Ukraines First Lady has declined Bidens invitation to attend his State of the Union. A nice way to say fvck you to sleepy Joe, and at the same time a nice way to show congress how Ukraine feels about them not sending more money. Meanwhile, Trump rolled to victory on Super Tuesday and is just short of having the delegates needed for the Republican nomination. With the USSC keeping Trump on the ballot in all 50 states, November is going to get very interesting very quickly. RFK still in the running is expected to announce he is getting on more State ballots in the coming days as well. RFK also saying he would end the war in Ukraine and tear down the MIC on top of that. How do Democrats continue to support the Biden agenda that has clearly failed, and the idea that continuing the war in Ukraine is good? It simply is not rational.

Meanwhile, two years into the war Russia has destroyed its first HIMARS unit or possibly two depending on who you believe. More reports of Russian ground gains along the entire line, and still no mobilization by Z. No matter how many ships Ukraine sinks in the Black Sea, if you cant stop soldiers from crossing front lines, you cant push those same units back to where they came.

Not a great idea.

If MIC stands for military industrial complex, it certainly won't happen.

I see some of you know nothing about how the Kennedy family thinks, or what got JFK and RFK killed. RFK jr. has a very strong platform that appeals to most of the younger voters. He is certainly a more moderate choice than Trump, and a lot smarter than Biden. The money spent on needless wars is in the trillions. Tearing it down, or shrinking it for domestic production of defensive weapons makes a lot of sense. Setting it up as a sales center to other countries, and stopping spending on other contries makes a whole lot of sense to a lot of people. You want weapons? Great. Pay for them. You want or are in a war? Pay for them. The US financing of other countries problems is coming to an end one way or another.

What about the workers?

And the shareholders thought obviously that's less important.

But, by all means 'shrink' it and stop exporting. There's plenty of capacity (and a need for jobs) elsewhere.

If you were her would you want to be in the same room as pro-russian Michael Johnson and have to be polite to him?

Ukraine realized _months_ ago (long before your heel turn) that the US was not invested in Ukrainian victory and merely wants to tie down russia to prevent it from moving into the Baltics and Poland and keeps aid to the bare minimum need to do that (wrongly thinking that a weakened russia will be less aggressive..... it won't).

Meanwhile.... is there any way for you to share your strategic insights with the Ukrainian government? They've outperfomed on virtually ever bit of help they've gotten but clearly they need your broader perspective.

She turned Biden down, not Johnson. So, its not a snub to Johnson. Johnson, if you were investigating, is preparing a Ukraine aid package not tied to the border. There is no shortage of support for Ukraine in Congress, only a shortage of support for Bidens plans to keep allowing illegal immigration. I am shocked that is lost on such an astute politcal tactician such as yourself.

Outperfromed? If you call a failed counter offensive outperforming, the clearly we have different definitions. They have certainly outperformed in the efficient needless killing of their own men on the front lines of late. They have absolutely outperformed in the corruption department. With that kind of success, it is a wonder why more countries have not adopted the Ukraine style of military and economic leadership.

I was interested to find the origin of that term as used about the German army. I always assumed it was an old WW1 slur so was quite surprised to learn that the origin was a speech made by the Kaiser before that.

And now the excuse of no air support? Interesting. How Russian air superiority has not been a deterining factor in any of their gains. Several here have pointed out the multiple kills of airplanes of Russia's. More like wasted resources on non strategic positions along with wasted lives of Ukraine men. Johnson did not make the invitation, and it is not his State of the Union, its Biden's address and his invitation that was shot down. Dont go all leftist press core on us now and try twisting facts.

And this is the leader of the free world. This is the US president you want making decisions on how to help Ukraine? Ground offensives the previous spring or summer had less air cover and took back huge portions of land. Dont make excuses for Ukraine incompetence and bad use of men and materials.

I dont' want either Biden or Trump.... but the country is too fragmented, dispirited to come up with someone less than 145 years old or someone who's had a new idea in the last 84 years....

US politics has degraded to the level of professional wrestling.... biden and trump growling at each other and each side accusing the other of destroying democracy.... a shameful shambles....

Praying for luck for Kennedy. He may have some different ways of thinking, but he is smarter and more balanced than either alternative. The Democratic party fvcked up not allowing him to challenge for the nomination. Biden cannot win against Trump this time, Kamala wont get women out to vote, and if Trump takes a black VP, then it is over for Biden.

Trump already has enough of the Black vote and we know that a soft-spoken Christian with common sense is not Trumps cup of tea.
