And even then, only the USA and possibly Poland actually field significant conventional forces in the case of a conventional threat. And Poland's ability to do so is likely limited to Eastern Europe.

I could now point out that Russia is a) an autocracy in which Putin is free to dedicate far more ressources to the army than Western European democracies with their welfare states can afford b) wages and pensions are several times larger in Western Europe (and indeed the largest factor in their military budgets) which means Russia can unlike any European country keep a significant force under arms and c) still has immense stockpiles in weapons and armor from the SU but I am sure you will just ignore this.
