And where are Serbs helping with regard to the flow of refugees coming to Poland as a result of war in their own country or the part of their country which they are from having been occupied by a foreign power? We Serbs resisted and did our part. Chetniks were even active with Polish resistance movement. If Britain didn`t betray us, if we were stronger we could do much more for Poland. You can say that we were idiots to trust in Britain and we paid that dearly. How I heard, Poles also trusted to Britain and paid for that.

Yea Austria definitely has a tad different approach to the migrant issue than Germany or France. Even these countries are getting tapped out and sick of all the attacks, economic issues, piles of garbage migrants leave in train stations and city squares, attacks on trucks crossing borders the whole lot...

Why didn't Ukrainians do these types of acts? No ones criticising them for raping women, blowing sh!t up, causing mayhem etc and 1.4 mln came to poland while apparently Germany recently welcome its 1 millionth migrant... Gee what a cause to celebrate

I still fail to understand how Merkel can force Poland or any other nation to accept a quota of migrants.

The very first step is to establish if these people are genuine refugees or just migrants and that has not been proven so far. In fact, the most worrying thing is that the distinction between migrant and refugee is no longer being debated and Merkel is just bullying member states from accepting people who have NO legal justification to be in Europe in the first place

Accepting those never had any justification at all. They could easily find shelter in other Eastern Asian countries sometimes the very next country they border with. Very few Poles escaped the communism by fleeing to culturally different countries like the Muslim ones. Most went into other Christian and European-like countries. Merkel and the rest of EU criminals should force Iran, Quatar, Saudi Arabia, etc. let refugees in.

I'm looking forward to the prices of cheap flights to/from Ukraine falling to the levels seen for flights to/from the UK. I'd gladly put my hand in my pocket to fund the trip of a few members of the Azov debating team so they could discuss with some members of the Wroclaw ONR that organisation's stance with regard to migrants and asylum seekers from Ukraine.

Yes and when you read the article it only refers to "refugees" which proves my point. The terms "refugees" and "migrants" have become interchangeable that media outlets, forum members and even EU bureaucrats swap and change from one term to another without caring that they each mean something completely different.

You cannot impose a quote of migrants onto a country and if they are refugees then checks need to be made to ensure they are genuine refugees and not just migrants who have "accidentally" lost their paperwork.

Another thing-look at the image from that Guardian article-do you see any women in that group? Is there no such thing as female refugees from these countries ??

Migrants and refugees are not the same thing and never will be.

A real refugee does not care what country he ends up or where he'll get the most money by bilking the welfare system. Instead a real refugees first goal is to escape into any country that is safer than the one hes in.

There's a million refugees, real refugees, in Lebanon alone from Syria and a few from Iraq. For a poor country they've been an absolutely gracious host. Its a shame wealthy gulf states like Kuwait Qatar uae saudi Arabia are not accepting refugees . the Saudis said that its too much of a security risk.

The real refugees simply got lost in the flows of migrants and that make their identification harder. Illegal workers and migrants from Ukraine also a headache for the authorities and they commit less crimes just because their numbers at the moment do not exceed the amount of Muslim migrants in Europe.

Poles prefer ot leave the EU rather than be forced to accept illegal Muslim aliens.

The latest Polityka (post-commie weekly) has published an Ibris poll showing that
56.5% of Poles woudl prefer to lose EU funds rather than accept Muslim immigrants. 51.% would actually prefer to leave the EU rather than open its doors to Muslim hordes. Anyone who cannot understand that is out of sync with the Polish spirit. This is not about "helping refugees" but about destroying European society.

I don't believe they hold a single seat in parliament or any other high government jobs.

We welcomed Chinese Koreans Germans 1.4 mln Ukrainians 120k in wroclaw alone west French Africans nigerians Chechens indians and ppl from all over but poles are simply too scared of turning into France who's been under state of emergency on and off for almost 2 years. There are entire neighborhoods out of Paris that go up in flames and tons of property destroyed when Muslims riot for example like during the Palestine demonstration. We simply don't want the security risk or economic damage from terrorist attacks or violent riots. The small amount of muslim migrants that came from Chechnya or fee Iraqi Christian families assimilated and there's been 1.4 mln work permits issued to Ukrainians. Where was the 'solidarity' in helping ukranians?. Now they want to tell us who we shouldn't and shouldn't take in? We didn't cause this problem and paying for America's Italy's germanys Frances mistakes sets a slippery slope.
