So, a bit like a W£ore then?Or a $lut?
No, a bit like a peacemaker or a key to long-awaited Slavic unity one day.
Serbians see the bigger picture. In average, they are better informed then Poles and Russians. Its our location, our history, our spiritual ways closest to the ancients.
Torq, have in mind that Serbians culturally, in early middle age (and much much before that) influenced Slavs of today`s Poland and Russia. Have in mind that 18 Roman emperors of classical antiquity war born here. Have in mind that it was Iliryan (shtokavian speaking Serbs) rebellion that effectively ended and broke in two the Roman Empire. Have in mind that Serbians were military elite of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Have in mind that Russian Tzar Ivan the Terrible has direct Serbian lineage. Same as Polish Jadwiga. That Empress Catherine the Great was a Lusatian Serbian and had special relations to the Serbians from Balkan.
When you look at acts of Polish and Russian rulers, you will note their clear desperation, frustration and wrath whenever Serbia was under occupation by the foreign force. For some and many reasons, they wanted to see Serbia live.
Nothing is simple in case with Serbians and Serbia. Here is the old core and element that combine and provide balance to one entire civilization.
