While Wayne county (Detroit Michigan) has about the same population of Warsaw the statics are surprising.
Wayne County has had 24,000 cases while the whole country of Poland has twice as many at 47,000 cases.
Wayne County has 2700 deaths while the whole country of Poland only has about half that many at 1700 deaths.

Don`t forget PiS statistics are said to be unreliable - they have always been accused of falsifying them, since the very beginning. The amount of fatal cases is twice as much in reality - I read and quoted articles in April/ May that covid-induced deaths were counted as other diseases.

Also countries have different ways of counting deaths. Some countries count all deaths regardless of the setting they occur in, whilst some countries only count deaths in hospitals. Some countries don't count deaths that occur from for example a stroke, as a result of clots formed in a coronavirus patient (clotting is a major complication apparently). They count it as death from a stroke.

Those stroke death might also be a case in Poland. Might, but of course I am not certain coz we would need to ask doctors who are in the midst of it. But doctors who speak to journalists anonymously say that the counting system is not reliable.

I'm able to believe that, but I need evidence which no one has yet supplied.


There has definitely been overcounting in the US, where a gunshot victim was recorded as a covid death because he had earlier tested positive....


Again is there real evidence? And remember wide scale falsification would be necessary and would require active cooperation from medical professionals who mostly hate PiS...

Poland - population 38 million, number of cases 48,149, deaths 1,738

So Poland with a population eight times the size of Ireland has fewer deaths??? And if you look at the proportion of deaths to confirmed cases, Poland's figures also seem too good to be true. The demographic of the two countries is not that different in terms of seniors. Granted, the nursing home clusters in Ireland played a more significant part in our death rate than in Poland's, but it doesn't explain such a huge difference. Are we really to believe that Poland did a significantly better job of curing its patients than other European countries?? Poland's true figures are probably closer to that of Germany.

Most of them are Irish, especially outside Dublin but there are certainly foreign nationals too. More likely to be from EU countries though, the Eastern European countries, not the Phillipines, because of work permit issues.

Polish people are germaphobes and care about cleanliness, hygiene, health, etc. a lot more than others. Also, you don't have a dozen filthy turd worlders sharing a 1 bedroom flat like in Germanistan or Italy which further spreads covid. In Chicago, one of the hardest hit cities, the majority of cases are blacks despite them being a minority. Well, it's no wonder - it's the same thing with the turd worlders in Europe. It's the same kind of mentality and way of living, there's no difference. Their living spaces are rented or paid for by the government so they keep them filthy since it's owned by 'sum crackaz' anyway so they don't care for it at all - not even enough to wipe the countertops or the inside of the fridge... there is trash all over the street and even in their homes spilling out of the garbage, they live like 10 people to an apartment, they let dishes pile up to the ceiling with flies swarming all around, random people coming in and out constantly... Instead of spending $20 on paper towels and cleaning sprays they'll spend $200 on a pair of jeans... and then they talk about "racial disparities" rofl...

Of course, and many more symptomless cases of a "deadly virus". All in all, it has a mortality rate similar to the common flu. And we will have to live with it just like with influenza.

I don't think so....most people survive a flu just fine. An the flu has been around for millennia already.

But in the case of Covid-19 people just are about to find out that the longterm complications are much more desastrous to the whole body....to the brain, to the heart, to the blood vessels etc...and that is only the beginning. Even those that survive an infection will suffer most likely difficult health problems in the future, maybe chronic, maybe even life shortening. You should try to keep up with the scientists!

Just because Covid-19 isn't long enough "out" yet to get the whole statistic numbers doesn't mean you should take it lightly or advise others to ignore the danger...how you will define the mortality rate of Covid-19 if people die a year or so later because of consequential complications? Of if their life quality is destroyed but they are still alive?

It's not just like the flu! That looks like a cake walk compared to that. Better now safe than later very sorry!

But that doesn't sell well in the media since common flu is known since, at least, Roman times. People got used to it and the media need something new, something exciting to manipulate the masses.

And politicians couldn't waste such a great opportunity to keep people under control either.

Don't get me wrong. I believe in personal freedom.

If some scared/confused individuals bombarded with "news" by media outlets decide to wear a dust masks on their faces that's their personal choice. If they want to keep a "social distance" with their family and friends they are free to do so.

What I'm protesting against is making it mandatory and enforcing everyone to wear it. I refuse to do so, and I will not put a dust mask on my face as simple as that.

Also, I have to add that I'm surprised and mildly impressed with Germans protesting against lockdown.

Who said I didn't get infected, and cured, already without even knowing it? Just like with influenza many people are carriers, out of those many a few get sick and even fewer of them suffer severe symptoms and may even die. Should we all wear muzzles on our faces and keep a 2 meter distance from each other for the rest of our lives because of that?

Another question, this time about the miraculous vaccine: how come we didn't get rid of Influenza yet? Because a common flu virus is mutating and the vaccination only last for one season.

Coronavirus is slowly mutating* as well. Imagine keeping the masses in fear by mass media and politicians and then selling them a vaccines - and concessions - for every season (basically on a subscription basis). Or, once we reach a certain fear threshold in the society, even making it mandatory and forcing everyone to take it for the greater good.
