During the middle ages they celebrated the end of a plague with wine and orgies.
Does anyone know if they are planning anything like that when this one ends ?

The UK is going to start vaccinating with the Pfizer vaccine next week. They expect it to take until spring to fully vaccinate the most vulnerable, and naturally the National Health Service (NHS) is carrying it out so it will be free to all.

This is great news and there is light at the end of the tunnel.....the vaccine has been thoroughly tested and people will receive two doses of the vaccine, 21 days apart.....they will be immune 7 days after the second dose. Partial immunity takes place a few days after the first dose.

Forgive me if I doubt the sincerity of the UK government toward protecting the vulnerable....

Meanwhile they're dedicated to destroying the hospitality industry because apparently people having fun together is not part of the new reality they're trying to build....

I think the UK government are sincere towards protecting the elderly and vulnerable, it will just take some time....as you might expect from the unique challenge of rolling out a vaccination programme....

Bottom line though is that they will give them the vaccine.

Great news that the vaccination of those who need it will take place over the winter, especially considering that it's easier to follow the restrictions when it's cold outside anyway. It had been claimed by some that this wouldn't happen until Spring, not entirely sure why there would be such a delay thou considering this was after the vaccine had been proved to be highly effective. Hopefully by Spring they mean mid-late March but we will see. I fully expect other countries in Europe at least to follow in January I suspect.

Once vulnerable groups are vaccinated thou it's important that the restrictions get lifted and everyone gets some normality back. If they don't it will be increasingly harder to justify. Yes it is true that not everyone will get the jab for obvious reasons but keeping it voluntary and using persuasion rather than forcing people to have it done is the only way imo.

That's what worries me...

My position exactly. It's the first duty of every citizen to oppose and distrust their government since governments consist of the worst in any society - useless parasites who can't do anything else others would buy without coercion. Forcing the masses to wear those idiotic masks and the lockdowns are their way of getting high on power.

I have no issues with vaccines in general, but I do have an issue with untested mRNA technology. This is beyond a DNA vaccine or anything. There are just far too many questions for this to be the front-runner. Vaccinate me with a subunit vaccine, but fock off with this mRNA sh!t. I want to see a 15 year-long study at minimum before this sh!t is approved.

As this vaccine has not been tested enough, the vaccination itself puts you at a much higher risk then that of getting the disease. It's about PROFIT.

Well this is fine for others to express concern but if you look at the article you referred to it would seem that the US will possibly start using the vaccine from Pfizer after a meeting on the 10 December. The US FDA will hold a public meeting on 10 December to review the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. It could authorise the jab for use soon after that date. UK gets approval on 2 December....the US after 10 December....only separated by 8 days so not sure if this leading epidemiologist believes things are being rushed through when very soon the US will follow....perhaps this is one for US authorities to consider......

As for safety the MRHA in the UK gave a detailed press conference on the launch and professors clearly set out how careful and thorough their numerous procedures are, also pointing out that the reason for the speedy decision was the result of introducing fast tracking procedures....

Why is it that every time I read something that makes sense it almost always comes from Eastern Europe or Russia. And every time I read stuff from Western Europe I cringe or puke. Really, why is it so?

Poland death rate has increased to 1.8%,I personally know 3 people who died last week in Poland from Covid.Scary.

Posts from EE are objectively better. Me being Russian does not change that fact.


What is the definition of the death rate you are quoting? My definition of death rate excludes people who died with corona instead of from, are older than the statistical life span, and have terminal cancer or a severe case of heart disease.

That might be because of the decreased air quality in Poland this time of year.
Coal smoke irritates the lungs which make them vulnerable to infections.
Once Poland catches up with the rest of the west and builds a couple of nuclear reactors to produce clean energy to heat their homes with electric heaters things most likely won't change.

Even a couple of new modern hospitals with lots of trained personnel and stocked with necessary supplies would help.

My quotation of that death rate was people who had corona and died of Corona .They were between 50 and 63 years of age with healthy life style,none had any kind of underlying conditions except the younger one 50 with high blood pressure problems and none smoked.

What is used as the denominator? Is it the totality of the persons who had the virus since the beginning of that "pandemic"?

I saw some guy say the real number was 3-4m in Poland and a) it doesn't sound right and b) then the death rate is more like 0.5

Getting facts out of any ruling class is hard. They lie and hide as a default mode. So, it will be interesting to see the annual death stats as those numbers are not easy to hide, manipulate, and are not open to interpretations. Specifically, the total number of deaths in 2019 and 2020. Then, the same where the cause was cancer. My prediction: the corona bump will be matched by the cancer dip. Unless, of course, the habitual government liars are allowed to double code - like, he died from pancreatic cancer and the virus - working together in perfect sync.

It turns out the CDC grossly overestimated covid deaths. Only about 9k people died solely from covid - basically everyone else was seniors and others with co-morbidities...

And yet one of my co-workers died over Thanksgiving. Only 28 years old he was still a kid basically - didn't smoke, drink, do drugs, exercised regularly and ate super healthy. He died of sudden death due to an enlarged heart while sitting on the couch with his girlfriend. His only vice was energy drinks.

I still want to know whether George Floyd's death has been logged a covid death. If he wasn't famous for being on 4 different drugs at once and fighting with the cops then it definitely would have.

It's so funny how these countries still call themselves democracies while limiting peoples' movements, freedoms, business, etc. Big chain stores are open for idiots buying plastic **** from China but yet a guy taking the same precautions can't serve a chicken sandwich. So Breitbart is saying that the two doctors that worked on this vaccine - Dr. Michael Yeadon and Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg - have written to the Europen Medicines Agency citing health concerns with the vaccine.

One of them is that it may make women infertile for an 'indefinite duration'.

Oh yeah...and it may cause a leathal immune reaction if you come into contact with the 'wild' strain of Covid-19.

It's almost as though those who said the vaccine would fock you up and target fertility were right all along. Although I assumed they'd come after our balls.

On the fertility thing I think they told pregnant women not to take it yet (that is BritIsh govts position) until there is more data. I didn't see any specific thing about fertility
