Poland should have a politician like him. Take care of his country first.
Lol, Ironside, you're so dumb it's sometimes hilarious, sometimes painful to watch.
Orban wants to be a dictator, like Putin or Xi. He's also very corrupt. The problem is, he leads a country in Europe, member of NATO and the EU. Both organizations (EU more, NATO less, but still) don't look kindly to autocrats who abolish free media, tamper with election results and massively embezzle state funds.
So he strengthenes some ties with Russia and China to show the West he has alternatives. Of course, in reality he does not, trade between Hungary and Russia/China is only a small percentage of trade Hungary has with EU. German investments alone in Hungary are larger than Russia and China's altogether. Like every politician with a drop of realism he knows Hungary won't be successful without cooperation with the West. That's why the sole purpose of his romance with eastern dictatorships is to strengthen his bargaining position within the EU and US.
