Russian Hypersonic
Apparently three Russian scientists - Maslov, Shypluk and Zviegincev - the constructors responsible for those hypersonic missiles, have been accused of high treason. :D

Putin is really hilarious - the generals are responsible, the army are responsible, people fleeing from conscription are responsible, and now the weapon constructors are responsible. The only innocent person, not responsible for anything, is Putin himself. :)

Patriot Radar Station and Five Missile Batteries Destroyed
The US has no business having this wonder toy as well as tanks, artillery, and 10 aircraft carrier groups because neither Mexico nor Canada are planning to attack the US.
China is our dear trading partner and Russia has no capability or desire to go to war with us so no threat from them.
Finally, the US Constitution does not allow the US government to tax US citizens and maintain the US army to defend foreign countries nobody here gives a sh*it about. The US is not a bodyguard for hire, either.
The only innocent person, not responsible for anything, is Putin himself. :)
Send your post to the ICC. Putin will be relieved.
BTW, I would swear that Putin is responsible for protecting Russia from snakes like NATO but I could be wrong...

Quoting: responsiblestatecraft.org/2023/05/17/national-security-experts-war-in-ukraine-is-an-unmitigated-disaster/
National security experts: War in Ukraine is an 'unmitigated disaster'.
Signers say the conflict will be 'our undoing' if we don't 'dedicate ourselves to forging a diplomatic settlement that stops the killing.'
"Since 2007, Russia has repeatedly warned that NATO's armed forces on Russian borders were intolerable - just as Russian forces in Mexico or Canada would be intolerable to the U.S. now, or as Soviet missiles in Cuba were in 1962," the letter reads. "Russia further singled out NATO expansion into Ukraine as especially provocative."
I guess they read my posts here...no accreditation...Not nice. Or I am a genius and as good as those "national security experts".

And now, the US wont be blocking anyone from sending Ukraine F-16's. This will go very nicely in the late summer and early autumn when finishing off the counter offensive. It will also create more F-35 sales to replace those models given to Ukraine.
This is going to make the Russian leadership sleep well at night knowing that the plan to kill as many of their own soldiers as possible will be expedited when Ukraine gets these planes. Russia is desperate to keep the top spot as the world leader in dying. Happy gulag biatches!

Only four months to train Ukranian pilots on F-16s according to USA. Also Ukr has opened up the foreign legion to f-16 pilots who want to blow sukhois/migs out of the sky :) I imagine plenty of ex-usaf and national guard pilots who would jump at the chance.

So Pighozin has admitted publicly that Bakhmut still hasn't fallen and is unlikely to fall any time soon.
Basically an admission that despite wasting 40,000+ orc lives on trying to take a small town, they have failed miserably in their goal.

Patriot Radar Station and Five Missile Batteries Destroyed
Unofficial reports claim only one of the Patriot launchers was lightly damaged during the night missile attack on Kyiv. Most likely its armor scratched by debris.
But don't be sad, there's always another day. Another chance of success. Just like with Bakhmut :-D

πΊπ¦ "Six downed daggers" turned out to be six Ukrainian bloggers who published footage of the arrival of a real "Dagger" on the battery of the Patriot air defense system and the operation of other Western-made air defense systems.
Now they will have to answer for the loss of an expensive complex - everyone will face up to 8 years in prison. The harsh term is due to the scale of the damage associated with the blow to the image of the Patriot air defense system and the established lies of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Someone has to answer for this.

Some more good news today. Natural gas wholesale prices have fallen to pre-invasion levels in part due to the latest sanctions from Britain.
Putler's attempts to use gas as a bargaining chip have failed miserably.

One Captured T-90 Led to Billions of Dollars Lost for russia
en.defence-ua.com/industries/one_captured_t_90_led_to_billions_of_dollars_lost_for_russia-6727.html
Some time ago the Ukrainians captured a new T-90 which was subsequently analyzed by experts.
Turns out that the tank has a lot of critical short-comings. My favourite one was
"The hyped new automatic reloading system turned out to be another myth because in order to supply ammunition from the stock located in the back of the turret, one has to leave the tank and carry the rounds with his own hands."
Potential buyers are already cancelling their contracts in the light of those news.

@Tacitus
What you wrote is so illogical it is difficult to comment on.
These potential buyers of T-90s, they learn about it and its capabilities from online news reports? Unless this incredible coup of espionage occurred, poor Arabs would never know how the auto loader works on a Russian tank?
Are you a child?
Tacitus

they learn about it and its capabilities from online news reports
They learn it from the experts that are quoted in those news reports.
Russian weapons have a long tradition of being overhyped while underperforming when put to the test. It happened with old Soviet weapons that were sold after the Cold War to other countries. I think Sweden ordered BMP-1s but decided to phase them out later when their guns turned out to be abysmal and the armour offering little protection.
This war has already revealed that S400s -against ealier assertions- can not properly defend against Himars, that Russian artillery is generally inferior to Western equipment and that the much vaunted Kinzhal can be intercepted by Patriots. Thus it comes hardly as a surprise that the T90 is a paper tiger as well.

They learn it from the experts that are quoted in those news reports.
They learn it by putting their soldiers into a Russian tank, which is either flown to the Middle East or the crew itself is flown to Russia for evaluation.
They spend hundreds if not thousands of hours studying the machine from every possible angle. Modifications are made to adapt the machine to local realities. Government committees issue thousand page reports giving further recommendations.
But no, here is Tacitus telling us that Arabs buy a Russian tank - sight unseen - by Googling its comparisons with a Leopard and Leclerc.

The way Udmurtians sell their tanks in Africa and Asia is in the time honored manner they know best - hefty kickbacks to the rulers nephews plus an accompanying army of good looking hookers.
They always have to pay people to buy their rustbuckets, nobody would do that sober and for free.

That certainly accounts for quite a lot of sales yeah. But there are also countries that can't afford or can't access Western equipment and made the strategic choice to rely on Russia weapons.
Notably I've read reports stating that former and current Indian defence officials are deeply unhappy with the performance of Russian weapons and are considering switching to Western systems if the West agrees.
spend hundreds if not thousands of hours studying
And yet it tooks this war to reveal a lot of myths attributed to Russian weapons as unfounded. One can imagine that Crow must be very disappointed that the S400s he used to brag about are a lot less effective than imagined.
We shall see how Russian tanks perform against Western ones.

Damn Prigozhin not only talks the talk but also walks the walk. He has enough money to where he could be cruising around in a private jet sipping million ruble wine and doing lines of blow off super escorts camel toes. Instead he is in the $hit with his men. There is something to be said about that.
π·πΊπΊπ¦πΊπ² American mercenary Nicholas Duyen Meymer, a former Green Beret soldier of the US Army, who was killed by Wagner PMC fighters during the assault on the Nest fortified area in Bakhmut, near the house on Donbass Liberators Street 9.
Meimer, according to various sources, had been in Ukraine for about a year, managed to visit the Mozart PMC, and then became an instructor for the TRO units.
At the same time, Yevgeny Prigozhin, in his usual manner, has already promised to return Maymer's body to the United States.
