Both of you apparently failed to grasp the meaning of my prior post.
True, because you do not write coherent posts.
Your analysis is hocum. Trump's whole candidacy and presidency was about representing the deplorables..remember? The working class. It was the investor class as you put it that was in conflict with Trump.
You are using an old playbook from the 20's, the 1920's. The monied people on Wall Street are more likely than not to be liberal dems, the techies in Silicon Valley are leftist across the board.
You are using Sweden as an example, herd immunity. In the US, what members of what party were championing that? Republicans. In fact, Trump appointed Scott Atlas who lobbied to expend resources on the vulnerable (elderly and those with serious co-mornidities), while the less vulnerable gained herd immunity. Atlas had the leftist dem mob after his head who also called for the revocation of his med license. The leftists at Stanford, where he is employed, demanded he be fired for his position on fighting covid. A position in line with Trump's, hence Trump hiring him into the Trump admin.
It was Trump who championed Operation Warpspeed to develop a vax and have available for free to the citizenry.
Your assessment is also wrong about our bugger of distinctions. You only need to have about 6% of your brain operating to realize that the "bugger of distinction" today is about group identity, ie black, brown, gay, trans, radical fems v whiteness, as guys like Ibrahim X Kendi and that chick from NYT and the 1612 Project call it.
You are behind the times and mostly incoherently so.
BTW, don't take anything personal, I love jousting with professors; especially ones who are wrong on so many things. :) :)
