Boohoo, I'm so scared. That's the whole deal with Russia. They invade those they consider weak. They cannot attack Finland now due to its NATO membership. They won't attack the Baltic States or Poland. But they did attack Moldavia, Georgia and Ukraine.

@Velund, considering that RuSSia invaded yet another of its neighbours, there are RuSSian military bases in Belarus, RuSSian soldiers who attacked Ukraine from Belarusian territory and now also Wagner Group, there are RuSSian missile attacks coming from Belarus and RuSSia announced that RuSSian tactical nuclear weapons will be stationed in Belarus - I really, really see no reason why NATO bases shouldn't be in countries neighbouring with RuSSia.

Before the war you could see so many russian cars in Poland esp tri city area and for the last year I havent even noticed one russian car but still plenty of Belarussian cars.

Many people have 2, 3, and 5 year SCHENGEN visas. So you will still see many Russians for a little while, but after that the numbers will probably fall like a rock.

The usual Finnish, Latvian, and Czech visas people used to get like candy have become harder to get. My own European visa is set to expire, and I'm a little worried about which country I should apply with to have the best chances of getting another multi-year. My friends have been telling me they are getting visas, which essentially match just the dates of their travel.
