Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 6

Nice twitter thread on the meaning of the current attacks by russia on the Ukrainian city of Odesa.

twitter.com/betelgeuse1922/status/1683023483041890304

money quote: "(putain and company) don't have a future but they also don't have a past. Only the instant urges, only what seems "right" in a moment. No plan, no ideas, nothing"

Similar to what Vlad Vexler said about Girkin... although he could be lucid about russian failure he was completely unable to form any coherent reason for waging the war in the first place... it's like a fantasy role-playing game, trying to recreate a past that never existed.....

since you can proceed to remove the mines as you follow the pattern until you've counted the correct amount

But your'e still under constant attack from multiple forms of weapons whilst youre attempting to demine, which is the problem the Ukris are facing.

An article in the WSJ - "Ukraine's Lack of Weaponry and Training Risks Stalemate in Fight With Russia".

It's making the rounds in the Ukrainian press.

This is the excerpt which sends the Ukrainian readers howling with rage:

When Ukraine launched its big counteroffensive this spring, Western military officials knew Kyiv didn't have all the training or weapons-from shells to warplanes-that it needed to dislodge Russian forces. But they hoped Ukrainian courage and resourcefulness would carry the day.

Providing link to an article on Ukrainska Pravda (leading newspaper) that discusses the WSJ piece. Please read comments from grateful Ukrainians that have been condemned to a senseless meatgrinder by Mark Milley, Ben Wallace, et al.

Here's an example of one comment:

" But they hoped Ukrainian courage and resourcefulness would carry the day." What type of people are these... I have no polite words... Hope all of this returns to them as a boomerang

Ukrainians received huge material support. If only we had a half, or even a quarter of this in 1939, instead of invasion from all directions!

Where would they be without those hundreds of tanks, artillery and every possible kind of equipment? Where would they be without Polish trains full of ammunition and fuel constantly rollling eastward?

Sometimes, when you listen to Ukrainians you get the impression that their every success is a result of their bravery and fighting spirit, and their every failure is a result of insufficient support from the West.

There is some small component of Ukrainian society that is able to think rationally and logically - that are careful to frequently express thanks for the huge support. However, the majority is incredibly "reactive" - which is maybe normal for a people in a state of war and emotionally traumatized. Today it's "thank you Poland for the Twardys", tomorrow its "**** Morawiecki and every traitorous Lyakh". Look at the comment in the picture above, which is below the first one.

It says - "They don't owe us anything." That comment got one "like", the other one got seven.

Yes, we have to take this into account. It's understandable.

Bobko

It's understandable.

Understandable, but easily exploited by yours truly, especially against tired Western electorates. Ukrainians are masters at information war, and Russians have much catching up to do. Some extra ammunition would not be unhelpful.

When Ukraine launched its big counteroffensive this spring, Western military officials knew Kyiv didn't have all the training or weapons-

Well, my impression was/is that it was the West that was pressing for the counter-offensive to start already, that they were growing impatient, so what did they expect? If I were Ukrainian I'd be pissed/frustrated too, since it's the Ukrainias who are doing the fighting and dying here... You can't hope on just "courage and resourcefulness" to win the war, if there's not enough weapons and training. And Ukraine depends on the West for that.

at information war, Russians have much catching up to do.

What a load of bullsh1t lol

The fact that the West isn't buying your bullsh1t anymore, doesn't mean that other parts of the world aren't buying it either :)))

Don`t be silly. Russians had been preparing for this war since 2014 - and they had money from fuels sold in the European market. Also Poland sponsored Russian preparations. While Ukraine, as much poorer , was unable to produce and amass so much armament as Russia.

You lied too much already.

Yes, those putinists are professional liars. :):)

Belarusian President Lukashenko claimed today that Poland is trying to annex Ukraine while he's had to restrain Wagner Group fighters from invading the country.

It would be immensely hilarious to see the wagnerites "invading" Poland and being swept up in 45 minutes (1 hour max). :D

and being swept up in 45 minutes (1 hour max).

Nope, it would take a bit longer. They are experienced and tough warriors. If they go hiding into the thick forest in northern Poland, finding them and eliminating might take weeks.

What if wagnerites will be there (and advancing) in 24h instead? ;)

What if wagnerites

Brilliant. Wojsko Polskie and our American friends from expeditionary forces could use some real target practice. Bring it on. :)

he's had to restrain Wagner Group fighters from invading the country.

Some were wondering if putain was going to try to use Wagner in Belarus to poke at NATO to guage its willingness to fight...

Now Lukashenka has gone and given the game away.... rather like the big map he publicised showing how russia wanted to carve up Ukraine which scuttled those plans.

Most don't appreciate this but Lukashenka's big dumb guy act is... an act. He's much smarter than putain and routinely sabotages his plans and gets away with it because he has something putain wants - the idea of a "union state" (part of putain's "triune nation" fantasy).

Here's a thread from last year by Galeev where he explains the relationship... very funny.

Yes you need to play your part in the psyops campaign. I suggest you murder your Ukranian wife in a brutal banderite manner. (the more pieces, the better.)

Then tell the police and press it was a Ukrainian Supremacist/Nazi that killed her, because she was corrupting her clean bloodline by fornicating with a muscovite. This maskirovka will cause shockwaves and elicit sympathy towards Russians in New York.

Your sacrifice for the motherland will be noted comrade and no doubt you will receive an invitation to work for the GRU Twelfth Directorate.

One of the striking things about russia supporters is their total inability to process new information (Vlad Vexler says the same thing about putain - unable to process new information and changes in relationships).

This is why they endless share the results of an election in 2010 as if it were still valid and endless circulated the film/pictures of a few Ukrainian tanks getting shelled....

So meet Gennadiy Trukhanov, for years a pro-russian politician who perhaps has/had a russian passport.... the year is now 2023 and he has a few words in russian for those who find it hard to learn (which is almost all russians...)

twitter.com/NatalkaKyiv/status/1683175048427847680

highlights:

"If you only knew how much Odessa hates you. Not only hates you, but despises you."

"You are simply creatures with no tribe or clan, no morals or values. And without a future."

Velund

is their total inability to process new information

Do you mean ability to discard obvious disinformation before being processed? ;)

quick test:

What do you think about Girkin? What did you think about him last week?

or....

name three areas of official russian policy that you, personally, disagree with....

to see the wagnerites "invading" Poland

We should just eliminate them there that there, in Rhodesian style. That would give a warning to Our dear potato moose and his people.

What do you think about Girkin?

What kind of test it is? I kind of like him in an abstract way, if you know what I mean.

I kind of like him in an abstract way

I was interested if Velund is able to articulate any opinions that have changed over time or which are independent of official russian policy.... I have an idea it'll be a long wait... russians are not big on introspective judgement

While we wait for Velund to find out what his opinions are....

Here's a poll taken in russia about the benefits of the 'special military operation'.....

twitter.com/markomihkelson/status/1683345807297204225

much to novichok's despair... stopping NATO (coalesced with 'western aggression') is only in third place

the winner is of course... expanding the empire.... for what purpose?

no one knows but 'expanding the motherland' is a primal urge among unself-aware russians who follow it the same way lemmings follow their traditional migratory paths....

Ironside
24 Jul 2023  #2070

it the same way lemmings follow their traditional migratory paths..
