Yes, a vintage T-34 that we bought back from Laos.

The other tanks are... busy.

Although, in Rostov there was a T-90M and a BTR-82AT at the parade. I'm sure in some other cities more modern tanks made an appearance too.

I don't watch the parades, not my cup of tea. At the same time - I love the Bastille Day parades in France - cuz they happen on my birthday.

In return for the T-34s, we transferred to Laos some T-72s and other modern weapons.

Honestly I was really surprised that in all of Russia we could not find 30 T-34s in decent condition.

Also, kind of amazed at how the Laotians managed to keep these tanks in working condition for such a long time.

I am not arguing....am just interested how the same people who ridicule western MSM on every point, let's say their woke stance, may unconditionally believe all this constructed BS about Russia, BS constructed by the same MSM? I have only one explanation of this curious fact. They simply viscerally hate Russia and Russians, they are russophobic somewhat at their grass roots. So why we, Russian, shouldn't think about them the same way then?

I would certainly lie if i say this does not bother me. It brings some bitterness and bitterness, by itself, is causing some numbness, especially towards all europeans. Figment of your imagination, Kostya. I've spent most of my life in Poland - allegedly the most russophobic country in the Solar System - and I am yet to meet someone who would genuinely hate Russia. Maybe there are some people in other countries who are Russophobic, but remember that "phobia" means fear, and you invade your neighbours and threaten them with nukes, so this fear is somewhat justified (not every nation is capable of shi*ting on your nukes like Poles are).

Actually, taking everything into account, I would say that we are the last bastion of genuine Russophilia in the world.

You are amateurs in this regard compared to Poland. We had settlers from the Netherlands, Italy and Scotland and all their descendants are proper Poles (only some place names like "Szkoty" remain as historic evidence of the settlements), not to mention all the German, Russian, Tatar or Jewish Poles whose origin you can guess only by their surname (and not always - some of them polonized their names).


The best friend of my 5-year-old is Ivan from Ukraine, and they are constantly plotting how to defeat Russia together ha ha
And I am from a family which maternal side survived (barely) UPA massacres. How ironic can history be sometimes.
