Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 12

They are fat burghers.

A fat distant cousin is still a cousin.

We will be together, unto the end of history.

♥️

Yes, you are Borg just like us. The question remains: who will assimilate whom. :)

They did themselves worse, than they started out.

Hmm... better a good, honest, tried-out enemy than a false friend, I suppose.

When you learn to love like us, to fight like us, to sacrifice like us, then you can claim the mantle of "older brother".

then you can claim the mantle of "older brother"

Well, technically we are older. But let's not drag the thread off-topic too much.

We started out almost at the same time, stop it.

Never heard of Lech, Czech, and Rus?

Torq

We started out almost at the same time,

As we say in Polish: 'prawie' robi wielką różnicę.

Czech

The same Czech that you just called a fat burgher and kicked out of Sarmatian Club?

You are not yourself today, brate. ;)

These Serbians with their fake proclamations of eternal love and loyalty have gotten to me.

I wish they would just shut up instead, and send more men, or at least stop sending weapons to Ukraine.

@Torq
He is in sorrow over current state of affairs
I understand it perfectly. Potentially Even a bit mad, bubbling underneath a calm surface.

If he then would fully understand that U.S.A despite her actions need a powerfull Russia. Would only make it more problematic

They're not fake.

Serbs are probably the only nation in the world who proclaims love to both Poles and Russians. This alone can give one severe schizophrenia but they have somehow managed it for centuries. Don't be too harsh on them.

U.S.A despite her actions need a powerfull Russia

Sure. Russia will be OK. All is good in the universe, as a little bird told me.

Don't be too harsh on them.

Very well, will acquiesce to your wisdom in this singular case. But I'm not holding my breath.

Have you rolled your Red Army through their countries actually fighting THEIR armies,

You? Who is you?

Russia doesn't have to apologize for anything before 1990 just as Americans don't have to apologize for slavery and the Civil War.

Sure. Russia will be OK. All is good in the universe, as a little bird told me.

No, Russia is £ucked! They have taken a gamble too far and will not be a threat to the west for another decade and if the west is sensible enough to increase spending on defence, they will never be a threat again.

Russia doesn't have to apologize for anything before 1990

Wrong! How about occupying Eastern Europe for nearly 50 years?

No, a bit like a peacemaker or a key to long-awaited Slavic unity one day.

Why are you being obnoxious?

Serbians see the bigger picture. In average, they are better informed then Poles and Russians. Its our location, our history, our spiritual ways closest to the ancients.

Torq, have in mind that Serbians culturally, in early middle age (and much much before that) influenced Slavs of today`s Poland and Russia. Have in mind that 18 Roman emperors of classical antiquity war born here. Have in mind that it was Iliryan (shtokavian speaking Serbs) rebellion that effectively ended and broke in two the Roman Empire. Have in mind that Serbians were military elite of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Have in mind that Russian Tzar Ivan the Terrible has direct Serbian lineage. Same as Polish Jadwiga. That Empress Catherine the Great was a Lusatian Serbian and had special relations to the Serbians from Balkan.

When you look at acts of Polish and Russian rulers, you will note their clear desperation, frustration and wrath whenever Serbia was under occupation by the foreign force. For some and many reasons, they wanted to see Serbia live.

Nothing is simple in case with Serbians and Serbia. Here is the old core and element that combine and provide balance to one entire civilization.

Very interesting for your attention

Aleksandar Dugin: Rozumiem Polaków

O całym szeregu kwestii, w tym tych o Polsce, która to wg polskojęzycznych mediów dla dzisiejszego gościa "nie ma prawa istnieć", z prof. Aleksandrem Duginem rozmawia Mateusz Piskorski.

Thank you for this valuable history lesson, predostojany brate.

I've always said that Serbia is the heart of Slavia and every Sarmat - no matter if a fat Czech burgher or a hungry Russian steppe wolf - should spend obligatory 2-weeks holidays in Serbia every year, just to restore his Slavic soul to default settings.

Never trust in propaganda of late arrival of the Slavs to their lands in Europe. Those Ilyrans were Sarmatians. In official communication with representatives of Serbians, Austrian and AH authorities even literately named Serbians as Iliryans. 18 Roman Emperors born in Serbia telling much of rather symbiotic relationship between Rome and Sarmatians (Serbians). Rather that then subjugation. Sure, in time Italic element prevailed in politics.

Now, add to this picture facts that Balkan Serbs were, by the Rome itself, considered (you have that in Catholic online encyclopedia) overlords to the other Slavs. Here was center of our civilization. Poland and Russia were far periphery.

Here was center of our civilization. Poland and Russia were far periphery.

Just like the USA was once a far periphery of Britain.

However, the times changed and the power of Slavia now lies in Poland (for Europe) and Russia (for Asia). I see the task of Serbs, as guardians of ancient roots, to act as a middle man and figure out a way to reconcile Russians and Poles somehow.

A nearly impossible job, I know, but I have faith in our Serbian predostojani bratia.

There is nothing puzzling about Serbia hedging it's bets - they can see outright North Nigerian victory is unlikely and that Putin will be so weakened by the war that they will have to pull back from foreign policy anyway.

In the meantime they need EU money and they can see their neighbors in Romania and Croatia getting richer and having easier lives

reconcile Russians and Poles

Why do that?

Torq
3 Jul 2024  #652

Why

Better than being enemies forever, no?

AntV
3 Jul 2024  #653

Confidence in Zelenskyy has declined significantly in some countries since 2023 - most notably in Ukraine's neighboring country of Poland. Among Poles, 48% have confidence in Zelenskyy, down from 70% in 2023 (-22 points). Confidence in him has also decreased by double digits in South Korea (-15) and South Africa (-12). Decreases are smaller but still statistically significant in Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the U.S.

pewresearch.org/global/2024/07/02/confidence-in-zelenskyy-and-support-for-ukraine

The confidence and amount of support numbers from Poland surprised me. I thought they'd be higher.

Better than being enemies forever, no?

russians don't do reconciliation....

Until and unless russian society changes drastically and russia catches up to the current century (and there are no signs whatsoever of that happening) nothing but guarded peaceful antagonism is possible.

It is what it is.

Lithuania, is bolstering its defenses amidst growing concerns of a potential Russian attack, as tensions rise between the West and Moscow.
Does Putin think he has big enough balls to attack a NATO country while biden is in office ?
The window is closing on him to do it.
The country is putting in place an evacuation of citizen's plan.
Poland, get ready for a surge of war refugees.
Blueberries will be the last of your problems.

Torq

of a potential Russian attack

Poland is already under orchestrated Russian attack of directed streams of migrants that flow into Poland from Belarus. A hybrid war is a war nonetheless.

It's a well known антропоток plan developed by Russian strategists to destabilize chosen countries, and it started - which is worth emphasising - before the invasion of Ukraine in 2022. So, it's not a Russian response to Polish aid to Ukraine but a separate malicious putinist hybrid attack against our country.

First of all, I feel reluctant for my country to be enriched by nationalist murderers.
