Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 9

Novichok

I hope all Western volunteers will die painful and slow deaths unless they leave Russia and start shooting migrants as they attempt to land in Western Europe.

Then I will be proud of them and will wish them the very best.

But we have a perfectly good peace proposal already:

Playing a cute idiot after 500,000 Ukrainian men are dead or disabled is sick. But, since you are Polish and safe on my dime, I am not surprised...

Ukrainians en masse on social networks spit and insult the Holy Father in the most primitive ways.

I would definitely prefer that Ukrainians spat on the Holy Father in more sophisticated ways, but on this matter Comrade Bergoglio might not be entirely wrong. Is peace such a terrible thing? Even if the conditions of it are not perfect?

I would really like to hear from those "spitting Ukrainians" about their plan B. I mean, let's assume for a moment that Ukraine doesn't win the war, the Crimea remains Russian, the invading hordes are not pushed back behind 1991 borders, Putin doesn't die of one of the dozen cancers that he has etc. etc. - you're caching my drift. What then? What's their plan B? Everyone needs a plan B, right?

Right? ...

Is peace such a terrible thing?

Ask russia this is an entirely one-sided conflict they started it they're maintaining it and not a thing in the world (beyond primitive imperial hubris) is preventing them from returning to their own country.

What's their plan B?

Plan A hasn't run its course despite the uptick in bots shouting 'victory!' a bunch of russian bots and shills saying the same thing is not the same as reality.....

It's such a mystery why Latvians don't want russians in their country... who doesn't want foreigners who refuse to learn the local language and call you nazi when you do use it?

Plan A hasn't run its course

So why don't you and your NAFO twitter buddies give us a timeline on when Plan A (regaining the territories captured by Russia) is deemed a success or faliure. 2025? 2028? Or would you like another 30 year war in Europe sir?

the uptick in bots shouting 'victory!'

Even Ukraine admits the situation is grim.

the Holy Father

An Argie clergyman who runs a religious denomination that is haemorrhaging members.

He should perhaps ask r*SSia to have the courage to withdraw their illegal and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.

He's the best Bishop of Rome in a century however he's wrong on this.

The Pope goes also on the list

Lauren Witzke
@LaurenWitzkeDE

In an attempt to spare hundreds of thousands of Christian lives, the Pope called for Zelensky to finally surrender to Russia and Ukraine responded by adding the Pope to their kill list.

Now please explain to me why the leftist anti Russian socialists here complain about the vast majority of American citizens are angry about the illegal immigration problem? When these people, criminals, drug addicts and other low life scum are somehow suposed to be allowed in the US illegaly but this Russian in Latvia should be kicked out.

Ukraine has publicly said, several times, without more US aid, they are fvcked. Every day they lose ground and men. What to the fight to the last Ukrainian people have to see before you admit it is better to have peace talks?

mafketis

u admit it is better to have peace talks?

It's not 'better' it's a chance for russia to rearm and attack again... they say so openly. I want to hear what the plan is when they do invade again... without that there's no point

illegal immigrationsomehow suposed to be allowed in the US illegaly but this Russian in Latvia should be kicked out

I'm in favor of border controls and mass deportations of those with no right to be in the US so I'm not sure who you're talking about. The current situation has a bipartisan origin (reagan's amnesty began the ball rolling and inevitably lead to the bi-partisan DREAM Act) and subsequent incentives to get to the US and wait to be legalized

and I trust neither party unless they have clear legislative solutions...

But this is less a party issue than a class issue and until people recognize that.... not much is going to happen.

without more US aid, they are fvcked. Every day they lose ground and men

If the US abandons Ukraine then it will abandon Poland.

RUSSIAN ARMY CONTINUES TO TRACK AND ELIMINATE MERCENARIES FIGHTING FOR KIEV

The Russian military has been actively tracking and eliminating foreign mercenaries fighting for the Kiev regime across the special military operation zone in Ukraine.

On March 10, Donetsk head's advisor Igor Kimakovsky told the TASS news agency that the Russian intelligence services have unveiled a group of foreign mercenaries in the area of the settlements of Tonenkoye and Orlovka near the city of Avdeevka in the Donetsk direction.

"Our intelligence has registered a group of foreign mercenaries near Tonenkoye and Orlovka," he said.

Representatives of Poland and Georgia work at this front sector near the battle contact line, according to live recording data, Kimakovksy added.

A day earlier, TASS reported that French neo-Nazi leader Cesar Aujard was eliminated by the Russian military close to the strategic city.

ca

"A ringleader of French neo-Nazis, Cesar Augharome, who was taking part in hostilities on the side of the Ukrainian army, has been liquidated near Avdeevka," security sources told the Russian news agency.

