At the moment in Italy there are 105,792 infected, which is only 0.17% of Italian population. If we gave up all the safety measures and let 70% (according to German estimates) of their population to get infected, then we would be looking not at 12,428 deaths in Italy, but at over 5.1 million deaths! These are world-war-like losses!

And these are very conservative estimates, because if you look at worldometers info, the current death rate in Italy at the moment is 44% (!!!) - 12,428 deaths out of all 28,157 closed cases (and eventually all the cases will be closed, with patients either recovering or dying). If this rate in closed cases continues then the number of deaths can be as high as 19 million.

That's why the scientists are telling you: stay home.
I don't have to be as polite as the scientists, so I say: stay the f**k home.

One needs to have higher education to become a teacher, matura is not enough. They're only testing about 4000-4500 per day in Poland. It's nowhere near enough when compared to the ease of getting tested in Germany. There are countless first-hand reports from people about how difficult it is to actually get tested, and people are dying without ever getting tested. To give an idea of how far behind Poland is, Germany is testing about 50,000 per day.

Interestingly, with Mazowsze suffering the worst so far, it's very clear that the #lotdodomu programme was completely irresponsible. We're also seeing blatant Stalinism in the health service - anyone that publicly speaks about poor working conditions is getting sacked on the spot.

Ok, I agree. They reported 5000 tests a day this morning with more to come. Sure its not enough. People with mild symptoms though simply dont need to be tested, they need to stay home. Only 20% of cases are serious. So if you are sick, flu or COVID, stay in your house unless its serious. How hard is that?

If and when people get tired of the people making the rules and enforcing them, then they need to be voted out. There is actually no better time to ensure everyone votes now because it can be done by mail. No excuses for people to not show up. Its mostly older people dying here, so PiS loosing support every day.

PiS surely looking more stupid by the day for giving all that money to TVP now.
