I was the only person in the room.

When I was feeling sick they drove me to the hospital and gave me the ChinaVirus test. They sent me back home and by the time I received the results ( 7days later). I already felt better and was up and about. What a waste of time that was. I did get a free chest x-ray though, and looked good!

I got my results in to travel in Warsaw in 7 hours by text,of course after paying 420 pln this Saturday.

Its always better to pay in pln, only a little over 10 bucks:) You would be screaming if it were dollars.

How much can you by a nice house around Warsaw for? Not some shabby expat rental flat either.

Coronavirus is so bad in Poland, we can offer ICU beds to Slovakia and Czech? Current R number is less than 1. New variant, old strain....does not matter. It is not going away. People will die. Everyone just needs to get used to that fact and move on. Sweden death and recover rate is almost identical to the USA lockdown in California. Proving lockdowns can not and will not work. USA looking a whole lot better right now. Might be time to come back for a year.

It's rising here now according to the spokesman. That doesn't look good for the prospect of reopening and won't make travel easier.

Not in terms of containing a seasonal respiratory ailment... no. But that's the not real reason for issuing lockdowns.

Again.... the Chinese Communist Party (aka evil incarnate) has now successfully exported its model of governance to most of the rest of the world. It's about reorienting government from (in theory) serving the public to issuing decrees that must be followed (quite divorced from anything resembling the rule of law).

Remember the Wuhan lockdown was part of the same government philosophy that built concentration camps....

It's a long way off that, fortunately.

Just posted it a few days ago and now it becomes a reality. One of the experts of the Ministry of "Health" hinted at the idea that dust masks are indeed worth sh*t and would be beneficial if they were replaced with medical masks.

So there's maybe a change in the official narrative and the sheep will have to follow it. That would also undermine the sense of wearing a dust mask for the last 12 months.

Sometimes I wonder how does it feel to be an idiot. Does it hurt? Maybe @jon357 and @delpiandomine can answer this question :-)

It's easier for the sheep to just follow than to spend hours on the internet to expose the big lie and end up wearing the damn mask anyway because other sheep will give you dirty looks or yell at you.

Yes, the social pressure was strong but it's weakening. And once this whole paranoia hangs on law enforcement only, not on fear and social pressure, it won't stay for long.

I've been given dirty looks, disapprovals, challenges, official verbal reprimands to submit and wear a dust mask. Sure, it would be easier to just put it on but I would feel like an idiot and a person who submitted to this "new normality".

The best thing is to surround yourself with normal people and limit contact with bots, freaks, and paranoiacs.

I refuse to mask up now unless I am in a crowded public place. Walking my dog this morning, several others doing the same now for the last few days. Enough is enough already. Looking forward to my USA trip now, and thats a 180 change.
