Now you being dumb on purpose. The war in Yugoslavia meant serious destabilization of South-Eastern Europe, waves of war refugees and a bloody conflict on the outskirts of Italy and Greece. It could not be ignored by the West. Yugoslavia was the first post WW2 major conflict in Europe. And NATO helped stopping it.

Please. You aren`t lawyer of theirs. Who knows why they offered their lives. Complete human history is history of war. Or suicide and madness. Or ideals. So, what they could do then turn to Russia. Russia can provide everything. Who else? The crazy USA and cretenic France could`t offer them nothing. Totally impotent for all to see. Unable to provide even decent death.

Besides, who says they won`t get money? No matter that they don`t need money now.

Germans are strange, for sure... but these Serbs - they are most confusing of all.

I am genuinely curious what process is occurring in their brains?

Russia maybe did some bad things to Poland. It did bad things to Czechs and Hungarians. There are reasons why Romanians and Finns may not like us. Even our Central Asian "brothers", have enough legitimate complaints....

But the Serbs??? We never did a bad thing to them, but only nonstop good - which came at a heavy, heavy cost. For Serbia, Russia is like America is for Israel.

We constantly stick our neck out for these guys.

Their behavior is truly puzzling.

"Maybe" did some bad things to Poland and no such reservation in case of Czechs or Hungarians?

Have you ever backstabbed and partitioned Czechia or Hungaria? Have you quenched several independence uprising there and slaughtered thousands of civilians in their capital cities? Have you rolled your Red Army through their countries actually fighting THEIR armies, like you did to Poland in 1920 and 1939? I demand you remove this "maybe".

Czechs are not of our flesh. Hungarians are total strangers. That's why I was more liberal in apportioning blame there.

Poles are our own. Misunderstandings happen. Excesses occur.

P.S. If these Serbians think that through their "outward" displays of loyalty, they earned some place higher than Poles they are absolutely wrong. They did themselves worse, than they started out. I hate to talk this way, but if they continue like this, then one day somebody will come and teach Serbia a lesson they will not soon forget.
