It's a private company, free to set whatever terms and conditions or rules they want to.

Like here on PF; if you break their rules, Admin or the mod/s can block you. If you want to continue posting the same stuff, there are other fora on which you can post it. Same with a video sharing website; if you don't like the specific T&Cs of one site, there are others you can use. Some of the other ones have been recommended on here and one even has a channel dedicated to PF.


Basically misinformation, the 'firestorm of fake news' etc from anti-vaxxers and other "troofers". Fake news is nothing new, and great that a popular video-sharing website is tackling it.

They criminally violate the 230-section law which protects them from getting sued for published content, but ONLY if they don't act as the publisher of the content. By banning the information they don't agree with, they are a publisher. Same applies to facebook or twitter. Of course, nobody is going to do anything about it, but they would happily penalize small sites like this for doing the same. Imagine PF starts banning all people who admit to being gay. That's exactly what youtube/google/facebook does and there are no consequences. Only the plebs is required to follow the law.

So report them to your local police if you think a law has been broken. Rather than moaning here which of course achieves nothing except a great big corpulent zero..


Who can publish or not publish as they will, providing it's legal, doesn't advocate terrorism or anything else illegal in jurisdictions from which it can be accessed, doesn't depict images of child abuse etc. I suspect today's decision is on the advice of their lawyers, doubtless worried about being sued as a result of deliberate misinformation about medical matters that they've allowed on their site.

About deliberate information by anti-vaxxers and other fake news, they have no obligation whatsoever to disseminate it, although sadly they have had plenty on their website and their step tioday is, if anything, too little, too late. Though still a positive step.

I know the difference very well. Masks are worn by the obedient morons over their mouths and noses. Less obedient - just over the mouths. The smart ones - in their chins. Vaccines are worn internally after being injected. Did I get it right?

Hey, jon, did you read that? There is a difference between "required to follow" and "happily obeying" - something you love doing.

Anyway, small-minded people would rather stab their fellow neighbors (small business owners) than to stand up to their Masters. Again, would you report it to your local police that you have been banned from PF for being gay (if you were one)? I'm sure you would. That's the problem with the vaccine theater too. People have been hypnotized by the apparatchiks on TV to do things that make no sense.

So report your local police the IPCC (or the US equivalent) if you believe there's any sort of misconduct in public office on their part. Given the publicity generated by this today and the general rapaciousness of American lawyers, doubtless someone already has if they feel there are grounds to do so.


As far as I know, they'd not be breaking any law here in Poland, where discrimination on those grounds is illegal in the workplace but not in internet fora, and certainly not in ones hosted in foreign countries.


I don't bother with them at all now, unless it's on a plane where there are very good reasons indeed to do exactly as the cabin crew say.

There are all kinds of people and the things they do. The single worst type is obedient beyond what even the covid Gestapo demands. I see them every day...Depressing and scary.

The laws don't apply to the plebs. It's an illusion that they do. In communism, there is no real law and order; crimes are being reported but nothing is done about it unless you belong to the party. Time is wasted to explain how it works unless one have gone through it personally. Good luck seeking the truth, it will be worth it.

We're in danger of going off-topic, so to return to Covid, as I mentioned before, doubtless the decision is on the advice of their lawyers who probably want to avoid an American John Grisham-type class action from the heirs of people whose browser history shows that they were watching anti-vaxxer misinformation, stupidly believed that information and subsequently died.

A Public Health England Technical briefing released in September 2021 entitled "SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern and variants under investigation in England" has some findings that do not bode well for vaccine supporters.

The numbers show vaccinated people contracted and died of the so called "Delta" variant of Coronavirus at a far greater rate than unvaccinated people between February 1, 2021 and September 12, 2021.

The article it postes contradicts most others (as well as being repeated ad nauseam on far-right websites). The article also contradicts itself quite dramatically.

Covid is a serious issue; Jim was already caught out lying when he pretended repeatedly that he had long covid, despite having admitted he'd not actually had it. Things like that and his perniciously futile anti-vax rubbish are an insult to those who've died of it, including family members of mine, an insult to those nurses and doctors who are fighting it and an insult to the scientists researching cures and vaccines.

Statng that the higher age groups have had higher vaccination coverage is not saying that more vaccinated people are getting covid. I read yesterday that it is now unvaccinated children who are starting to push the numbers upward. With schools opening that makes a lot of sense, particularly schools are now again being shut down around the world for outbreaks.

Again, get the vaccine or not, better chance at survival or not. Its everyones choice.

Obvious really.


It needs to be mandatory, if unvaccinated kids are spreading disease. It used to, a long time ago, be everyone's choice to take lessons or not before getting in a car, however as car ownership started to grow, tests became mandatory in most countries, for the safety of the every driver, passenger or pedestrian using a road and because all costs of hospitals, convalescence and disability care in developed countries are of course shared across society.

Everyone has a right to be safe at work, everyone has the right to do their job without being exposed to unnecessary risks. That includes schoolteachers.

Of people want to drive without seatbelts, or with untested cars etc great, let them buy some land and make their own road to do it on. If people want to be unvaccinated, great, let them buy some private land and let them stay there, away from the rest of us.

A medical procedure should never be mandatory as its against the Nuremberg Code. Why are you defaulting to leftist authoritarianism?
