Coronavirus in Poland

@jon357

I forgot to write "European" country. Obviously North Korea, Brazil, Iran et al. are all highly suspect.

Sadly yes. In Europe, Russia is a problem, as you mentioned. A problem on several levels and unfortunately an unpredictable one. I've a strong feeling though that even in countries with reliable statistics, advanced healthcare systems and transparent governments, it will still be a long time before we have truly accurate figures.

FACT CHECK: No, Trump Did Not Tell People To 'Inject Themselves With Disinfectant' Or 'Drink Bleach'

He may not have said those very words but with so many gaffs it was how it came across to world leaders and the public in general....and people rightly draw conclusions from what is said or intimated by world leaders who represent the voters....World leaders need to be crystal clear on the message they are giving out otherwise they tend to be misquoted....

They often wants to me misquoted. This is how system giving signal that don`t even care for public opinion, facts becoming irrelevant. Only demands of system remain, you live as system demand it, or you can choose to die.

What is the proof that Joe Biden has dementia ? Or that China created the virus ? Or thatnHillary is crooked ?

I think the White House line is that he did say the bleach thing but he was being sarcastic.

So which is it ?

Joker we saw Dettol Don here on the Polish TV and it's clear what he said - he is going nuts - it's almost like a cleansing LOL, can we look into that LOL

Who cares about world leaders? They don't understand American Humor! We don't have to be crystal clear on messages, that other world leaders don't get. It's not our fault, they too dense to comprehend anything. Trump is the greatest president we ever have had.

@Made in.USA

LOLOLOLOLOL "they too dense" (nice English) and "Trump is the greatest president"(time will judge him). Being from the USA, I cant understand the humor of this donkey of a President. Capitalize President when writing. He is clearly in my opinion two beers short of a six pack when it comes to having the mental ability to be the leader of the free world.

The response to Coronavirus around the world, when having full knowledge it was coming, is completely inadequate and reprehensible. But hey, Poland is having an election this summer. I wonder how long they can use the virus to keep people locked down to influence that?

jon357

Or that China created the virus ? Or thatnHillary is crooked ?

Dog-whistling to his audience. Basically the berlusconisation of politics. It hasn't happened in Poland, though it might yet should the right (wrong) individual emerge on the political scene.

people rightly draw conclusions from what is said

Exactly; bleach manufacturers had to issue warnings. Unfortunately there are many of that psychopath's supporters who are to say the least lacking in critical thinking skills.

The response to Coronavirus around the world, when having full knowledge it was coming, is completely inadequate and reprehensible.

The ame can be said about several countries' responses, including my own. Brazil too. All three countries currently run by despicable individuals. Hopefully their response will be a lesson for the voters, although sadly I wouldn't count on it.

Germany did more often test patients who died for corona

Good, test them all. The more test being carried = more confirmed coronavirus cases which will lower the overblown mortality rate. Right now we're mostly informed about those who got sick and dead from coronavirus and those who contacted it and got not affected, which is a majority, are not even mentioned in the media.

WHO estimated mortality rate of a deadly Chinese flue at around 3.5%, which I think is greatly overestimated.

If, according to Merkel's claim, 2/3 of Germans are about to catch it that would give us almost 2 million fatalities in Germany alone. Who would believe that bullcrap, not even the masses stupified by mass media and fear. So yes, test more and include in stats those healthy 'covid positive' citizens unaffected by the virus.

Testing dont guarantee that you will not get infected while coming home with the negative test results.

Trump is the greatest president we ever have had.

But of course. Just don`t forget that behind every great man stand the great woman. Behind noble Trump is his Slavic wife.

jon357

wife.

That particular former horizontale has little or nothing to do with any country's response to the Covid pandemic.

Crow
8 May 2020  #1963

On the contrary. That horizontale means a lot of in these troubling times.

She is there to support her husband. She stands for him. And he can kiss her without using a mask.

If, according to Merkel's claim, 2/3 of Germans are about to catch it

So many would have caught it without any countermeasures.

I love US President Trump. His latest comment in case with Corona that `Somebody was stupid` in Chinese Vuhan, is so hilarious and spirited.

So do WE.

Crow

You are lucky to have Trump. I don`t know how many of you can even imagine how lucky you are. Man of such a spirit, such a gentleman.

He himself can make the difference. If USA is capable to give one Trump, USA is then capable to lead. Sure, to lead. You can lead even in the Multi-Polar world. With positive examples. And the quality of that lead is much better than the quality of policing the world in Uni-Polar arena, as sick Clinton`s suggested.

Yes, I can feel it. The time of USA didn`t even start. This all to this time was only prelude. The best is just to come.

So many would have caught it without any countermeasures.

As we're seeing across the Atlantic, this happens easily. Even in the UK, that short delay has resulted in a higher death toll than there should be so far. We haven't seen the last of it, either. The countermeasures are there for a very good reason.

She is there to support

I doubt he remembers her name nowadays.

Heh wagecuck... that I haven't heard before...

It's true though - in the USA it's even worse because you have to wait to 65 to get social security and even then it's only like $1,200 a month. I don't know how old people can live off that especially when real estate/rent is expensive. **** $1,200 would barely cover a weekend trip with the old lady and me.

There are a few states though that will give you free land if you build a house on it and have little to no state property or income tax. At least in Poland life is cheap so that $1,200 per person will go a bit further especially if your place is paid off.

Poor attempt at propaganda. We all know that Poland has lied badly about the amount of infections, given how difficult it is to get tested.

If Poland was testing as much as Germany is, the numbers would be just as bad.

Crow

UK

I hope all the best for UK. Now when out of EU, by every new day, UK looks better and seams to be more reasonable. Britain escaped the EU in time. Just in time.

I doubt he remembers her name nowadays.

With that I agree. She probably arranged his photo to be on the wall above their bed.

jon357
8 May 2020  #1974

given how difficult it is to get tested.

I know of only two people who've had the test (both times positive). One was seriously ill anyway, and the other 'connected'. There is no mass testing, and the figures for infection (and sadly the death rate) are probably among the least reliable within the EU.

antheads
8 May 2020  #1975

yes the infection rate is impossible to determine, but the mortality rate is key. and compared to western neighbours we done very well. a fourth of just little scotlands deaths alone! poland stronk!

What about the fatality rate? Are you suggesting lots of coronavirus deaths aren't being counted? How does the official fatality rate look compared to other countries?

antheads
8 May 2020  #1977

we got 756 deaths compared to u.k 30,615 deaths. and thats not counting the nursing homes in u.k spain 26,299 deaths. it really is incomparable.

mafketis

jon357

So Boris is the lucky one

The citizens of his country aren't. Nevertheless, statistics there are generally far more transparent than here, and the fourth estate is better placed to call the government out on any shortcomings..
