Coronavirus in Poland

It's not that simple. If a vaccinated person is no longer a spreader, it would be logical to make vaccinating him his choice and his alone. The problem is that his sickness is at society's expense. That's where the "it's my body" feminazi slogan is no longer operational.

A vaccinated person can still carry the virus and spread it.
A vaccinated person can still contract it.
A vaccinated person can still suffer from the symptoms of the virus.
A vaccinated person can still die from the virus but just not as likely to.
A vaccinated person can even die from the vaccination poke itself.
The bad part is that my government can demand to invade my body with it or I don't fly on a plane, go into Federal building, not allowed in hospitals.............

No one ever said a vaccine would make them not infectious. It was only designed and only ever said to keep people out of intensive care and to keep them from dying. Lets not confuse protection with a cure. This is protection like any other flu vaccine.

This is where it gets 1984-ish. If I am still a spreader, then vax or no vax makes no difference to society and I should not be forced to get it.

No one is being forced to take the vaccine so no need to worry so much.....those that choose to take the vaccine do and those that don't want to don't. If you can avoid the virus without taking a vaccine then fine.....for me I'll take my chances with the vaccine.

I am taking it simply to help speed the process of getting back to normal. Any protection, no matter how minimal that allows everyone to get back to living is worth taking.

Me too. Any protection is good, and the sooner we can get back to some sort of normality the better.

Conspiracy theories, anti-vax woo and deliberate fearmongering don't help anyone.

I am already forced to wear a mask. If I don't, I will not be treated - no mask, no service. That's forcing without putting a gun to my head.

Vaccinations are going the same route. No vax - no fly, no work, no hospitals,...no many things. Just as with masks.

@Novichok, but it's for your own good. The government knows better what you should spend your money on, what should you wear, what medicaments should you take, what should you read.

Look at @jon357 @delphiandomine and the others. They've already accepted that they are cattle. No free will, no hard decisions, just obey and go with the flow... Look how mellow they are :-)

I agree jon yet it is our governments fault for lying to us who are responsible for all of that.
If our governments treated us like adults and told us the truth about the virus and vaccines instead of keeping us guessing and padding the numbers, I would expect a lot more people would be willing to get an experimental vaccine.

For me, I will wait for awhile longer to see the side effects of all you guinea pigs.

Anti-vaxxers already have blood on their hands (c.f. the unvaccinated children who've died in measles outbreaks due to vaccine hesitancy), and the paranoia around the pandemic has fuelled a lot of conspiracy woo.

Like I sad at the beginning of this thread, their lying has turned this pandemic into every man for himself.
I got the virus way back in March before it was taken seriously.
If they would have informed the public just how bad it was I would have taken better precautions.
Now I have 'long haulers' with lingering effects.
I have been to five different doctors now asking what I can do to get well and they all tell me the same thing, "I don't know."

So I have to suffer the rest of my life suffering because WHO, CDC and Fauci don't seem to be concerned about jonny rebs quality of life.

It has always been, Every man for himself and still is.
And now they want me to trust them to inject my body with an experimental vaccine that guarantees NOTHING.

My guess and prediction are that even if they know the vaccinated cannot spread, they will lie that they can to assure mask compliance. Without that lie, some would feel exempt from wearing masks and enforcement would be impossible.

Dust masks are all about a visual sign of obedience.

They don't stop the virus and even some of the more perceptive simps knows that.
Even the doctors were sceptical about it at the beginning and even mocking this idea until a new official narrative was introduced:

He discusses 3 types of masks: regular masks [dust masks for simps], proper medical masks, and special anti-viral masks.

He also points out that a mask may become a biological bomb and do more harm than help.

This kind of interview would not be possible in liberal mass media today. It would be treated as a heresy and the doctor would be labeled a conspiracy theorist and flat-earther.

Wut? It's from only a few months ago and is still online...

One nice benefit of being a teacher - I received the vaccine today. No sign of any sickness or other side effects, and the whole process was completed very efficiently.

It's clear that the bottleneck is with the amount of vaccines available, and fortunately, it seems that clinics are keeping the bureaucracy to a bare minimum in order to get people vaccinated quickly.

Forcing a person to breathe through that petri dish would be in violation of civil rights under more normal conditions. My cynicism tells me that if anyone files a civil lawsuit for compensation after the damage to his health, their defense will be that he wore that mask voluntarily and theirs was merely a recommendation.

Just remember those brilliant words of mine.

Anyway, it's hardly rocket science to wear a mask once and then wash it after use. Nor is it rocket science to do a small thing that can help protect the weakest in our society.

Great news and good luck....were you given a date for the second dose?

12 weeks maximum, though they said that they've been told to prepare for delivery from the 10th week onwards.

Either way, I'm happy to have received it. It's the AstraZeneca one, so it'll be interesting to see how it compares over the year with other vaccines.
