Coronavirus in Poland

I want to wear a mask.
I keep repeating myself that I don't want to wear a mask and diminish your choice if you do - unacceptable.

And Israel?

...with 80% vaccinated and the third wave just as bad as the first one when nobody was vaccinated!
So, those lockdowns, distancing, masks, and vaccines didn't help much, did they?
OK, maybe psychologically..."We are doing something..."
The next wave should be attacked with prayers - everybody at the same time to make it more effective.

It's going to be the same cycle of new wave/new mutation or varient -> threatening lockdowns -> telling people they need to mask up and take more boosters -> criticizing people taking other treatments -> saying that the new wave is caused by those not following mandates and the unvaxxed even though clearly the vaxx has had no significant effect even by popular statistics -> reimplement lockdowns -> gradually ease restrictions as people grow uneasy -> repeat

Johnson & Johnson seems to be especially susceptible to the new mutation....more breakthrough infections than with other vaccinations...about 2000 new-infections in 1 mill fully vaccinated people.

For comparison...for Biontech/Pfizer there are about 675 re-infections per 1 mill fully vaccinated people.

And now a question for you....did that biker somehow forced you to wear a mask? Or even glare at you because you didn't? What's it to you if he wears a mask or not? Do you feel personally attacked by a mask-wearer? Even if he doesn't care if you are vaccinated or in denial or gonna be infected?

I know... I can't help but shake my head when I see people wearing masks inside their cars... I don't wear a mask when I go into an establishment and if they say something about it, fine I'll leave - that's the last time they got my business and there's plenty of others who aren't going to go all SS-Maskerubercommando where I'd rather spend my money.

Some clubs, bars, restaurants, etc. are going a step further and requiring patrons to show a vaxx card... yeah I'll never go there that's for sure...

To be honest, we're still WAAAAY better off than Europe... you have thousands of people who were suspended from their jobs without pay because they didn't get an experimental gene therapy posing as a vaccine...

Out of all the countries Australia is probably the worst. They have straight up curfews, police patrols, all sorts of **** all because of a few hundred cases, few dozen deaths over the whole country across the whole covid pandemic.

Canada isn't too far off - I love the Polish priest that always stands up to the covid authorities calling them gestapo and communists lololol... "do it the nazi style!!! do it the nazi style!!!" as he goes limp forcing the cops to carry him into the squad car rofl

Seeing as like most Poles I've had family imprisoned, maimed and even murdered by such groups, I'm keenly aware. It changes nothing.

Well, it would be death in a concentration camp in case of Gestapo and a bullet in the back of the head in case of communists, so maybe the comparison wasn't very precise. :)

Anti-vaccine people and all the conspiracy theorists in general tend to be slightly hysterical. However, using words like "gestapo" or "communists" to describe democratic authorities who are merely trying to control the pandemic is a little bit over the top, to put it mildly.

After 4 months the potency of the second dose is down to 83,7%.

(A mask doesn't detoriate....if you don't wear the same one for four months that is!:)

So probably booster doses will be recommended after some time. And a good mask can't hurt. :)

I have really high hopes for the new kind of vaccines coming next year to end that experimenting and continuing boostering....but it will take awhile till I leave the house without my trusted mask! :)

Israel's population has been vaccinated solely with the Pfizer vaccine - and as far as I know it is in much better shape than the UK

The difference is that brilliant parents like me have a reasonable chance to undo that damage.
