Yeah I used to like White Castle when I was living in NY. Miss the fast food options from the US for sure - here in Poland the only contenders are McD, KFC and Burger King plus a few local players (usually tastes horrible) in shopping malls.

The whole world should pray for the US to survive its own stupidity because, without the US as a garbage can for the surplus goods and as the world cop and an ATM, the whole world is an unstable pile of crap.

American exceptionalism is wishful thinking. We only got into this position because administrations during WW1 and WW2 were clever enough to take advantage of the weakness of the British Empire and the other European powers. Without these wars, the USA would probably be comparable to countries like France or Germany both militarily and economically. Definitely not the overwhelming superpower that we are today.
