Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 6

Tacitus
4 Aug 2023  #2281

Not to mention that Russia signed off on all those enlargements. Putin himself said more than once that he had no problem with them... .

Russia will have to accept that

True, but the problem is that Russia already accepted this once, until it chooses not to anymore under Putin.

We know how much value those agreements have for Russia. I think the Duma even entertained the idea of nullifying the 2+4 treaty... . Hardly possible to negotiate with someone who might in a (in foreign policy terms) short time just put the results of thise negotiations aside.

Hence the Ukrainians will likely continue to fight as long as possible.

Ukraine made their choice.

meanwhile ruskies males fu*ck each other in the butt
Last hope of the white race. Russian males and their prison mentality adopted as national culture.

Velund

Yes, and Russia will have to accept that...

Russia is also made their choice, and project "ukraine" existence is not compatible with that choice. And EU/NATO will have to deal with consequences.

For now seems that US is cannibalizing economy of their former european partners to stay afloat, and dump older weapons stockpiles to provide cash flow for their MIC. So, prepare your personal downshifting plans to least painful living standards cut.

OK? WTF?
CDL ?
Commercial driver's license?
California Digital Library?
Common Data Link?
Computer Driving Licence?
Component Description Language?
Certified Dock Loader?
Chicken Dance License?
Call of Duty League?
Computer Design Language?
Central Door Locking?

But then the Ukies would be justified in thinking Udmurtia's existence is not compatible with their choices and simply end their restraint by attacking Udmurtia itself ?

They won't do that because all they want is a peaceful life free from Udmurtian thieving Nazi rapists

Awesome having an Udmurtian lecture us Poles on falling living standards LOL - written no doubt after a heavy lunch at the 24 hour sushi bar

On the contrary.......russia is looking to buy more ammunition from North Korea to replenish its dwindling stockpiles.

Russia is also made their choice

And will have to live (or not) with the consequences....

And I am sure if that happens that the Russian people will consider having fought a war about territory they already controlled and were not in danger of losing before February 2022 completely worth it... .

Russian court sentenced jailed opposition leader Alexei Navalny to a 19-year prison term Friday, convicting the one-time blogger and anti-corruption crusader on charges of supporting "extremism.".

Sounds familiar here in the U.S.A.

We know nothing. None of us here.

If Russia withstands Ukraine's assault, without the latter being able to effect any effective breaches, then Russia will have a very large reserve of fresh formations to use in some plan of its own (again during winter/spring unfortunately).

If Ukraine grinds down the defenses and breaks through into the undefended rear, then everything will be thrown at stopping them. Whether through desperate counterattacks, or some heroic new trench digging.

Let's see what happens, and withhold judgment until then.

You will of course be there with your shovel to help with the heroic trench digging ?

Tacitus
4 Aug 2023  #2294

@Bobko

Out of curiosity. Can you imagine a somewhat realistic scenario in which Russia could end the war in a way that allow Putin justify the expenses of the war? And I am not talking about bs reasoning like preventing a NATO invasion and bio labs (not to mention how Russia's position has hardly improved on this front since Finland's decision to join NATO).

In my mind, even optimistic assumptions hinging on a Trump reelection would still require Russia to have fought a 3+ year long war with increasing cost to itself. All for heavily destroyed and depopulated land.

+ a hostile population which will resist Moscow at every turn!

Novichok
5 Aug 2023  #2296

in which Russia could end the war in a way that allow Putin justify the expenses of the war?

...and a lot easier than the US can justify 7 triilion it blew in Iraq and Afghanistan for sh*it - meaning zero gain. Like zilch, nada, gowno, nic...

Back to Russia...
1. Russia sent a message that is almost identical to the one the US sent to the USSR over Cuiba: This is the red line. Don't fu*ck with us. In Russia's case, I am talking about the snake.

2. Russia decided to protect the Russian minority. If you want to claim that Russians were treated as well as Ukrainians, I have some choice words at the ready for you.

