Poland under pressure of EU to accept more asylum seeking refugees

Sparks11

It's funny how the news reports the manifestations. It starts with something like " In many cities around Poland there marches to support immigrants but also there are also some anti-immigration marches..." Then it shows pictures of 10 or so people standing around with signs saying that they will take in immigrants. The "przeciw" marches fill the streets :)

More of brainwashing from the MSM. Fortunately more and more people see these lies.

As I wrote before, there has long been a very small Syrian community in Poland that has a low public profile but does very well for itself. IINM Syria was around the top of the heap for education in the Arab world and have a reputation for being canny and resourceful. If I thought the refugees were cut from that same cloth I'd be cheering them on.

But.... all of the sources that I can find point to at least 50% (and maybe a lot more) not being Syrian at all. Despite obvious media attempts to give space to women and children the overwhelming majority are very fit fighting age men and they have an entitled attitude about where they want to go and a very blase attitude towards international and national laws.

The great majority of these guys have no experience whatsoever with civil society or secular authority or rule of law. Even if they're nice people when you talk to them one on one they don't have the language skills to fit in to where they're going and the chance that they have the life skills for fitting in and functioning in a highly developed and functional western society are...... not good.

None of the people who've been calling for their admission to Europe:

- seem to have any plans whatsoever on how to vet them and what to do with those that do not qualify for asylum.

- seem to have any idea on how and when to stop the lax entrance rules (there are literally tens of millions of people who'd like to follow the current arrivals) how will the faucet ever be turned off?

- seem to have any idea about how much this is all going to cost. Germany has been very hostile toward fellow EU member Greece and refused any relief of Greek debt (even when the IMF says it's needed) but is committing how many bilions of euros to support a large group of people who won't be able to do any but the most menial labor for years and years?

- seem to have any idea about how to keep the refugees in countries they don't want to be sent to (as opposed to Germany and Sweden).

There's more but I'd like some real answers and not the usual handwaving and dismissals.

anti-immigration march

The lady mayor of £ódź has outlawed an anti-iummirgaiton march planned for 12th September, the anniversary of King Sobieski's 1683 victory in Vienna. The PC dictatorship, which turns a blind eye to disgusting, child-depraving perv parades, deprives normal citizens from voicing their views on what is now Europe's major controversy.

don't have the language skills

But at least those in Germany will have 200 new mosques in which to worship - courtesy of Saudi Arabia.

Well done Turkey and Germany for taking 800,000.

Indeed.

think countries shouldn't have to take in refugees but should be named and shamed for turning their backs on people in desperation.

The real reason I am positive about not only taking in but looking after refugees boils down to one thing, "what if it were to happen to you?".

And that's summed it all up really.

The country with the most Syrian refugees by far is Turkey. They've taken 1.2 million.

And are welcoming refugees, whether you like what we do in Europe, or not.

You are not European (and never will be) and don't speak for the majority of Europe. Especially considering that 80% of Poles said they are against becoming a minority in their own country

I stand corrected. Anti-fa was outnumbered 10:1. :-)

I wish I were more surprised at how the media is trying its d***edest to make people think that everyone is for taking refugees. I hope that Poland keeps a clear head and isn't taken in by propaganda For those against the "fake" pictures and articles showing the immigrants causing trouble in Greece and elsewhere, they seem to pale in comparision to the inaccuracies shown by the mainstream.

A guy in charge of NGO helping Syrian refugees in Lebanon.

In short: the rich Syrians go to Europe, those that really need help are in Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey.

Are Turks trying to kill them ?

In Syria?

the rich Syrians go to Europe

Excellent. Just the sort we want.

In Syria?

In Turkey. That's where vast majority of them come from to Europe.

Excellent. Just the sort we want.

So isn't it about helping the poor ? If not then what ?

jon357

In Turkey.

There's already plenty there. And some have travelled further. Whether you like it or not, they aren't going back.

come from

Through, not from. They come from Syria, through Turkey.

So isn't it about helping the poor ? If not then what ?

Helping those displaced by war. Isn't that obvious?

Just saw another clip on TVN where three people who are for immigrants were briefly interviewed whereas zero against were given air-time. Ridiculous

Syrian War Refugees

Or those posing as such. MEP Zbigniew Kuźmiuk believes Germany is to blame for unelashing the refugee invasion. War refugees have been aririvng for some time btu Germany, apparently trying to offset their "Nazi bad guy" image, announced they could take in 800,000 of them. The German foreign office actually put together a video in several languages including arabic and posted it on the web showing German immigration officials welcoming a refugee, giving him money, accommodation and the promise of a job and asking him "what else can we do for you?" It didn't take long for a wave of copycat mirgants out for their own slice of the pie to appear. Realising she had gone too far, Frau Merkel then got the EU to start apportioning refugee quotas to individual countries.

Looks like the positive support demonstration is more popular than the negative counter-demonstration. Very good news.

Its all nice and dandy but has anybody noticed that it doesn't makes sense to put 10 000 people who doesn't want to be there to Poland. I'm against quotas for one reason only that eu will not come up with a plan to make Poland responsible for her share of refugees, meaning paying fines if they as they will escape to Germany.

Perhaps you need some glasses because the anti-invasion demonstration clearly had a larger crowd. Somebody posted there were 10,000 people in attendance versus 1,000 for the pro-invasion traitors.

That's why I say let them send as many as possible, it won't be much of a burden and will expose the stupid politics of Angela "I'm completely incompetent" Merkel and make the pro-migrant lobby look even more ridiculous.

That's

Yes, it would be a good plan, what if thd eu will make Poland responsible for behaviour of those people? Fines or whatnot!

In the left wing media certainly is, but left wing media has not much to do with the reality.

LOL ! Dude, they were outnumbered like 20 to 1. Besides, the "pro" crowd were largely people working for NGOs and such, basically people that need them "refugees" to keep their "business" running.

Oh that was a given W.E.
Go back to my post #1281.

I've been telling you this for the last three days and it is true however the libatards will still be in denial and post just the opposite to appease and promote their fantasy.

I know jon's denial tactics very well and this is a classic example of it.

Why would I be ashamed? I didn't make or support any war. Well, that's not exactly true. I was abused by our propaganda and sort of supported the intervention in Libya, which I now deeply regret.

Oh, so you are a Frog.....no wonder you don't want to admit it.

They shouldn`t f*** with Poland

Right on Crow........Poland is making me very proud to have my ancestry come from there.
The Polish are standing united and strong and should tell the E.U. good bye, have fun as their pocketbook will soon be empty supporting the millions more to arrive with this invasion of Europe.

Like I said, ISIS said this publically back on February 18th that there would be a mass invasion into Europe.
And now that the word is out another two million are on their way.

Glad to see a larger 'against' crowd regarding the migration crisis than 'pro' in Warsaw. It appears as though on Poland, Czech Rep., Slovakia, Hungary and the Baltics are the only countries in Europe that are thinking rationally (read: without liberal white guilt) and in the interests of their people during this invasion. The Hungarians have completed the razor wire fence (not enough IMO, but better than nothing) and beginning monday will start arresting people entering Hungary illegally. I think the army is now allowed to be deployed to the border to help the overwhelmed police.
