Now Russia sending medical help to USA because of Corona. Isn`t that idyllic. One may say that God sent Corona on us as an act of reprimandantion.

Some PF posters were openly contemplating whether to stay put in Poland or go back to the US during this pandemic.

By posting some of these articles and videos I hope to have provided them with the necessary info before they made their decision.

You and cms have obviously not been following the entire discussion. For cms being an outspoken critic of the PiS government I understand he would never give them credit even when it is due.

I also do not see what is the problem of posting the experts & peofessionals advice.

I absolutely give them credit for quick action 3 weeks ago that has stopped an Italian size outbreak.

What I assumed however is that they would use the lockdown to buy time to test people and get the health service ready - that has not happened and shows no sign of happening - the only levers they are pulling are extra kinds of lockdown which people will not respect and which will end up causing deeper damage.

Have you not seen that until now there are posters who are not taking this situation seriously and are still comparing coronavirus with the common flu?

For those people, my advice is for them to go on a vacation to Northern Italy and let us know how it went...

Yes ,these statistics for Poland are worthless coz the government is hiding the true number of deaths from the virus. They even banned doctors to reveal true data. Directors of hospitals take care of it.

As you know us poles always do allot of talking and gossiping, our graveyards are not filling up with dead my neighbours are not all running around dressed in black , its fair to say our jungle telegraph would sound loudly if the situation here was serious, no government can hide from the internet which provides us common people a tool to communicate the facts between us, nothing is pointing to a bad situation in Poland.

Stop scaremongering to further your political ideology, Pilsudski or General Sikorski would have had you thrown into jail for the duration of the emergency.

Most countries' current statistics are flawed in such a situation; in Poland the government admits this.

Exactly what I was thinking. I have friends and associates in every major city in Poland. Not one is reporting doom and gloom. In fact, I went to a funeral on Saturday in Chorzow and the only fresh grave was the one we were gathered around.

Cant escape email, text messages, and general gossip. The world is too small to cover up mass casualties, China is the perfect example of this. Though their numbers are likely much higher than reported, news was getting out, and it couldnt be stopped.

While I am sure there are lots of unreported mild cases, this is not going to be anywhere near what is happening in other European cities. I have a friend in Italy who has given me scary reports. I have personally only seen one instance of people in hazmat suits in Krakow. I am sure it will get worse in the next week or so, but after that I think this is coming to an end or trickle level of infections a month from now.

My "genius" statement mentioned no absolute numbers as yours mentioned no absolute numbers.

I understand some people just cant take having opposing opinions or thoughts expressed. Government conspiracies and government inside sources are much more interesting than intelligent conversation.
