Good point, however I think I would rather use ones I can keep and just wash regularly than constantly get packs of masks for every day I go out. Especially as nobody knows if or when it will stop being a requirement in many places.

Today an ambulance car arrived at a house a few hundred meters away from mine. There has apparantly been a Covid outbreak among the family living there, the mother (in her late 40s has been taken to the hospital). I don't really know those people, but I do meet the mother from time to while jogging through a nearby park. She looked healthy last time I saw her a few weeks ago. I hope she and her family will be ok.

I personally know 6 people who died from covid and maybe 11 who got it from ages 45 to 74.All who died were the younger age group in that bracket.All were healthy as a horse and some who survived are weak after the disease.

I knew 2 (for sure) who died after being hospitalized and being put on respirators. I maybe know a third (I know they died in December but I'm not sure if it was covid)

Two were over 60 (one over 70) and generally seemingly healthy. The members of one's family also had covid but got over it after about a week...

Individual cases do not statistics make. The worse of matriarchal societies is that laws are made so often in response to outliers - preferably cute 10-year-old girls. Show 'em one sad face in tears, and they would vote to print another 100 trillion bucks.

A new study suggests that almost half of those hospitalized with COVID-19 have mild or asymptomatic cases.

It means that 99.51 per cent of coronavirus deaths since the beginning of the year were in people who were not fully vaccinated.
