Both of you apparently failed to grasp the meaning of my prior post.
I said that in fact the Covid-virus seemed to affect primarily those for whom Trump and his ilk were gunning right from the start, namely, the poor, the disenfranchised, vulnerable minority groups (Asians, Latinos, African-Americans) as well as middle-class professionals who actual work and work HARD for a living!
The white investor class was barely touched and this is what the Trump-styled Republicans want...desperately, to systematically hurt, yea, destroy those who need the services of our government, those who contribute to society and require only a degree of assistance from our State. In the long run as well, much of Northern Europe handled the virus much more effectively than we, in particular, the issue of establishing herd immunity, for example Sweden.
Certain advantages of being a citizen of a country such as Germany is that zero distinction in quality of medical service exists between the average citizen vs. captain of industry; every German-born citizen is automatically deemed valuable, regardless of income.
The key difference traditonally between Germany and the US? Germany had her bugger for far too long about race/racial "purity". The US still has a bugger about distinctions regarding money as opposed to the English distinction concerning class, peerage or pedigree.
