American Political News in relation to Poland

Never mind asking an economist- you should start by asking a high school maths student - your bizarre 16m jobs claim assumes there are no other production inputs than labor - no materials, no energy, no distribution, no taxes. And it assumes no jobs in the handling and distribution of the foreign goods.

Dirk diggler

The US needs to import only rare metals, not the Chinese slaves' labor.

That's how the US use to be - US use to be the largest exporter of finished goods and largest importer of raw materials. Now it's the opposite - most of what we export is raw materials... That change occurred in the 80s.

Rich Mazur
6 Jul 2018  #333

And that's the definition of a colony: raw stuff out, manufactured goods in. Just like Africa.

Today, the US would not be able to fight WW3 if it could not import electronics from Asia. Brilliant.

your bizarre 16m jobs claim assumes there are no other production inputs than labor - no materials, no energy, no distribution,

And, as we know so very well, materials, energy, and distribution require no Americans to extract, process, and deliver but instead, run on an autopilot all be themselves.

And then there is this service-to-manufacturing multiplier of 6 to 1. It is well established that when a town loses 100 manufacturing jobs, it loses 600 service jobs right after that. To be followed by the pathology of unemployment. If you want to know what I mean, visit Flint, Michigan. Just stay away form the water. It may kill you.

This is why high school math students are not economic advisors to Trump.

A quote: Europeans leaders worry Trump wants to fulfill promise to bring American troops home

I don't understand why the 'Europeans leaders' would worry about what Trump wants. Specifically, why would they worry about this? They have nothing but contempt for the man because he believes that he is a US president rather than a world leader. They also don't think he is reliable or worthy of their trust. He walks away from the wonderful programs that benefit humanity. With friends like that, who needs enemies?

So, instead of worrying, the EU leaders should be happy to see the Americans go home and promptly replace them with their own armies. And pray for a more anti-American president like Obama when this one is finally kicked out in 2020. To make this happen, EU should learn from the Russian trolls how to elect US presidents without ever leaving Moscow. No matter what you feel about Russia, it was a major achievement.

Because they want to have their cake and eat it too - have us protect Europe but not pay the 2% target, export European goods with a miniscule tariff but slap double digit tariffs on us imports. Trump is saying no more and they don't like it.

Because they want to have their cake and eat it too - have us protect Europe but not pay the 2% target

Let them put tariffs upon the USA and watch Trump pull our troops out.

Get them out of NK and Afghan as well.

What does NATO do for the USA anymore?

Pull your troops out and watch Germany start to build nukes - obviously in your desire to save a few bucks you have Polands best interests at heart

Rich Mazur
8 Jul 2018  #338

If it's just a few bucks, and Poland's interests are in keeping the US troops in Germany, Poland should pay for the US troops in Germany.

- have us protect Europe but not pay the 2% target,

I can't wait to have Trump bring home our troops that have sacrificed so much only to get bad mouthed for their services by the countries that they protect.

Sorry but I just can't envision these foreign brainwashed loudmouthed punks being called up by their governments to put their lives on the line, serving in their military, like the United States of America boys have especially for another allie.

The road to Switzerland will be jammed packed by foreign deserters that use to have the freedoms that the American G.I.'s provided for them.

Rich Mazur

...freedom they are now squandering at the altar of the extreme stupidity these PC suicidal morons call tolerance. What a waste of the American lives.

Trump is on his way to Europe to a Summit to let our America's allies know that it is time they start paying their fair share into NATO.

(Another campaign promise that he is keeping)
NATO IS the United States and we are tired of picking up our unfair share to protect Europe with our military.
Freedom is not free.

Ziemowit

Poland's interests are in keeping the US troops in Germany, Poland should pay for the US troops in Germany.

Who told you that or is it just another piece of your (in)famous trolling?

Poland's interests are not in keeping the US troops in Germany, but in keeping them in Poland.

johnny reb
10 Jul 2018  #343

And Trump has already stated that Poland is one of the few NATO allies that have paid their fare share into NATO so the United States would always stand behind them.

There is no doubt that Trump will not be making any new friends with our NATO allies when he leaves this Summit meeting.
Time for the leeches to Pony Up.

Rich Mazur

...so the United States would always stand behind them.

I don't want the US to stand behind, next to, or in front of anybody, Poland included. I want the US to stand at the Mexican border and shoot the trespassers until the day we have an Israeli style wall. Poland should be able to take care of its needs without our involvement. Just recall who won in Vietnam. It was not the US. Except that in Poland, the war could turn nuclear. Not even Poland is worth it.

Why cant the EUs biggest economy (Germany) pay its NATO obligations?

They have been ripping us off for years.

Greece with all their economic problems still contributes 2.8% and even tiny Estonia can meet their financial obligations. Obviously the UK always does, but the others just leeech of the US.

Trump will be in the EU headquarters of Brussels tomorrow but we all know Merkel really runss the show in Europe.

Poland should be able to take care of its needs without our involvemen

At least they live up to their end of the NATO agreement, unlike Germany.

Rich Mazur

They have been ripping us off for years.

Because we let them.

The first step toward ending this parasitic relationship is by admitting that it exists. Trump calls it like it is and that's why we love him. After the brown one, the Euros are shocked and so totally clueless how to handle a New York wiseguy who is more at home with the hardhats than with the Euro blue bloods.

