I just went into a Walmart superstore about 30 miles outside of Chicago. Everyone, I noticed was wearing a mask except me. I walked right passed the door greeter and the free masks. He didn't say as I passed, so just kept going. It was weird being the only one in the store without wearing a control mask and seen ppl looking at me, but don't really care.

I just heard they put the mask mandate back in place here in Illinois.

If I get sick I take precautions either way, but forcing anyone is introducing authoritarian tendencies! The state is here to help us, not to command us! (Unless your a government employee, then they gotta do what their told)

Same here. I expected some hippie millenial with blue hair at Whole Foods to bother me about it, but alas no dice... No one cared at the bank or gas stations either.

When I took the metra to union station last week i wore the mask like just over my mouth so i could still breathe through my nose (that and my sunglasses getting fogged up are the two most annoying things with wearing masks for me) no one said anything either but if you're not wearing a mask the conductors can kick you off.

No one doing anything indoors in Poland either. Not in malls or stores. People have had enough of this.

Lately, I have been taking my wife to a hospital for therapy. MASKS REQUIRED! Not me. As soon as I sit down, the mask goes off and nobody, including the security guys, says anything.

Today was a gorgeous weather, so I decided to take my lunch break at this park where the Fox River streams through. As I was sitting there, I noticed a guy fishing and everything seem normal. Then he turned around and had a mask on! I started cracking up laughing. I couldn't help it..lol He was by himself btw...


The population of the whole county is a little over 1500... Thats not a lot! LOL And not everyone is Polish, you'd be luck if 20%

Hopefully the EU and national covid certificates get updated. Currently it only grants you the pass if you have had the infection in the last 180 days. But knowing Big Pharma influence will be an uphill battle.


That's because it's summer and hospitlisation is low. Once winter and rates tick up , peoples attitudes will change.

Today, I will try to find out from the "authorities" why, with three vaccine shots in me, I still have to wear that idiotic mask.

I dont see it. I can say from working in cold environments, no one is wearing masks in those environments. The temperatures have been in single digits at night and still no one wearing them. Unless it becomes a mandate again, it wont happen. I dont see it being mandated either because so many have gotten the vaccine. Really very impressed with how many have at least one dose and more than half the population fully vaccinated. Thats impressive even for communist wannabee's.

Even if you are fully vaccinated , you are still capable of spreading Covid and dying from Covid.
Just like the mask, the vaccine is not 100% effective either yet they both decrease the odds.
Self centered maskholes don't want to get this.
We have all seen the success the masks have had on the flu last season didn't we.
That fact alone should be enough to show some respect and wear a mask in public.

The bottom-line question is simple. With everyone fully vaccinated, do we need to wear masks?

You don't wear one now so what is your concern ?
The bottom line is that 'everyone' will never be fully vaccinated.
Herd immunity will take between 3-5 years which most likely will be the rest of your natural life.
So for you personally, the answer is yes, you will be required to wear a mask while in public the rest of your natural life.

Vaccinations ARE NOT 100% effective PolAm from catching or spreading Covid.

The holes in cloth and surgical masks are 4000 times bigger than the virus. It's like throwing a 1000 tennis balls at a high-rise construction site and hoping some tennis balls will hit the scaffolding and bounce off. If you want to play every odd then wear a N95/P2 mask otherwise your words are hollow.


My bad, I thought it was still the law to wear them indoors in Poland, If it complies with regulations that's all kosher. Let me explain why wearing a mask is moronic.

1. If I don't have the virus, I pose no risk to anyone. Therefore, no mask.
2. If I have a virus but don't speak, spit, cough, or sneeze, I pose no risk to anyone. Therefore, no mask.
3. If I have a virus but have to speak, the mask is on while I am speaking. Beyond that, no mask.

Masks are not capable of catching the virus that is two orders of magnitude smaller than the mask holes. Therefore, whatever we exhale enters the ambient air unfiltered.

The wearer's virus riding on the water droplets will stay on the mask and hurt the wearer who will be inhaling that virus back instead of fresh air.

The question if masks protect the wearer has already been answered by the "authorities" and common sense. No, they don't. Plus, if I want to die early, it's nobody's fu*cking business. It's my body, after all, isn't it?
