After all the reason why kooky treatments like Inverectin and cloroquine are not being used is because they failed peer review.

You only need to look a the Polish govts mask advice to know there is no science underlying it

- masks dont work
- maybe they do
- wear a mask but you can make your own
- you cant wear an apaszka, has to be a mask
- wear a mask in the street
- dont wear a mask in the street
- wear a mask in the forest
- dont wear a mask in the forest
- wear one in your car, even if its just you

Etc etc - never was any evidence presented and its clear these were just attempts to be seen to do something.

Another dumb example - a few weeks ago I had to change planes in Munich. I got a mask from Lufthansa but when i got to Munich i couldn't enter shops or the lounge. The Lufthansa federal mask was not accepted by the Bavarian govt who wanted an N95. Is that science ?

If the health minister stands up and presents clinical evidence for a mask and then provides me with the right kind of mask then i might start taking it seriously.

With the vaccines i can see easily from a graph that they work. Can we get thar assurance for masks ?

The only thing anybody is 'after', is managing public health in this crisis.


I recently used Austrian Airlines, MAN-WAW via Vienna. One mask (N95, sold in all airports) was fine for the whole journey.


You don't get to choose what you do.

Laypeople may pretend to demand as many 'sources' or 'peer reviews' on internet fora as they like. It still means nothing since infectious diseases are a public matter, and those tasked with managing that (whether they do that well or badly) have far more important things to do right now than justify their every decision.

Restrictions are likely to tighten again this winter; the inevitable chorus of moaning will not alter that.

What we want is the BASIS and the "SCIENCE" they claim was used to make those decisions. Both were necessary before the decisions were made, hence, no additional effort to post them for all to see.

Or the right to "start taking it seriously"? You have a right to hold private views. You don't have a right to break the law or ignore the terms and conditions of (for example) an airline ticket.

Rules and regulations which break human rights and the constitution ? And which have clearly been pulled out of someone's backside. Rules that the rulers don't feel bound to follow themselves ? That's something we'll not change overnight sadly.

I see that you hate the restrictions as much as I do, however it's important to choose ones battles, and it is after all a matter of public health, one where we're all in this together. It will not be forever.

Does seem rather bizarre in the UK to say the least, a number of things don't quite add up. In hindsight it looks like mask wearing indoors in places such as public transport or shops should have been kept and wouldn't be surprised if it was bought back. It is rather worrying however that full lockdowns are almost talked about in the same breath as these low level restrictions as if bringing it back is a perfectly normal and acceptable measure that they hope wouldn't be required.

I fail to see however how a country with a high rate of vaccinations would accept such a lockdown regardless of any measures brought in before that.

Actually the risk that they die of the 'vaccines' is already far higher than chances of dying of Covid.

On top of that, the young generations suffer the most of the measures (suicide rates are going through the roof) , their economical outlook is grim and it's mostly them who have to pay for all the debt that's now created to feed the farmaceutical-industrial complex - sorry I mean, 'to combat Covid'.