Maybe I am naive buy I really hope that Trump and Putin will come together on how to force some sanity into the Western Europe's love affair with those damn migrants.

My beef with NATO is not what they pay. It's that the US is on hook to defend them. It's time to shred all those 'mutual defense' treaties. Mutual my rear end.

Gees Germany ripping people off? Lol what a suprise, the leeches were always sucking someone dry, whoever they could. The yanks let them off after ww2 and now they leech on. It was a cop out.

Bratwurst Boy
11 Jul 2018  #348

It's that the US is on hook to defend them.

Europe should just cut the US off...no more NATO...no more US army on European soil...you don't want to be the "world policemen" anymore, you will no longer need them anymore for your forces to go to those far away places you want to control.

But any US-Russia alliance is for stupid Breitbarters only, it will be soon a Europe-Russia-China/Asia against the US...Trump's MAGA will make sure of that...economically, politically and militarily....good luck!

You will need it!

(With hindsight though you will wish you never mentioned that "leeching" in the first places and started that "America Totally Alone" nightmare, aka ATA, in the first place!)

Tacitus

The USA is the only country that has actively called upon the Nato to defend it. As a result many European countries have been engaged in a de facto hopeless war in Afghanistan for the last 18 years. Yet the president dares to complain about other Nato countries taking advantage of the USA.

Rich Mazur
11 Jul 2018  #350

The USA is the only country that has actively called upon the Nato to defend it.

The US never called upon anyone to defend it. You don't defend Poland in Australia.

Since WW2, the US has been acting as a dumb world cop eager and ready to spend money it didn't have because some American scum would get richer and the Americans would get another dose of 'patriotism' to feed their messiah complex derangement syndrome and the feeling that they are exceptional. The fact that other countries decided to join the dumb cop and fight an unwinnable war where men rape boys in full daylight and use fingers instead of toilet paper, does not make them the defenders of the US. When they come here to patrol our southern border and shoot the trespassing hordes, then I will agree that they are defending the US.

Tacitus
11 Jul 2018  #351

The US never called upon anyone to defend it

Incorrect. The USA called for Nato support after 9/11 and this is the reason why we still have European soldiers in Afghanistan.

Rich Mazur
11 Jul 2018  #352

Did you read my post in its entirety or just the first sentence?

"Support" does not equal "defend". It's a physical and logical impossibility to defend an aggressor country killing people 7000 miles away. When Germany called upon its allies to go to the USSR, did those allies "defend" Germany"? Or were they just obedient useful idiots aiding and abetting the aggression?

Since you have problems with the word "defend" and its applications, the common, reasonable man definition is that you "defend" a victim, not the aggressor. The US was a victim only once since 1900 on December 7, 1941. And even that is open to a debate. The 9/11 events were a result of the extreme US stupidity and NATO should have never considered them as a trigger for a multinational response. Is NATO involved in the EU rapes and murders by the Muslim hordes the EU stupidly allowed in?

Bratwurst Boy
11 Jul 2018  #353

There won't be any longer "Muslim hordes allowed in", the politics are changing, Europe is closing itself off.

If NATO is called off by Trump it stays that way, but that has absolutely nothing to do with any "Muslim hordes", it isn't as if Trump cares about THAT.

Rich Mazur
11 Jul 2018  #354

There won't be any longer "Muslim hordes allowed in"

Too late. You won't have enough balls to deport them. The new ones will be multiplying like the New York rats, or bed bugs - if you like this analogy more. And, as we already know from the way they behave in the UK, the second generation of those parasites is even worse than the original scum that entered the country illegally.

As the Chinese proverb says, refugees, like AIDS, are forever. Enjoy.

Bratwurst Boy
11 Jul 2018  #355

I still don't see the difference to the US....you are an extremely successfull and powerful country, made solely by rats and bed bugs!

ALL your ancestors had been once rats and bed bugs from other countries....

There is that mighty famous statue you might have heard of..."Gimme your rats and bed bugs...."...the builder knew exactly what they meant!

Rich Mazur
11 Jul 2018  #356

Unfortunately, you are right about that bloody statue that allows the stupid to keep repeating that oh so profound line how "America is a country of immigrants" as a justification for open borders, refugees, and all the rest, which is applicable to the modern US as hay to Tesla cars.

Bratwurst Boy

Hey Rich, I just read that Hillary want's to do it again..true or bad joke?

johnny reb
11 Jul 2018  #358

I wish I could have posted the in my United States of America thread but someone deleted it.
Trump sure reddened Merkel's face at the summit today when he let the cat out of the bag how Merkel made a behind the doors deal with Putin for Germanys DIRECT gas pipeline from Russia into Germany (by passing all the rest of NATO allie countries) and pay less for gas then does the rest of the U.E.

Trump then told Merkel that the 1.2% of Germanys GDP was not enough and that it should be 4% for Germanys share paid into NATO.
Merkel has got to be steamed big time at Trump

Bratwurst Boy

Imagine that...Germany + Russia...we would so rule! :)

dolnoslask
11 Jul 2018  #360

I could imagine it, without Russia German houses would be very cold, so when Russia shouts Germany jumps, Poland meanwhile continues to burn Polish coal.