@mafketis
It is also a chance for Ukraine to re-arm and prepare defenses. It buys time for Ukraine to get into the EU, and create security guarantees for the future, while stopping a generation from being killed. It saves lives everywhere, and sets an international example of Ukraine acting intelligently and saying its people are more important that some land.

My comments on the border were meant to challenge those who will support deporting this woman but not illegals entering the US. IMO, the US border should be slammed shut, period. No one gets in without proper applications and processing. No exceptions. The same policy Poland has taken and it has been very successful in protecting Poles.

The US will not abandon Poland. Too many Poles in the US and too many with Polish heritage in the US. US Polish Dispora wrote to Tusk just the other day telling him to not enter Ukraine under any circumstances and to end the war. Trump, as $hitty as he is, gave the visa waiver program to Poland. The ties that bing the US and Poland together are many. Economic ties, and political ties are deep. If the US abandoned Poland you would see riots in the streets of Chicago, NY, Con., MI, NJ and other places. I would not want to be the president who does that, or the party that is responsbile for it.

I am not be so sure of that, American Polonia letter was filled with Russian propaganda talking points. I wouldn't be surprised if top American Polonia leadership has let itself become influenced by Russian intelligence. If they have been influenced, then so can rest of America.

Poland needs to have a defence/geostrategic plan excluding U.S.A cause of this in my opinion.

I doubt they're organised enough to have a top leadership as such. They have various advocacy groups however they are disparate and mostly assimilated.

@Mr Grunwald
I can see how you may think that. I belong to two Polish groups in the US. People would be impressed with how many Americans with Polish roots actually follow the news and events that effect Poland very closely. There are many communities you can go to where a large majority of residents have some Polish ancestry and they are considered valuable groups of voters.

I agree Poland should have a plan without the US. But that plan needs to focus on building military numbers a lot more quickly than they are. All the equipment ordered is great, but again, if no one is there to drive a tank or operate a missile system, you have hardware collecting dust. Poland in my opinion could do a lot by trying to incentivise those with Polish ancestry to return to Poland and claim citizenship. Create a real program for former US military with Polish ancestry and you could probably start training and building a lot more quickly.

Mr Grunwald
11 Mar 2024  #2748

nd mostly assimilated.

My point excactly, not only the supposed most pro-Poland group in the U.S.A, but also one very deeply Linked with American society. If they have forsaken Poland at the cost of Ukraine for the sake of Russia. One can only expect that rest of American society will or already follows suit. Republican voices only underlines this summary.

Create a real program

You are expecting competence, intelligence and long-term thinking from current rulers in Poland? You honestly think Tusk would even consider to start a program to attain quality workers and those qualified to move to Poland? Not only would it increase PiS voter base but, potentially Konfederacja's voter base as Americans tend to be more on the right then Europe in general. Not only that, it would most likely include those who are dissatisfied with America as it is of today the most.

It would be like shooting himself in the foot politically, and he knows it. He would do everything in his powers to prevent that if anything.

Besides, it would also create competition and problems for him AND his voter base on an economical level.

It's a pipe dream

Americans with Polish roots, do not see Ukraine as anything more than a money pit. Where as Poland is seen as being special. When the Solidarity movement began and when John Paul became Pope, large parts of the US were very attentive. I agree on Tusk though, anything interfering with greater assimilation with the EU will not go well with him. PiS fvcked up a lot of things, but they did a few things very well. Still, the United States under Biden has disassembled the the largest, and most experienced military in the world over the last three years. There are a lot of men and women that could help in Poland that are now either retired military, or simply unemployed veterans. It could get more Poles interested in military service if more experienced people were helping to train them.

For the love of god, there are many other threads about illegal immigrants.

If you want to then build a wall, deport them, imprison them or whatever, just get it into your heads that the rest of the world does not care about it.

I could understand you all getting so upset about immigrants if you were true 8th generation Chicagoans like Oprah, Kanye, Scottie Pippen or Michelle Obama.

But given that you or your parents all grew up somewhere round Rzeszow why do these Mexicans bother you so much ?

This thread is about Udmurtia's illegal invasion of peaceful neighbors.

PolAmKrakow

@krupnyk
Most Americans do not understand what a Slav is and only go back to the country of their family origin. Repsectfully though, I dont see all Slavs as being able to be put into one common group. There are big differences between Poles and Ukraine people.

@cms neuf
Why be upset about immigration? Because some of us have had to go through the immigration process legally to live where we do. These people are breaking the law, and Biden is helping them break the law. Poland has great immigration policy, so why shouldnt the US copy it?

For the love of god, there is no invasion.
Russians are just liberating Russia from the remnants of the UA - the real aggressor - while trying to minimize civilian casualties.

If you love Poland, go there and die for "freedom and democracy". One less idiot will improve the average Polish IQ.
