Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 3

Putin actually thought that Ukrainian people would welcome him.

That's a common mistake we all make. See "hearts and minds" in Iraq.

Again, do not disagree. I don't think the US had those thoughts about Iraq though. Saddam sure looked good dead though. So will Putin. With any luck he will experience a similar fate.

Very good video! Nice summing-up and it shows well how schizophrenic and lying RuSSian propaganda is.

As if I were listening to Bobko & co.

Exactly lol

Guys, check this out - a Russian guy who moved to Poland shows in this video what RuSSian propaganda is saying about Poland and what brainwashed RuSSians are saying about what should be done to Poland:

youtu.be/ACMOJiQ7aWs

Can you and other SStupid polakSS find another hobby?

Sure, the moment the RuSSian army pulls out from Ukraine :) But until then... (you know which finger I'm showing to you)

No. Actually, hell no! Russia survived worse and would be victorious this time as well.

So you're a hypocrite. Nothing new.

Do you include Crimea? When you decide to hold your breath, call 911.

No wonder russians were stealing so many washing machines... in parts of russia, apparently, it's 'normal' to do laundry in the river.....

twitter.com/Gerashchenko_en/status/1565365705284919299

backwards and primitive.... a good example of why russia is a loser country - rather than modernize and improve infrastructure (the town is a major dump on google street view) the tsar decided to invade another country....

If "we" means Poland, you did sh*it. You are free now because the USSR fell apart and the US gave it the last push.

In 1920 we beat soviets 1 on 1 last time they tried to attack us solo.

Novichok

...because they didn't try very hard. Poland vs the USSR...That's a good one...
How did it go in 1945? Not too well...

Exhausted from a World War, a Civil War, and having put down an insurgency in Ukraine - we immediately dived into an invasion of Poland. It was a mistake, but it does not mean you beat us 1 v 1.

@Bobko
So your more of a fan of reds then whites in that civil war I imagine (since you identify with the reds fighting Poland)

One odd thing ill state, I understand certain comments from Russian intelligentsia more and more and the harsh traditions of Boyars through the ages seeing how it's going on in Ukraine... And THAT's something I would never think I'll write or say in my lifetime to be honest

Exhausted from a World War, a Civil War,

Becasue Poland had been in a top form. HAVING A state for five minutes.

Whites represented to the average Russian,

the problem is tsarist Russia never achieved as much success at killing their own citizens as Russian communists - I know this is a hindsight but I sort of think that Russians tend to downplay the communist crimes (probably as not to seem gullible)

pawian

that Russians tend to downplay the communist crimes

That is an effect of homo sovieticus brainwashing. Like the ending of 1984 - Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother.

I always recall that quote when I see RuSSian citizens carrying portraits of Stalin in demos and later read that 60% RuSSians accept Stalinist genocide on their own nation. Simply amaSSing.

60% RuSSians accept Stalinist genocide on their own nation

Galeev had an unusually sympathetic thread on this lately

twitter.com/kamilkazani/status/1565348324831789056

the important part is that the russian regime is fundamentally non-contractual in nature - which is accepted by most russians - not only does the tsar not have to honor agreements - he isn't a real tsar unless he breaks his word and goes back on agreements made

it's a very non-modern non-western mentality but (the following is mine) that's russia, still centuries behind the west.... which is why it doesn't try to make itself attractive to make other peoples want to join (that's a sign of the tsar's weakness) it's only powerful if it can incorporate people who don't want to be incorporated

Imagine a man who doesn't want a woman to consent but only wants to rape because that shows his power..... that's the russian mentality....

pawian
2 Sep 2022  #2028

it's a very non-modern non-western mentality

And that is why Poles, who have always been on the crossroads of cultures and had plentiful contacts with the West, reject that mentality. It is amaSSing that RuSSians don`t understand it and call Poles traitors. :):):)

because that shows his power..... that's the russian mentality....

Yuk. I am going to puke.....

I am going to puke.....

The more I've found out about russian culture and the way the russia has been run for many, many decade (before putain) the less I like it - just a repulsvie, nasty and inhuman.

Before February 24 I'd imagined russia as not that different from Poland, European with a local twist.... but it's not at all, it's a medieval construct that needs to be reconstructed.

russian explanations....

In Zaporizhzhia, a russian representative was explaining why it seemed that missiles aimed at the nuclear plant seemed to be fired from russian-occuptied territory... it seems they make a 180 degree turn before landing!

Russians seem to have no sense or logic when they lie.
Maybe it's because they think that stupid Russians and their Serbian supporters will believe them.....But they must know that nobody else will!

Those RuSSists are dumb if they believe it will work

That is the problem, they are very dumb.

As Novi would say, a loss is a loss. You know, in war, you cant just say "oooops". If you lose you lose. Doesn't matter if you came out of another war before going into another. US could claim ooooops too.

In this war though, the Russian death toll looks like it may be picking up some speed. Holding the defensive line of Kherson is looking like it is becoming more difficult when supply lines are nearly completely gone and a large convoy of Russian vehicles coming out of Crimea is basically stuck now that bridges are disappearing. Imagine what would happen if the bridge to Crimea from Russia just disappeared.

As the weather gets cooler, its going to get hotter for those Russian fools on the front lines. No supplies, and cold weather makes for a lot of problems. Something in history reminds me.........ahhhh yes. Similar conditions are exactly what kept Hitler from taking over what country again? Similar conditions kept Napoleon from taking over what country? Hmmmmmm

No matter how much Poland contributes to Ukraine war aid, the country will not receive any European Union recovery funds, said Guy Verhofstadt, a Belgian politician and leader of the Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE Group) in the European Parliament.

Your efforts are in vain, dear Poles.

And no matter what the EU tries to vote into law will be vetoed by Poland until they get the money. In the US we call that a Mexican Standoff in a big game of chicken. PiS is not going to change it's position. The only hope the EU has is if Tusk gets into office, and even then it will not be smooth sailing.

No matter how much Poland contributes to Ukraine war aid,

Poland isn't taking a strong position on the illegal and unprovoked r*SSian invasion of independent Ukraine in order to get something from the EU.

They are doing it because it's right to do so.

Meanwhile, r*SSia are so desperate that they're trying to recruit 59 year olds from homeless shelters into their 'army'.

Desperate?

Russians seem to have no sense or logic when they lie.

First and foremost you need to remember that Russia has had a Muslim population for a very long time. It's allowed in Islam to lie to unbelievers (compared to Christianity which sees lying as a sin and needs to ask for forgiveness for it)

After centuries of having a Muslim population it's no wonder that the mentality brushes off on to the Russian population.

Also when a person is starving and sees himself/herself as on the lowest part of the hierarchical chain he/she is more eager to commit crimes. (Social studies in most horrible experimentations have shown this).

Russia's population have been more used to be yanked by it's powers then the opposite (even if it has happened). Which is one of the reasons it happens (Russians seem to be a bit conscious about it too I think, which is why it enrages them when somebody better off tells it to them cause it reminds them of their compared misery)

Don't assume that all adherents to a religion or a set of cultural values are perfect exemplars of it. Most Muslims are normal truthful people and many Christians lie through their back teeth, even clergy..

r*SSians however (whatever their religion) seem to have no compunction at all about lying, no matter how outrgeous the lie is.

have no compunction at all about lying, no matter how outrgeous the lie is

What's very weird is that they don't think their constant lies are a reflection on their attitude toward truth... that is they constantly lie but think they're being truthful
