You missed the sarcasm...Of course, the flu didn't disappear. What disappeared is the honesty of the ruling mob that dumps as many deaths into the corona bin as they can to maintain their grip and tyranny. A guy croaks from something, flu included, and, immediately, the corona sniffers go to work trying to find that damn virus.

In the UK, anyone who dies with Covid is put down as a Covid death.
Even if that was not the cause of death....
But I put that down to poor practice and not to conspiracy theories.....

I know one girl who had the flu at the beginning of 2020. That was before the mass media coronaparanoia of late Feb-March 2020. She spent a week in bed thinking nothing about it and after that, she was as good as new. A few months later she claimed that she had a corona to have some interesting story to tell her friends, including me. It's always more interesting to suffer from a trendy corona than some boring common flu.

Looks like the new Brazilian variant is a problem. It's almost certainly in Poland by now, even if it's not been identified.

I follow some Twitter accounts of the biggest Polish pandemic gurus (including government officials, experts and advisors) and pandemic celebrities fishing for attention.

12-7 months ago there was lot of support from regular Twitter accounts under those pandemic posts of corona-gurus. Lots of positive comments and 'likes'.

After summer time, when the virus magically disappeared during the presidential elections just to magically reappear again in September, there was a lot of concern and valid questions and signs of tiredness and anger.

And for the last few months I can observe fewer 'likes' and a wave of insults and ridiculing in the comments, with just few words of support from the dumbest coronafanatics. And the wave of pissed of people, and comments, is constantly rising.

That, and the civil disobedience movement 'OtwieraMy!' ('We open up!') shows a change in attitude towards the 'pandemic' and corona-restrictions.

I'm waiting for the times when the loudest corona-gurus and aggressive corona-cultists will receive the same treatment they were giving normal people at the beginning of the 'pandemic'.

"Do you want me to keep this stupid mask on, doctor?" is not a daft question after I told him that I have asthma, my heart is racing, and that I am short of breath.

This virus is very dangerous to some, less dangerous to some others, and not dangerous at all to the rest. You never know beforehand which group you belong to.

If masks work then why are we social distancing ?
If social distancing works then why are we wearing masks ?
If masks and social distancing work why are our businesses closed ?
If we can stand in line at the grocery store why can't we stand in line to vote ?

I was concerned (not panicked but concerned) early last year, among other reasons, because I knew that nothing the Chinese government said could be trusted.... Not being concerned in early March means a person simply isn't very serious....

But by May or so it was obvious it was a dud (beyond the Chinese recommended policies that made it far worse).

I changed opinion by looking at the data and don't have some weird need to make it look like I was also right all along....

I did think that the economic consequences would be far more long lasting than the virus itself - though I thought that would be from interrupted supply chains and not from governments committing economic warfare against their own citizenries....

"Some" can stay home. The rest should go to work to support the "somes" in their retirement.

BS. If they didn't want it, they would lock down only the places where 70-yo work and congregate.
Elementary schools where teachers are 45 or less are not such places.

The trouble is that not all 'somes' are retired and additionally the danger is that 45 year olds and indeed students can spread the virus....this is why it is very difficult and dangerous to make these assumptions on age....there are many different factors.

The "not all" argument is not an argument at all. Just a meaningless string of words leading to: until the last virus is dead, the lockdown should continue.


Then separate and lockdown grandpa and grandma, not the country. Kids are not at risk justifying any of the corona terrorism by the ruling mob. Or scared morons, if you prefer.
