When? Poland delivered old Soviet equipment to Ukraine and then requested reimbursement from the European Peace funds. That is not what making sacrifices means.

Poland needs to step up and deliver new equipment worth 2 bn each year to Ukraine without incentive from Bruessels. That is what leadership means.

Telling our German members such basic things about politics in any country is like telling an adult person that the earth revolves around the sun. Can`t you do any better? Stop treating them like idiots.


And quite correctly coz nearly 300 tanks, a few dozen artillery pieces and a lot of other armament were a substantial part of our land forces. If Russia struck right after we had sent them to Ukraine, we would have had a problem.

If Russia had managed to overrun Ukraine despite the latter receiving those weapons, then they would have hardly made a difference in the first place. Poland would have needed to modernize its' armed forces anyway and sending them to Ukraine where they were used to fight Russians instead of the junkyard was more effective.

Poland did its' part in the first year and then increasingly dropped out. This war will probably drag on for many more years and we need everyone to contribute accordingly. Especially when it is so cost-effective.

And don't get me started on showing leadership.

Germany started slow, but is now showing real leadership on Ukraine. Approving more and more aid, signing a security agreement with Ukraine, paving their way into the EU membership program, encouraging German defense companies to invest into Ukraine by guaranteeing their investment. Rheinmetall just announced that they will build another factory in Ukraine.

Poland came to fruitation due to expansion of HRE, a United western Slavic country. Germany as a modern state came out as a necessaty due to internal power struggle within HRE and invasions by Sweden and France.

I think it is in both Poland's and Germany's interest keep their backs safe so as to focus on other neighbours elsewhere. I think it worked very well for German population and Polish population in the crownlands throughout centuries before ideological conflicts took a very stern root with peoples and rulers minds

The general rule of cooperation would be simple if there is a conflict of interest when it comes to a firm, they either left to a fair free market competition or the lines redrawn on both sides, tit for tat, with no interference in Poland developing its infrastructure, nor interference into internal Polish affairs and Poland can promise the same.

It is not that complicated after all. However, when money, greed, and prejudice are at play is not that easy to implement.

That`s exactly your problem. You are heavily troubled with your silly nationalism and refuse to see and accept anything outside it. If Russians promised to you that Polish nationalists like you would be allowed to rule Poland after a successful invasion, you would happily grab the opportunity to get rid of all people and ideas you hate.

If I believed that, I would not request more support from Poland. If we want Ukraine to prevail, we need every European country to step up.


If I thought so little of Poland, I would not bother to write on this Forum. I have great sympathy for Poland and I am eager to see it live up to its' potential. Which admittedly made the last 8 of self-sabotage via PiS all the more frustrating, but it looks like that there may be hope yet.

The thing about Johnson is news to me and is a sad thing, however what they're actually up to on that side of the house (and who's behind it) is fairly obvious.
