As US congress passed another funding bill without Ukraine aid, there is now talk about supplying aid in the form of loans. This is a good idea and would actually be a real investment that Ukraine would have to pay back at some point. These loans would be non military in nature, but Ukraine could spend the money how they want. No free handouts in this way, and Ukraine could probably take the next 50 years to pay back these loans.

Now Sikorski in Poland is talking about how it is not unthinkable to send troops to Ukraine. I really liked this guy before he made this stupid statement. Wanting to support ofther EU leaders who are talking out of their a$$es is just stupid. WTF is Poland, Czech, Slovakia and France going to do, send men to Ukraine to start a world war? To deliberately invite attacks here? Keep Putin guessing is the strategy? Right. Putin will just start launching bombs on cities the second another country enters Ukraine with men. Then Belarus enters, and all hell breaks loose.

Western countries were psyched out by Kremlin empty threats about "red lines" and every time a red line was crossed nothing happened (beyond a few more missiles aimed at civilian targets for a day or two).

This is pushback... russia will never just give up or negotiate it has to be backed into a corner with no wiggle room.... russia responds to real strength... respectually and it sh7ts all over efforts to avoid 'escalation'.

WTF are you talking about strength? These armies of these countries are so small that everything would have to be trown into Ukraine to even come close to making a difference. One well placed missile strike from Russia into one of these countries capitols and these idiots would either run back home or cry to the US to send troops. It is Ukraines war, not Polands or anyone else's. This kind of talk is for fools with a death wish. Anyone actually thinking Putin is afraid of the EU alone is not playing with a full deck. The only countries he is afraid of are China, India and the US. And he only has to worry about one of those three.

Turkey once again offering to hold peace talks. Thats not coming from Turkey, thats a signal from Moscow that its time to get to the table. Russia is making serious gains, and if they have just one major breakthrough, Kiev will fall.

Have you been to Chicago, Philli or Baltimore recently? Denver, NY, Phoenix, SF or LA? If you havent, then allow me to to say from first hand experience in five of those cities in the last 16 months, they are incredibly dangerous. When Russia breaks the agreement like NATO promised Russia not to expand, and not to go into Ukraine specifically? Like that? If Ukraine does not negotiate, Russia will eventually over run the entire country without US money and weapons. Thats just a fact and a matter of time. When you dont mobilize the whole country and dont switch to a war time economy when you're being invaded, you are just fvcking stupid.

As for bombing and turning it into a ghost town? You are only missing out on the bombings. Plenty of areas are ghost towns except for drug adicts and homeless. Replace bombings for murders, robbery and rapes and you are pretty much even. This in the country that is supposed to lead the world?! There are not tens of thousands, there are an estimated 22 million illegals in the US over the last three years who are absolutely destroying the country. You've now reached the stage of acceptance. You fully accept the russian narrative that it has the right to all of Ukrainian territory and will doubtless simply decamp to the US when they demand the return of Polish lands to russia (or demands the right of veto of a Polish government)

And I still don't understand the logic of using American domestic failure to abandon Ukraine.... the US is easily able to fix many of its problems but neither party wants to Daddy Trump will not build a wall, Johnson will find a way to make sure the flow of illegals continues. The wording may change but Dms and Rpb are united on that.

The US has never once told Ukraine not to mobilize. Not once. Every politician in the US has, and continues to question why Ukraine has not mobilized. I dont buy anyones narrative.
