The money will be used to pay for American made weapons, in other words subsidize American jobs. Other countries will buy even more American weapons. Defeating Russia will benefit the USA in its struggle with China, since Russia is China's most valuable pawn and increase American prestige with its' European and Asian allies.

So far, it's the US aid that is destroying Ukraine. Without that aid, Z would meet P in April 2022, and agree to Putin's three conditions:

1: Crimea belongs to Russia
2. Ukraine stays neutral
3. Russians must be treated well

Ukrainians will eventually accept Putin's deal except with a lot fewer of them being able to enjoy going home.
