hospital admissions: -1054 (big fall, now it's 11 days in a row with negative numbers...)

deaths: 423 (too many but 90 fewer than last Saturday)

from the previous day*: 7 day moving average of daily deaths: 399 (down 16 from yesterday)

It is quite odd that although quite rightly that those of a left learning or liberal persuasion are treating this as a global problem that requires a global solution, there is very little emphasis on how and why it became a global problem.

Don't get me wrong, I have quite liberal and left leaning views myself but I get the impression that many are trying to pretend that the problem started from March last year when it started to have an effect on individual countries and not November 2019 when the first cases emerged. Although in many cases the criticism of individual governments is arguably justified, the source and how the virus was able to spread globally can't be just accepted as just unfortunate.

I doubt we will ever know for sure how covid started or how involved the Chinese government were in this but certainly actions since have been questionable. Advising foreign governments to impose lockdown measures rather than imposing a ban on international flights as soon as it stated to get out of control in China and creating a vaccine that is apparently only 50% effective against the virus when even the Russians have one that is 95% with one is a rather half-hearted way of helping.

I think its important however that the actions of the government aren't confused with any broader racial accusations against Chinese people themselves which has become rather worrying.

On my island, that idiot Cuomo would be tried and executed for deliberately packing covid infected patients into nursing homes and causing thousands to die. My bet is that every Western "democracy" has its Cuomo and the "we have to do something" ignorants aided and abetted by the "scientists" like that creep Fauci.

My question still stands: what did the trillions, spent and lost, and lives ruined buy for the Western "democracies"? 2500 deaths rates in Europe and empty streets?

Fauci is one of the most distinguished living scientists and the USA paid dearly that the president ignored his advice. If you want to charge anyone for the lifes lost, start with the Trump adminastration.

Two things: sent their manufacturing to them because it's cheaper, and invited the hordes of Chinese students with bags of tuition money. Why? Because Western man is a greedy creep, ready to flood his own country with foreign imports and migrants for a quick buck.

When this mess is over, each country should hold a Nuremberg-style trial and sentence all those who committed crimes against the business owners and the individuals in the name of a "pandemic" with a 99.9% survival rate. That should include the brainless cops writing tickets for not wearing masks that could not be justified by "science" as applicable to each situation. Just as an FYI for those who may get the J&J vaccine. I got it yesterday. Roughly 24 hours of head aches, body aches, sweating and a light fever. After that though it quickly goes away.

When do you need your second one?
