Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 12

Putin would be an idiot to take this bait. That plane he would be on might have an emergency and be forced to land in any NATO country.

That is BS Johnny Reb. Putin does not have to be on Russia's negotiation team. And the ICC is the biggest joke dog and pony show ever. Even the USA does not recognize the sad hacks that make it up.

This conference is a joke anyway. A simple waste of time. At this point either negotiate what countries are gonna participate in war with their military or negotiate a peace with Russia directly. Who cares what countries in Switzerland signed, they aren't going to enforce anything anyway...

This conference is a joke anyway.

But a necessary one. It shows Ukrainian willingness for dialogue (and unwillingness to change internationally recognized borders).

And putain's 'offer' was roundly ridiculed by everyone....

A "peace conference" with just one side

It was never a peace conference.

Even the USA does not recognize

Yet there are a number of war criminals from there, especially associated with the My Lai Massacre who are afraid to travel abroad since they would be arrested at most of the world's airports and taken to The Hague.

And putain's 'offer' was roundly ridiculed by everyone..

It wasn't so much an offer as digging deeper in the face of increased Ukrainian firepower.

Putin does not have to be on Russia's negotiation team

Putin would never show up at a peace conference, if only it wasn't to execute a document. There have to be many sessions between the diplomatic boffins, before he would ever show up.

no will on the side of Russia to end the war and I don't really know what their actual goal is

Putin made a proposal - what is that if not an indication of what our goals are?

I think the plan for this year is:

1) Active offensive operations throughout the Summer, in an attempt to set ourselves up for further success in the Fall. Nothing huge, but continuous advancement from the existing Ocheretino salient towards Pokrovsk in an attempt to sever Ukrainian ground lines of communication in that theater.

2) Another fixing operation somewhere in the Sumy or Chernigov areas, to draw further UA reserves away from the Donbass.

3) Continued strikes on Ukrainian critical infrastructure, with the exception of nuclear power plants.

Out of these - I think the strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure are the most important.

Zelensky says as much, when he tells his allies that anti-air defenses are the "number 1" priority. This is why Scholz has practically stripped Germany of air defenses, with his recent further commitments. It's why Biden is rushing Patriot missiles to Ukraine, etc, etc.

Ukraine will be hard pressed to survive the coming Winter. Already terrible popular morale, will collapse into the dumps - hopefully.

This war won't be resolved on the battlefield this year, but there's a good chance a diplomatic resolution will occur instead.

We need to keep piling problems on Zelensky. On top of mobilization, on top of collapsing incomes, on top of flood-like emigration, on top of energy starvation, and total corruption.

If we bury him politically, then the job at the front will also become easier.

think the plan for this year is:

I think this war will last for a while. Nowhere can you test new generation autonomous drones or combat robots so well. Gaza is not enough. Military technology is making a great leap forward. I'm afraid there will be no peace for now.

Military technology is making a great leap forward

Despite all the jokes in this thread and elsewhere, this war will provide enormous export opportunities for Russia if we are able to come out of this war with sanctions removed.

If sanctions are not removed, we will likely sell less.

Who wouldn't want weapons that can stop a coalition of 40 of the richest countries in the world, at 1/5th the cost?

Who wouldn't want electronic warfare capabilities that make Western GPS-guided munitions miss?

Who wouldn't want 100 Russian tanks, instead of 25 Western tanks?

Who wouldn't want a reconnaissance drone that costs $200K, instead of $20M?

For Africa, for South America, for Asia - our weapons are perfect.

You can keep making your exquisite and "cutting edge" weapons as a money making enterprise, while we continue to make weapons that can actually win wars.

new generation autonomous drones

Ukraine has a new one, called the Stalker 5.0. Undetectable and can reach that illegal bridge that Putler built from r*SSia to occupied Ukraine.

I wouldn't want a 100 North Nigerian tanks unless I was planning a museum of crappy tanks.

As for the rest well there are not many taker for this "technology" at present so little point in answering your questions when the market already shows that nobody wants it and orders from major customers like India and former client states like Serbia are cratering.

What are you talking about "stopping a coalition of the 40 richest countries" - the opposite is true, Ukraine alone has stopped your drunken and antiquated army, about 10km from your borders.

Ukraine alone has stopped your drunken and antiquated army

That would be a big surprise to Ukraine, its population, its elected officials, its military brass, and the average soldier.

Perhaps you should apply to be Zelensky's press secretary - given your indefatigable enthusiasm for their cause?

He had several persons like you, before, and all of them eventually burnt out or were discarded once their credibility was completely eroded. However, something makes me think that you would not be much worried about losing your credibility or spreading known falsehoods.

When fighting against all of Mordor's arrayed forces of evil - the ends justify the means - ne c'est pas?

With Russia running out of ammo and men, why are Polish and German armies not liberating Ukraine as we speak?

you would not be much worried about losing your credibility or spreading known falsehoods.

Clowns - by design - have no credibility. They are just sad pathetic idiots for others to feel sorry for them.

Clowns - by design - have no credibility

This very property is what makes them such desirable assets, however.

why are Polish and German armies not liberating Ukraine as we speak?

Because both countries are preparing for the imperial Russian attack against a NATO country.

hahahaha Yes, turtle tanks for example. See above.

if we are able to come out of this war with sanctions removed.

Don`t count on it. The West won`t lift the sanctions unless you make good peace with Ukraine. And good means you withdraw from all occupied territory which you stole during this war. You can keep Crimea, though. You also have to pay the reparations.

Bobko

You can keep Crimea, though

That ship has sailed long ago.

Your chance to negotiate that was 2014.

Now the ask has been increased.

Your chance to negotiate that was 2014.

As pawian should already know by now, the first Russian offer is always the best.

pawian

chance to negotiate

There is always time for negotations. If you think you can win this war of attrition, you are mistaken. Russia will be crushed economically sooner than Ukraine militarily.

Besides, your Kharkiv offensive collapsed with amassing losses. In other areas, you conquer a village or two weekly at the cost of 1000 men daily plus dozens of armour and other.

You have lost the war and most Russians perfectly realise it.

Bobko

Russia will be crushed

If anything, they'll be toughened.

r*SSia doesn't understand quite how weak they are and how bad their situation is.

You'll probably do both.

We will eat tree bark and fashion arrows out of stone, before we give up.

The russian craving for destruction knows no bounds..... totally unable to function as a modern country it remains mired in its rotten imperial past and does its best to drag down other, more advanced, countries.

Rather than realize Ukraine has something to offer (in understanding the west) it simply wants to destroy.

I'm totally fine if russians want to eat tree bark and shoot stone arrows at each other but they should leave civilized countries alone.

Hey, Polaks, I have a question...

Hypothetically...Russia invades Poland, The US decides to defend Poland. The US Congress debates upper limits in dollars, X, and American lives, Y.

Once those limits are reached, the US will stop defending Poland.

In your Polish opinion...What should X and Y be?

What should X and Y be?

X is Polski emigrant aka Novi who didn`t come back. Y is Polski emigrant aka Iron who did come back.

They are both bad people who support Putin. Simple.

....assumed we have enough of X and especially of Y!

No...to much speculation....I have no idea...
