Well the Covid Quarantine DID prove one thing for sure.

That's actually a really good point. The only problem is it didn't stop people who were on the edge anyway from being pushed over and going to shoot up the local shopping mall. Guns don't kill, people do, and to a much smaller extent COVID does too. I wonder if those numbers are available. Global murders vs. COVID?

That question includes, car accidents, health issues like liver cirrhosis and other physical conditions, suicide from depression and other mental issues, accidents while being under the influence, etc.

How many people in Poland died last year from Alcohol related deaths and how many died from Covid ?
Since I already know that maf is unable to come up with the correct answer this question is open to any native Polish member here.

Maskholes are beyond the cult. Now, it's a mental disorder.

Today, while walking the streets of Naperville, I asked two women why they are wearing masks. "To protect others". Have you been vaccinated? Yes. But the CDC says you don't have to wear it if you are vaccinated. But they feel better when they see my mask.

So, it's no longer about infecting others. It's to make them feel better. The mask insanity has reached the point of no cure.

I have no doubt how she voted last November.

It is telling that the idea of wanting to protect others is so alien to you that you consider it insanity.

In London, they are already a dying breed. And opening pubs for the public was a final nail to the coffin for the cult of the corona.

Most places can be visited without wearing a muzzle right now, and the other spots can be visited with some argument at the door/gate.

What's important is to refuse to wear it and to show others that it is possible to avoid wearing it and to live life normally. To ridicule the restrictions and to put constant pressure on the management/security in order to break those limitations.

Being a free man is a constant effort.

Perhaps by those who actually have the flu. Whatever opinion people have about how necessary or not masks are they are still a restriction and its not really normal to wear them. It's also important imo that full normality (with mask wearing inside probably the last to go) isn't delayed any later than the completion of the vaccine rollout.

Amazon has already been in business with grocery stores in the US since 2016. They expanded that to London recently. They're cashless, cashier-free stores where you just scan your Amazon app and 'Go' as the stores are called. I imagine there must be a human being somewhere behind the scenes in case the tech stops functioning.

No it doesn't. This isn't a normal store app. You walk in, pick up stuff and walk out without interacting with any staff and the app debits your account for merchandise that leaves the store with you.

I'm not sure how they keep people without the app from entering... maybe lasers do that job....

Oh yeah....the HQ of that agency is in London....and it's CEO lives in Moscow!
(And all of it's personnel had worked before in Russia!)

Not that slowly.... hospital occupancy is less than a fifth of what it was during the early April peak, the rate of decline (using the seven day moving average) is at a 75 or so degree angle.

The daily death rate is falling more slowly but it's hard to know how they're counting (esp since doctors have a financial incentive to count as many as possible).

Meanwhile panic mongers are trying to get the Tokyo Olympics cancelled even though cases peaked 10 days ago and the daily death rate (7 day moving average) is currently 111 (for a country of 120 million.....)

Political response is less about health than disruption and disorientation and depriving people of collective ceremonies and international celebrations.
