and get down the Red Apple to shake a tin for the brave Ukrainians !!

Even weirder! A critic of putain fell out of a window in the US last week??? I mean what are the odds?

Why can't russia make windows that aren't death traps?

If they did, the head of their international oil company couldn't climb up to the sixth floor and throw himself out of one.

Most of Putler's critics must be like lemmings, so many of them fall out of windows.

The rest are just accident prone, touching things with novichok on or drinking green tea that accidentally contains Polonium.

Speaking of hospitals then Putin has decided that is the ideal place to lay a wreath to his predecessor. Sadly on 3rd he will be too busy cowering in his bunker to attend the funeral.

Strange that the fighter pilot / hockey player / deep sea diver / wrestler is too chicken to appear in public

Judge for yourself, look at all the happy children!

twitter.com/nexta_tv/status/1565261704828801025

Ha ha, the russians haven't been able to start the school year (a small mercy for the children) because most of the schools don't have roofs (because of said russians)

twitter.com/KyivIndependent/status/1565314272107823105

compare that to liberated Irpin

twitter.com/LlopisMarta95/status/1565314943624351746

russian world = violence, poverty and ignorance....

In other news documented civilian deaths from the russian invasion in Mariupol number over 85,000 (others claim well over 100,000)

euromaidanpress.com/2022/08/30/87000-killed-civilians-documented-in-occupied-mariupol-volunteer/

So.... so much for trying to prevent civilian casualties

russia = death and destruction

@Novichok, we don't know how many Ukrainians got killed for sure and from what we know 90% of Mariupol was either destroyed or damaged. So how do you think life is there like right now? Didn't your parents tell you what it was like during war and occupation? Was it AWESOME?? Or did it SUCK ASS??

🤦