3. To accomplish #2, Russia had to annex C, D, and L. These territories have a market value in trillions or close to it.

+ a hostile population which will resist Moscow at every turn!

That's why Russia in not planning to invade Western Ukraine.
BTW, you point is perfect and applies to Poland and the Poles, too. So tell them that they are safe the way skunks are safe.

Naturally.

The above are my opinions so no links.

Ther, yes ther. Pffffft !
Poland arrests Belarusian accused of spying for Russia.
This makes 16 of them now.

Iraq

Iraq is widely considered to be the worst blunder in IS history yet it only cost a few thousand American lifes compared to the 100k+ and counting on the Russian aide. Bringing it up here does Russia no favour.

almost identical to Cuba

If Putin was actually looking out for the interest of Russia he would have actually acted like the USA and followed the threat of invasion with negotiations. Of course unlike with Cuba there was actual threat to Russian security that justified those measures.

snake

This "snake" was almost "braindead" and increasingly considered obsolete and is now revitalized thanks to the war. I am sure this will convince the average Russian... until he looks at a map and sees that the Baltic Sea has become NATO sea and and how close St. Petersburg is now to NATO territory.

land worth trillions

Land they factually controlled before the invasion (and in better shape too). The main point though is that Russia already had plenty of land. What it does not have is money to develop it and people to live on it. The war has diminished those ressources even further.

+ a hostile population which will resist Moscow at every turn!

After attack on a commercial tanker, Dmitry Medvedev published the following:

"Bastards and freaks understand only cruelty and force.

Apparently, the strikes on Odessa, Izmail, etc. are not enough for them.

If the Kiev scum want to create an ecological disaster in the Black Sea, they should get it on that part of their territory that will soon fall to Poland and that will stink for centuries after that.

That will be the ultimate grain deal solution for them....."

Banderites actually do not care who to stab - the Lechs, or Moscals, but the Lechs will be a much more accessible target, if Duda will achieve one of his goals and go down in history as leader that returned Kresy Wschodnie to Poland. Let's not discuss how long it will last, but it will be funny to see that the slaughterers of the indigenous population of one NATO country will be fully supported from the Trudeau Banderite sanctuary in another NATO country. ;)

Sounds like the russian people are starting to get dose of reality with the Ukrainian drone strikes in Moscow.
Lot of public protest going on in russia.
I hope Poland is paying attention to who is aiding their enemy.
russia appears to be moving forward with plans to buy artillery ammunition from North Korea, citing declassified U.S. intelligence documents.

What? ;) In your fantasies maybe or in your beloved MSM propaganda?

What I really see that many of "conscription runners" return back... And from personal contacts, with shift in mindset, favorable for Russia and Putin.

Best target for such attacks. Let's see how Russians fight without fuel.
Eventually, when the Kerch bridge is taken out of service for good and more tankers start sinking.

All good things come to those who wait.

and followed the threat of invasion with negotiations

Hey, genius, did you ever try to negotiate in an empty room? The March meeting was canceled because the two worst warmongers wanted war, not peace.

Your country's role is actually more disgusting. You are not making money the way US MIC does, but still support this crap.

This was your moment for redemption and a chance to tell both the American and the British scum to go fu*ck themselves, but you, like an obedient poodle on the leash, happily went along barking...and decided to help kill Russians. I guess killing 27 million of them way back was not enough...

BTW, don't give me any sh*it that Russia had to be stopped so Russians would not occupy Berlin again.

Are you, Germans, capable of shame? Why am I a better German than you?

1. If you are happy, I wish to reminder that commercial ships attacks can be game for two. Or even multi-player game. What if LNG tanker, on the way to polish re-gazification terminal, will get something cummulative right into one of cryogenic reservoirs?

2. Stupido, this tanker was in ballast from Mediterranean to get load of oil, not to deliver one to Russia.
